Now I understand why'd they name the ED 'Slump' lolll. Btw, the lyrics in slump is talking about how the singer is trying their best to catch up to someone and is lamenting the loneliness they feel without this someone. All these episodes it was Rachel who was featured in the ED, and we can take this two ways. The first and the most obvious one being that this is from Bam's perspective towards Rachel and the second being that this is from Rache's perspective. The second can make sense if you consider her gloomy demeanor and that dream that she had of Bam where she presumably feared that he's going to leave her. But now that this episode's been released, you can definitely see that the focus of the ending is most definitely from Bam's perspective (for obvious reasons), and that is clearly reflected from how the ending is featuring Bam instead, in a slump, sinking further and further down... while Rachel is at the Top now, overlooking.... Hey, wouldn't it be funny if next week's opening features Rachel instead? Smiling and climbing the tower with her very hEaLtHY leGS??? MAN, HOW AMAZING WOULD THAT BE???? I didn't think about it like that. That's pretty cool. I saw that it was a pretty good conclusion on Khun's arc about Maria and about the fact of having friends who won't hesitate even if he does. But seeing that. I really like how they showed that Khun won't betray Bam. Even for Maria.
I hope the second season of the anime will show Khun's loyalty to his friends. He's such a good friend and he really cared a lot for Bam. He is honestly one of the best characters in Tower of God and I love him so much.
The blue guy is Khun Hatzling .. he's the lightbearer (/edit scout actualy after comments and wiki check) of Yuri's team .. he's been on screen in Yuri's scene (unintentional lol) .. so he's not working for Yu (the coffee turtle)

You gotta read the WebToon or check out AniNews (UA-cam Channel) - for the content that was left out of the anime. The removed content will help you understand the plot a lot more. Some major plot points and character interactions were changed/removed in the anime. I swear, in the WebToon, this betrayal came as a complete shocker, while the anime made it way more obvious. Also, I can see Rak jumping on boulders while dodging Goblins becoming a Game.
Contrary to what most people say, this episode made me like Rachel a lot more. And i am not saying this to bait, im being honest, Rachel is a deep character. Thats all i can say at the moment.

The next episode is my favorite of season 1. I hope you like it too. It reveals a lot of things we've been wondering since episode 1. And if they tease the 2 new mc's from episode 1 of season 2 at the end of episode 13 then i'll be fangirling(and ima guy) so hard. SIU has humongous balls for taking such a big risk by introducing new mc's after season 1.
Bam x Aguero best ship. Honestly Aguero’s character developed the moment he cared for Bam and rejected going with The other Khun to see Maria. Rachel should die, she just stepped the line.
And yet I prefer Bam to stay as a boy (or just innocent I suppose) rather than a beast and just stay with Khun and Rak. Maybe go on a vacation like they said they would after the end of the nightmare

In the webtoon there were way less clues on Rachel betrayal. I guess knowing the rest of the story tainted the animators with Rachel Hatred. A common sickness among anyone who has knowledge of her existence.
I agree with you with how far the princesses have come. They made them so much more likeable in the anime, specially Anaak. It made them seem much more like a real squad, with Endorsi defending Anaak, Hatz defending Khun, and Anaak defending Bam. I'm really onboard to these anime only bits they added.

Rachel is not a villain, I think she has a reason why she did it. And I dont really like Bam, he just too much depends on Rachel, its not healthy. Yes for Bam Rachel was everything, but he got friends, and he simply just can't let her go. I didnt read the webtoon, but I think Rachel simply just can't be with Bam if she wants to reach her dreams, I can't say she is bad, until I know the reason of her motives. In this anime everybody is selfish, everybody wants to achieve theirs dream, no matter what cost, it their primary goal. And Bam's dream is Rachel, and I think no one (maybe expect the king?) achieved his dream in the tower, maybe they can't.
clarifications Khuns brother came with Yuri and is obviously a ranker but there is more khun kids than any other family so he is definetly a brother or step brother

@Deepak Goswami Bitchy people? I like the adaptation but it's like 7/10. The character interactions in Webtoon adds a LOT of depth to the characters. I don't criticise them because they didn't have budget for more episodes but that does not make it auto better.

we saw in the previous episodes that Khuns family member came with Yuri he was apart of Yuris group. Also he himself staited in this episode that he found it funny that Khun will try to get a higher position then the family head not the idea of him climbing the tower.
You have to understand that when you are traveling between floors period the group positions must be covered so when you see yuri's team you need to account for all the positions except fisherman as that is yuri position . so everyone who new who showed up was apart of yuri's group.

The Khun we see in the ep is from Yuri's group and he is certainly far older than Aguero is. He is from a different branch of the Khun family. Not much is known about "Blueberry" except that he's a ranker and anything else is spoiler material, that's why I haven't said is name. All I remember is that they called him Blueberry when he 1st showed up. Also, the conversation the two had is original to the anime. In the Webtoon, Blueberry was like "Oh hey, you're a Khun too, how about that. Goodbye, thanks for letting me use your lighthouse." No mention of Maria Jahad. I wonder why they changed the interaction. Did SIU have anything to do with it? I like this interaction, i've always wondered what would happen if Khun met Maria again, maybe this was their way of setting up the seeds.
A lot of people forgot also that Rachel should be paralyzed to, so not only is it the betrayal of pushing bam but realizing she's been lying this whole time about her legs.
RACHEL IS ACTUALLY AN IMPORTANT MEMBER TO THE STORY SO FAR SO AS WE ALL WANT HER DEAD BY NOW WE SHOULD ACTUALLY BE GLAD SHE TRIED HER BEST TO KILL THE GUY SIMPING FOR HER. WHO KNOWS WHAT THIS ACT OF BETRAYAL CAN DO IN THE FUTURE OF THE ANIME.

Bam x Aguero best ship. Honestly Aguero’s character developed the moment he cared for Bam and rejected going with The other Khun to see Maria. Rachel should die, she just stepped the line.

The webtoon is great and so is the anime. They literally are doing the anime justice by following the webtoon REALLY CLOSE.
In the webtoon there were way less clues on Rachel betrayal.
I guess knowing the rest of the story tainted the animators with Rachel Hatred. A common sickness among anyone who has knowledge of her existence.

I agree with you with how far the princesses have come. They made them so much more likeable in the anime, specially Anaak. It made them seem much more like a real squad, with Endorsi defending Anaak, Hatz defending Khun, and Anaak defending Bam. I'm really onboard to these anime only bits they added.

The character interactions in Webtoon adds a LOT of depth to the characters.
I don't criticise them because they didn't have budget for more episodes but that does not make it auto better.

The anime made Rachel way more suspicious than how it was in the webtoon. It felt like you got slapped outta nowhere when she pushed him in the webtoon

we saw in the previous episodes that Khuns family member came with Yuri he was apart of Yuris group. Also he himself staited in this episode that he found it funny that Khun will try to get a higher position then the family head not the idea of him climbing the tower.

The Khun we see in the ep is from Yuri's group and he is certainly far older than Aguero is. He is from a different branch of the Khun family. Not much is known about "Blueberry" except that he's a ranker and anything else is spoiler material, that's why I haven't said is name. All I remember is that they called him Blueberry when he 1st showed up.
Also, the conversation the two had is original to the anime. In the Webtoon, Blueberry was like "Oh hey, you're a Khun too, how about that. Goodbye, thanks for letting me use your lighthouse." No mention of Maria Jahad. I wonder why they changed the interaction. Did SIU have anything to do with it? I like this interaction, i've always wondered what would happen if Khun met Maria again, maybe this was their way of setting up the seeds.
