It's here-the biggest gaming display! It's not by Hisense, it's not Samsung's The Wall, and it utterly embarrasses my 115" TCL TV. By area, this is bigger than most IMAX screens and WAY better to game on. It's a 2000" inch tv!
Thanks Clark's AV! - check them out at clarksav.com/

Third and only person dare to ask Linus for his 4090
how is this 35 minutes before the video came out
I understand why, but why?
I love how the couch looks like they found it on the trash, while gaming on a screen bigger than any space you will ever own.
Their couch looks like this so their screen can look like this.
> how the couch looks like they found it on the trash
They did, it's from Wish
Engineer types caring about a couch other than it sits? Psssht.
When you spent all your money on a tv, you do what you gotta do for the rest.
I mean, I am fine with my 15 inch laptop screen. And the screen is a bunch of screens together, which doesnt count as a monitor
I am sooo glad you guys didn't wait weeks to post this! That part 2 teaser was so insane!
LTT got that stronk sauce😂
People rip on LTT videos for being uneducational from a technical standpoint, but having a short and sweet introduction to an area of technology that I've never really delved into before is seriously great. Love the longer vids gang.
I love that they brought the old intro animation and song back, i've been missing it. Been watching since I started high school now i'm about to finish college. Linus if you're reading this you're awesome and inspiring.
The intro never went away. They just don't use it for every video for various reasons. For example, the Apple vision pro video has the intro.
Someone finally built Frank's 2000" TV.
Now it just needs 90,000W of Dolby sound.
thank youu
Yeeeeeeeeeaaaaah, I was looking for the post that would reference Frank's 2000" TV.
All to watch The Simpsons from 30 blocks away!
What a lucky guy. I hear he got the last one in stock.
Yeah, A Dolby Atmos system with speakers all around the building (up, down, left right...) You could have an immersive titanic experience. If the echo is low enough it could give an insane 3d sound effect
15:45 I love how they all just look at it with their mouths open and completely stunned.
its close to AR gaming or holographic, this is the future for those that dont want vr you just go into a room of the house that has screens on each wall the floor and ceiling and the screens that can do holographic projection then when the game loads its a 360 around you objects projected around you. of course vr will be the cheaper option by far
VR cause motion sicknes to many, holo room from Sunshine ... or Star Trek ? Heck yeah.@@MikeSerrene
@@MikeSerrenemotion sickness sucks
That's what he said
Thank me, I'm your thousandth liker.
I love and share Linus' excitement for this screen. Looking at his amazement while looking at the final screen, how he talks when describing what he sees, I got a bit emotional, you can see how passionate he actually is for all of this stuff. Such an amazing, fun and overall great video. One of my favorites, if not the best of all time.
I love the undeniable nerdy look of joy about that huge lens at 2:15
Give a raise to the person who had the idea to give some score to the video and tuned-out the narration. Sometime you just have to let the scenery do its magic!
Well done!
No one did this on purpose, the tv image was so big the narration lagged behind :p
This was the default track that is played on the MS Flight Simulator Discovery Flights. It's always pretty awesome, but unfortunately it's over too fast.
@@SirForceMEDIAwait this was music from msfs? Which one? 2020?
@@kylefaris5487 Yes, the current one, MSFS 2020
I'm NGL this is one of my favorite videos LMG had done in a while just because it's soo different and genuinely fun. I've been a fan for way over a decade now and I love stuff like this
Seriously I was grinning the whole time. This was fun from start to finish.
Hi NURGLE, I'm dad.
Props to the Clark's AV guys for seeing the value of a collab like this -- I mean I'm sure they got paid, too, but coming out to participate in the shoot is intentional, and a good move.
I really enjoy these videos from LTT. Great work!
As an AV professional who works on setups like this, I was giggling the whole time. Linus was experiencing some of the more introductory tech we work with for big budget corporate events. It's pretty wild stuff. And when you get a fun media server operator involved, you can get some exciting things on those 300ft+ wide screens (such as your Project Manager as a disco ball). Wonder if the audience would enjoy seeing event tech?
Same. This is cool but I wanna see them game on a giant LED wall, preferably the Sony CLED
Gaming on a giant pixel mapped festival wall has got to be a favorite of mine 😂
Same, cant deny I havn't done this in a warehouse or two though.
We even attempted wi tennis on a "full size" court with LED screen. Didnt work. Scaling of the controllers is all wrong :(
Same, I was like bruh 12k lumens isn't nearly enough for that size haha. Also that's an old discontinued projector, though they still work great. I've got a triplewide setup of EB-PU2213 projectors and now I want to try to game on it!
Bro sameee
You guys should have a photographer take scenic pictures of things like mountain ranges or an ocean view for when the display is not being used. Take the photos and crop them to be dimensionally correct in terms of positioning and FOV. That way it would look like you're just missing a wall. You could even do this with CGI scenes to do something like infinitely expand the warehouse in that direction. I would LOVE to see that, especially in person.
I think Brandon used to do that when he was there, not sure if Andy or any of the others are into such photography?
Constantly running this setup would cost 15 USD per day in power for the projectors alone
they aren’t keeping the projectors
@@gjorgdyhonestly, worth. Bake the cost of running a projector like this into membership fees. Having something immersive that you can get lost in is honestly so worth having.
@@Kinkajou1015 and imagine INSTANT REPLAYS on it as well.
I love how this channel started from small reviews lol, love you man and been loving you , hopefully these crazy things will come more often!
That's awesome!
Would have loved to have seen an RTS or Civ on a screen like that. Imagine having the whole map visible at once!
I'm sooo glad Linus is back to doing these projects. He has the resources to do stupid crazy shit and I'm here for it. Also that setup is perfect for FS2020.
The Mr Beast of Tech.
The fact that Linus had the whole mario level there and only tried to race mario instead of playing it irl is criminal. I'd also love to see something like Elite Dangerous on this sort of scale, a giant space battle would look so good.
Star citizen!
Even Squadrons would look INSANE!
@@wavetech_ dude those cinematics!!!
Second for Elite Dangerous
Either Elite or Star Citizen. I'll take either one!
This was a great video, this kind of video made me follow LTT over a decade ago! Fascinating tech, just over the top and still brought to us in a way that we can appreciate it! This was great, also loved the usage of the music when you showed the footage of the flight simulator and everyone being in awe... Just great! :) Thanks guys and gals, keep it up, this is what you excel in!
This weirdly feels more impactful than any video containing stuff I can actually use or even can just hope to someday be a part of. I wonder if it's just the sheer scale that somehow brings me in.
Thanks, Linus!
Dan's reaction in the background at 15:45 is the icing on the cake
Yep, exactly
That projector lens, especially considering the size of the front element, was way way cheaper than I was expecting. I've used $15K Canon glass before, so that's pretty damn inexpensive comparatively. Good ultra wide and distortion free glass is really expensive to manufacture.
yeah and the whole thing is like 18k. Sure, I can buy a car with that, but considering the prices of some other consumer tech (like stupidly expensive TVs), I was expecting the projector to be like >30k
@@mastroitek Totally me too. I've been into home cinema stuff for over a decade and proper cinema and IMAX projectors are super expensive. This setup is actually good bang for buck.
projector lenses are much simpler and operate under one specific set of lighting conditions and lower resolutions, so they're cheaper than camera lenses to make. that's also not an ultrawide lens.
@@mastroitekI was expecting 100k+ -- this commercial PJ is likely very entry level, based on the price. Cinema Projectors with 3DLP are often 100k+
The catch is that those lenses are plastic. But they work okay, but definetly better optics in Canon lenses
The ending was majestic just as the tv..do like this more..awesome LMG !!!
Finally! the intro is back, love it!
This is probably one of the coolest things i've ever seen on a tech channel. Absolutly insane.
0:57 "....to the very far enddd......." The echo gave perspective to this video !
Damn.. shout-out to Linus for always going above and beyond!!
The prev vid i watched was group therapy by above and beyond😂
Seeing the entire map for Mario like that is insane
This is so sick, its also very great to see Linus so extatic.
15:30 excellent music selection, need more musical decisions like this!
Agreed.
Do you know the name of the music?
How bout no music at all, its everywhere, like a plague :(
i like how linus went from building a "in home cinema" to just building a "cinema"
He should make it a cinema for one of his videos and sell tickets for charity or smth
The biggest cinema
This is exactly the type of content I look forward to from LTT. Thank you!
I like Adam's evil giggles
Their joy is infectious. I love how they had so much fun with just BEEG SCREEEN.
The ending was nice too. Good job on the BGM included with the video.
For the badminton center, you need some Segways. Preferably if you can get Segway to sponsor you and give you a segue to a Segway
This joke has been an unfinished thought in my mind since he started using the word segue, and I'm so glad someone finally said it after all these years hahaha
it would have to be dbrand skinned Segue.
#tinylinus for 10% off the dbrand segue Segway
@@RemingtonGreer but he must be RIDING the Segue while delivering the Segway. While wearing a penguin suit, not a tuxedo, a literal penguin fursuit. What OS do Segues run on? Depending on which one, a fursuit of that animal.
Oh and he can't just green screen the top of segue into shot and pretend to have and ride one, nope he has to be in the parking lot waving a LTT FLAG while on it as well.
2:45 3000 for that lense? Did you forget a zero or did they give you the cheap stuff incase you drop it?
Its nice to finally see a company that doesn't overcharge, right?
No, that's about right. I don't deal with Epson stuff much, but that's about what an equivalent Panasonic lens would cost.
Those 0.8 fixed ratio lenses are actually the cheapest in the lineup... because they don't have much zoom, that reduces complexity, need for extra glass, servo motors, etc.
Honestly the entire projector only being 15 000 is the real shock to me. I wouldn't have blinked an eye if they said 50 000 or more.
@@Esablaka Projectors either cost under $20k or over $80k, there isn't much in-between.
Reminds me of when the Math dept put in a projector in their 300-person lecture hall in about 1994 and someone (of course) took to playing Doom one evening. After about 60 seconds of watching, one of the kids in the room turned green and RAN out of the room--he tossed his cookie in a trash can. Seems he was verra sensitive to motion sickness and something about seeing Doom played by someone else on a huge screen was more than his brain could process.
Boomer shooters were very fast paced, so not surprised.
The content on LTT has been so good lately. I hope they keep it up with the fun videos.
15:40 the look of wonder on Dan's face in the background just speaks volumes of the experience

15:52 LINUS WE NEED A DEDICATED FLIGHT SIM VIDEO!
They'd have to bring in someone that can actually game. ;-) heh, I'd be happy with flight sim, racing sim, hell, quad sim.
That the first game they tried was a web version of basically candy crush kinda says it all.
Still, I agree... get someone to fly a very simple 15 min. flight, with landing, on the huge screen.
I would totally watch that 15min, plus 5 min of sponsor crap.
Yes! As soon as they started gaming, was thinking "we need FS2020".
@mentorpilot coloab!!!
Second this! Flightsim flights would be amazing on this!
I flew a sim in an arcade once that was convincing enough to trick me into believing I was flying the building. This thing must be wild.
0:57 Nice sound design for the reverb tailing off from Linus saying "...to the very far end." I liked that. And those Clark's guys- they knew their shizzle.

That changed today. This video was SO ENJOYABLE. You guys deserve every single bit of success that you guys have. GGWP.
It was whole home water cooling for me, lol
For me it was LMG Tarren vs iJustine competing and editing for an Austin Evans video, think that was around 2019..
The foreshortening effect while watching from the side balcony is so trippy. It looks like everything on the right side of the screen is so much bigger than what's on the left but it's just an illusion from the perspective of the camera.

I don’t know how it affects your analytics but I’ve always loved when you guys use the Intro for your videos. It’s a fun element incorporation that makes content feel… proper. Glad to see it start to make a come back :)
Been mentioned on WAN that it impacts their engagement quite a bit, so it is used sparingly.
13:30 video idea: Mario speedrunner vs actual IRL running athlete
you MEAN ATHLETEs, like a relay Race, like make a moving platform system so you could raise and lower to match the ingame levels.
Great idea for channel super fun
I just had a flashback to Nick Arcade & Legends of the Hidden Temple
Need to get Storror out there to build a course to match a Mario Maker course
I love this edit and use of music
My best friend in high school (there were like 5 of us, nerds from a VERY small school system and town) anyway.. he went to Crestron in I think 2000, back in the very early years.. they had automated the traffic light system for emergency vehicles with their transponder system (and a WHOLE LOT more than that) anyway, they had the seed money to pay my friend (EE from NJIT) the real bucks to introduce seamless building automation which has been negotiated to rich people's home automation as well. I was SO proud of him for what he became, and I got a chance to alpha test some of the systems code he wrote back in the early 2ks.. SO cool.. Crestron was and is such an innovator.. So cool.
15:50 can we give props to the editor(s) i literally had goosebumps watching this wtf, with the music and stuff, damn
same here. Love the emotional touch.
felt like the oppenheimer scene😂
The song is called Rise by Walter Mair.
This is the classic LTT madness I feel the channel has been missing in recent years. Absolutely epic
this reminds me of an installation I saw at the Copenhagen Contemporary art museum. Massive room with a full wall projection. seems like around this size if not a bit wider
Excellent music choice for the MS flight sim section!!
I contract out to Clark's as a tech on the regular.
Disappointed I didn't get the call for this gig 😅
I disappointed that the brought a datapath to the gig. They are fine but this was a pro solution gig and advertisement for them. And the flopped and fucked it all up. Use a real screen switcher for something of this nature. Would have been so much better.
Also I wished they’d at least gotten their 20k laser pjs and not 12’s
@@kman1898 yeah I agree.
In their defense, Clark's is a smaller locally owned and operated AV company.
Most AV company's have been bought up by multi national giants from the US.
My point being, Clark's does not have a ton of gear in inventory, and with this being busy time. It's likely that their switchers are out on other shows.
@@kman1898 I was honestly surprised when they said 12k but at least it wasn't rear projection
@@kman1898agree on the Datapath.. Although these are laser projectors.
honestly expected that projector lense to cost like 25-30k
3k felt shockingly cheap
@@casualonemmo-player2167He was referring to the cost of one bulb.
That's because it is cheap. This is actually a pretty low end solution when talking about professional projection products.
High end projector lenses are much more expensive than this.
Those 0.8 fixed ratio lenses are actually the cheapest in the lineup... because they don't have much zoom, that reduces complexity, need for extra glass, servo motors, etc.
Whole projector doesn't even cost that much. Not a current model, but the street price on the projector would be around $18k US.
There is a big jump in price when you move up to the next tier of projectors. If you want 20,000 lumens, be prepared to sell a Tesla Model S Plaid to pay for it.
13:55 I like how Daniel says he “can’t see” and it’s ironic because the screen is over 40 feet wide
Houses of warship ... Yes those ones ... Lovely..... This video is amazing btw ... Just can't comprehend the size of scale here ... But inperson this would be mind numbingly awesome
This is one of the all time great LTT videos
10:21 this moment had me speachless
This is crazy! I wish I was there to experience it in person. It must’ve been surreal
I don't think any channel can do this kind of crazy cool thing! thanks for sharing and do this possible guys :)
As someone who used to work with a light show team using these sorts of projectors, there's just something pretty magical about huge projectors lighting up a room. It was like, we did live analog visuals for bands and such by manipulating oils and dyes under glass with cameras outputting to a video mixer and then to multiple projectors to light up the venue. We would huck these same gigantic Epson 12Ks up 30ft ladders and get them on roofs and whatnot, a real osha nightmare. We had some pretty incredible setups, big projectors are so much fun
Weird Al would never sue for this. He wouldn't even ask to visit, but would want too.
Would be wild if Weird Al actually did visit
He doesn’t even own the rights to that recording of that song, Sony does.
He may consider "I'll Sue Ya" to be a fun response too.
8:54 Linus has that kid's face when the dad explains something and he has no idea what's going on
It’s nice to see Linus enjoy these things. He was starstruck
I work in AV so I use these Epson 12k's nearly everyday. It's kind of weird seeing a whole LTT video on what is essentially my normal day to day life.
I wonder if they could have achieved the same effect with snorkel lenses, but those are around 4 times the cost of normal short throw lenses.
For this man… it was tuesday
I managed to play on a ps5 connected to a projector in a giant commercial cinema and this was the best gaming experience I had in my entire life.
But it wasn't really the visuals even though we were playing some impressive games but it was the sound that blew my mind.
Playing a game with a proper 100+ calibrated surround speaker setup and a game that supported it was an experience like nothing I ever heard or felt, on numerous times I turned around because I heard something in the back right upper corner of the room or something like this. This is something that I think everyone has to experience at least once in their life.
Hey whoever edited this video did an amazing job picking the music while the flight simulator was going, literal chills
This is what I subscribe for tbh lol. Seeing things I can never experience or work on (not my field of work) but still thoroughly enjoy knowing that there are people who probably work with these things on a weekly or monthly basis. Just the sheer size of the damn usable "screen" is incredible lol.
FRANK'S 2000" TV!!
I was going to be very upset if someone hadn't mentioned this already, I am glad that I am not the only one who thought this immediately on the thumbnail
Before even watching it, the placeholder image reminds me of that Weird Al song Frank's 2000-in TV.
Commercial projectors are pretty amazing. I work for an AV company in Eastern Canada and we just got Panasonic 4k 21,000 lumen projectors. These things are beasts, you could essentially do this outdoors in full daylight with the projectors we got, its nutty. I mean the Epson's are $15,000 and the Panasonics are $120,000 so li'l bit of a price difference.
I also do wish they used an actual projection surface instead of the wall, my AV OCD was kicking in seeing the pillar bump outs when they were aligning the projectors, but its still damn awesome.
Unbelievable, all of it! Well, you not having been to any parties is pretty super believable, but all still pretty cool!
Council: "Your TV can not have it's own ZIP code!"
Linus: "Hold my beer!"
funny you mention the council, they according to Linus on WAN Show have seemingly put the kybosh on the lan centre unless LMG can overcome their objections.
this is what I imagine 32:9 gaming is like, having to turn your head to see the HUD in the corners xD
As someone who has the 57 g9 it really do be like that. It's amazing how immersive gaming at its full resolution is. I know that word is thrown around a lot but you just get pulled into the game because it encapsulates so much of your field of view. I tried the alienware 32 inch 4k QF but it just felt like I was looking through a small window compare to what I have set up. Gaming at ultrawide is an amazing experience.
I bought my 21:9 34" almost a year ago and I'm super happy, but I definitely never want to go bigger. a friend of mine with a 32:9 keeps having to fuck with his resolution in games and screenshare all the time because it runs poorly or bugs out often, etc. :d
also that previously mentioned HUD thing, some games don't have an option to put the HUD closer in the center so you literally have to turn your head to check things. seems pretty impractical to me IMO@@JoeYo-hl6bw
Owner of a 21:9 monitor. I can say that still applies, even through the smaller resolution. One thing is certain though, movijg your mouse from one side to the other takes quitw a bit of time (also websites cant be fullscreened most of the time, as they expect you to look left, right 20x)
its glorious
@@JoeYo-hl6bw I bought my 34" 21:9 screen almost a year ago and I really love it. however I don't think I will ever go past this aspect ratio, a friend of mine has a 32:9 odyessy and he keeps messing with his settings and resolution because of screen share messing up, games running poorly or bugging out.. and some games really don't optimise their HUD very well for 32:9, and you literally have to keep turning your head to check stuff constantly that are all the way in the corners
You guys should definitely do more stuff with this wall TV that’s pretty freaking amazing
I work at a cinema part time and occasionally we would connect a Nintendo Switch to one of our projectors and play Mario Kart on a ginormous screen.
There is some lag though, as apparently Texas Instruments didn’t opt to add a designated Game Mode to their theatre projector lineup.
