11 bit studios will be one of the few developers that actually care for their community's feedbacks and delay their release just to give the best experience for all of us. I can't wait when the game gets released and see the masterpiece you have made and the changes you did since the beta version! Props to all of you, I can't thank you enough
@@chukiwolfen6026 Nope, you get all DLCs post release along with it. Well worth the money and 11bit deserve it. Pre-ordered day 1 and September 17th can't come soon enough! :))
Some things I noticed. 1:53 The overseers and 1 currently unknown radical faction on display here. 3:15 Okay, this is cool. Depowering the radicals to help your city run better sounds like a fantastic change, which I'm sure will have absolutely 0 negative side effects, and definitely won't start a civil war. 3:52 first appearance of the 'venturers' faction.
I an as well as some other people in the community were a bit scared when the game was brought out as pre-orders from experience with other pre-order games recently. But seeing the development over the past months and these great update videos has shown me the great care you took of us as your player base incorporating our feedback beautifully into the game! I'm excited to play when it comes out and good luck on the final two weeks before launch! Don't pull too many emergency shifts.
i think the game is easy to edit thats why , like its running on a highly customisable engine like that used in arma3 most studios delay for 2 months only to make the game run properly and they fail at that
@@LauftFafa the delay will be better than losing initial features forever , the first playthrough is allways special , good job on the studio to make it the best they can
The French made a steam train thing that ended up failing, and (at least a few of) the Americans followed Nikola Tesla to the north (near New London) and most of them died, on account of Tesla's lack of ethics and a malfunction in Tesla City. A few Americans are saved by the scouts from New London and presumingly they survive the Great Storm and have children
@@The.Survivor It is entirely possible that there were other French and American expeditions that New London simply never encountered just like how they don't encounter New Manchester. Plus we haven't seen German expeditions yet, only heard about German spies.

I wasn't interested at all in the frost punk games. But then I played The Alters demo and got to see a glimpse of how good 11 bit story writing is. Now I've got Frostpunk 1 and really enjoying it for story and the game its self. Super cool thank you 11 bit!
frostpunk 1 is one of those really special games to me. one of my best friends and i devoured every campaign and to this day can say something like "hey remember last autumn" and we both just go into this trance state thinking back to our first times. the game came out years ago but we still argue about the different decisions we made. i'm looking forward to getting into a knock-down drag-out fight with this mf over his insane ideas about post-apocalyptic social organization in this new experience
Through the video I was able to spot 8 new factions, apart from the ones that were shown in the beta Edit: there’s actually 10 after watching carefully, plus there’s this one faction that looks interesting, it’s one with a crown 7:09 , probably something to do with the elites??
An idea, I really wanna see is specialized or upgradable automatons I think it would fit nicely and for some of the paths in the game, you can use them to help disperse the riots
Can we name our cities and colonies? I think a lot of people, me included, would love to give name to our new cities and not just have this “food colony” stuff. By the way. The first frostpunk had an interesting system with the enclaves on the last scenario. How would we interact with comunities that aren’t under the direct control of new london?
Bye just an idea 11 bit studio if we’re going to have a city and colonies how about an idea. What about military. Now I know it’s crazy but you said it there would be a civil war so the steward is going to need an army to defend the last city and colonies. I would think the military would be a sort of keeping the peace but if there was a disloyal colonies you can send the military to take out the rebels and bring it back to your control. Or again when civil war happen you can use the military to defend and go on offensives. It doesn’t need to be complex just a version of the goods district to a military district to supply the army with guns and ammo or just guns and maybe those automatons but with guns you know cool stuff. It doesn’t need to be complex just a military district to produce guns and supply the army. Kinda like Hoi4 where there’s civilian factory aka goods factory and military factory’s for making guns. It doesn’t need to be complex just a military district to produce guns and supply the army. The army by the way Doesn’t need to be complex but a little to maybe have tactics but not too many just simple. Also in the council I would think here would be laws to suggest in how he army should work like I had a few ideas like the first law would be a automaton army that would use automatons a lot and I think it would be a technocrat law idea for a automaton army and for the machinist there army would be a mechanized army with mechanized vehicles or heavily armored troops. And for the foragers well maybe a standard army like just like the red army during ww2 kinda like that. Oh and my idea for the ice bloods are is that there army is a winter army or kinda like the Finland army during ww2 or basically guerrilla warfare army. And for any merchants well a mercenary army is the best for them. And for the people well a people army would suit then best cause they are in charge of who gets to go in war. Then for a last insane idea is that the steward propose a law that doesn’t do any of these and combines them all but organized and removes some stuff and adds new stuff and then finally you got a Stewards army basically unlike the rest the army serves the steward and are loyal and basically are what you can say new London Army. Now this was my suggestion and I hope you read this 11 but studio cause it’s crazy but makes sense since you said civil war and colonies and plus I get British colonial empire vibes you know and the colonies are like the untied states where they try to get independence. Also last idea is that if there was other city’s out there with there own army and you can just conquer them and they become colony’s or just city’s but without a council. But that’s it for my idea and I really hope you read this i loved frostpunk 1 and frostpunk 2 is just amazing and I hope you read this cause I’ve always wanted to expand outside the single city but with colonies and the idea of a army just makes me crazy cool. Anywya I help you read this 11 but studios. Sincerely, A Big Fan
I mean in theory it could work. However by it's very nature. A civil war is hard to control as it's a symptom of the the slow destruction of a societies political system.
