looks like finally glossy is coming out amazing i am a picture quality person i have a unique ligthing setup and 100 percent watch movies in dark room because quality matters for me plus i believe this should first come in the treaters first with leak brightness of 10000 nits hdr
sooo we went from increasing ppi to reduce the visible pixels to this......a physically unremovable grid at the endpoint. im assuming you cant notice this on the side of a building for advertising, but to watch content on it at ground level? 😀
You probably can't notice that it isn't a single panel when it doesn't have such bright lights over it. and the matte finish seems to be perfect regardless of lighting. this is far better image quality and objectively higher res than most projectors let's be real, so given that you can use it in a room with a lot (but not this much in the case of the glossy finish) ambient light, I'd say this is fantastic but for the price.
Why little panels?... Why not just 4 panels snapped together. I think they are ripping off the consumer by selling these multiple panel displays ...It will only be a while before a Chinese company sells a 4 panel wall kit. For under 5000$ US. The pixel density is not at all high-resolution.
It's micro led, it doesn't matter how you break it down the cost won't be significantly different as most of it isn't in the grid or other variables related to the form factor. It's in things like pixel pitch, materials etc. that being said larger panels are also harder to transport, setup and won't allow for the repairability of this solution if a panel gets broken. everything is a trade-off. the Chinese make all of this and they are already selling these things at cheaper prices, but again, with trade-offs, less res, worse build quality, harder integration with other devices, I'd assume worse customer support/warranty if any. you'd be crazy to spend $100k-$1m on something from a Chinese company with no US presence, consumer protection or at the very least the ability to sue domestically.
Hey I love this I want this but I was also wondering can this be installed outside I have been trying desperately to get ahold of a person who makes the billboards that change I would love to do my fence in this so that I can make my back yard be what I want it to be I want to make my own virtual world I want to make our bedrooms be these all over like that black mirror episode the guy is forced to watch tv all around his cube but I want to change my views of my outside so my fence becomes one with whatever scene I want ocean be it desert ice snow a beautiful garden surrounded by trees and then have a awning that can cover my entire backyard and do a projector as the tree tops the sky any thing I want originally I wanted to live inside a warehouse and use projectors to cover all the walls floor top to whatever the day I felt I wanted to give tranquil peace to be where I want to be without ever leaving my box including being around friends and family that are here or gone by adding them in my sons all 3 are amazing programmers and they have made my tv have videos where my dad is there in front of me talking to me while he is long gone and that would be amazing to have these scene views everywhere the entire house I run a electrical buisness and I know alot of company's that would love this installed as well as I would love to install them electrical wise as well any idea of the uv rain proof they are and cost of them so I can lay out the size I need covered how big can I make this last thing I made anywhere near as cool was so many fiber optics cables to make my kids ceilings into the sky's day and night with stars that shoot alot of work but well worth the trouble this seems to be a much easier product which means it is much more costly but I still want it
Is this the only glossy micro LED? I like it. However, the lines are so visible. Would assume you wouldn't see them from a normal seating distance.
Was it hot to the touch`? Would it work as an extra radiator?
Not hot to the touch, but like all LED displays, you do feel some heat coming from it.
How noticeable were the tiles in person? I can see them clearly in the video, and I feel it would be distracting while watching in person.
They were noticeable up close. Better lighting would reduce this. There’s also a matte finish option.

We haven’t seen the matte version-yet. But we’re told the colors are good

I would 100% prefer non glossy panel, just those edges between panels look awful IMO. They shine by reflecting ambiet light.

No. Projectors don't cost nearly as much and don't have annoying reflections
At some point when the cost of mega panels like this and Samsungs "The Wall" go down. Until then, no.

For few thousand dollars you buy perfect projector which is completely equal quality with this insanely expensive TV 😂
