Looks to me like they might be the Red Line Geo which is different from the Red Head tapajos.....the Red Line's come from Suriname I have 2 Tapajos and 2 Red Lines where I made the same mistake seeing the word Red and bought 2 Red lines in place of the Tapajos that I was going for but in the end pretty cool another species. Let me suggest the Albino Threadfin Hecklii which I have 2. Sometimes they lock lips but in the end everythings ok. One of my Hecklii have a pimple on each cheak where as the other doesnt...sex maybe? not sure?
the unknown species could be Geophagus Altifrons

You are correct in regards to the Geophagus, there is G. Sveni and the others are G. Altifrons, a clear give away for Altifrons is the small mid lateral spot which is generally max 2x2 scales large, and sometimes not visible at all

Amatitlania nanolutea are beautiful fish.i started with 6 now i had over,20 in a 75g
I only have the Geo Tapajo's at the minute but plan on getting some of the larger varieties as my tank gets upgraded, nice video and a very nice collection of Geo's in that first tank!

Yeah man I'm planning on setting up a fish room after we leave California, dedicated mainly to amatitlania and cryptoheros species, among other small to medium sized cichlids. At one point TUIC had like seven of the species I want all at the same time, but I gotta wait.
Sounds like a good plan. I hope you can find them all when you're ready

I really want to know what my geophagus are going to be
Cant recognize which specie they are
They still youngs from 7/9 cm
The dont have black spot and they do but all looks the same

Geophagus have become one of my favorites to keep! Currently keeping Svenii, heckelii and a breeding pair of red humps. Love watching them sift through the sand
They're a very beautiful and somewhat peaceful genys it seems. Very nice to watch them
