FAQS: These plates are not food grade, it is for decor/trinket trays. I am not sure if applying food grade sealers will make it food grade - but I don't recommend it at all. You can do your own research on that.
I did and the ONLY foodsafe result is: that only dried earthened clay is foodsafe which has been fired in a kiln, then painted with a ground-glass gaze and fired again if wanted to make it waterproof. ------> For the other type of clays there is no spray or polish or something which can gurantee waterproof AND foodsafe option unfortunately.
wrap your clay in cling wrap before storing them in an airtight container this might help so that they won't dry out quickly.
That's a great suggestion!
you can use moisturizing lotion on your hands to soften the clay in addition to the water
Thank you!!
Yes, they came out really nice. I like the video. Thanks for sharing.❤❤❤❤❤

Can you please tell me where to purchase the “made with love by” stamp?? I have searched everywhere! Love your pieces- they are beautiful!
It's a customizable set from Shiny Stamp!
Hi, may I know where you got your acrylic paints? Thank you.
Hi, may i know which brand of rose gold paint you used? It's so pretty.
Nippon Pylox Lazer Spray Paint Gold
Heyyy May I ask that after you’re done and painted the plates using air dry clay, if it touches water, would it still ruin the clay shape? Like does it still melt? 🥺 bcs I kinda want to make a plant vase, but not sure if I can use air dry clay :-(
This particular brand i use hardens like solid. I also use acrylic sealer to make it water resistant. :)
@@shacee Thank you!! I had the same question :)
@@voyance4elle you could also pick what vase shape it is you like and just cover it with the clay and let it dry on there ,then you'd have the glass inside keeping your project safe!
@@amandawilliams2266 Thank you ☺️
Saludos desde Costa Rica me encanta tus proyectos
these are so beautiful!! what is the gold that you're using?
Enamel gold paint. :)
Where did you get the can of gold paint
From a local hardware store. It's enamel, the brand is lotus.
They are so pretty. Loved the tutorial. Just one question- how sturdy are they?
It's pretty solid once l the moisture is dried out. 🧡 But these are not food grade, I use these mostly as decor/trinket tray.
@@shacee thank you for your feedback
I would like to do similar plates for non-container candles, but I guess that air dry clay plates are not heat resistant, right?
Not sure if you can pour candles on them directly. But I have a airdry clay lantern tutorial that works well with tea candles. :)
Rolling out your clay on baking paper makes it easier to just lift and peel off.
Where di you buy the round shiny stamp
BEAUTIFUL!!!!😍😍😍😍
Pretty do you sell them to shops
Hii girl! Pinay ka pala ❤. . . Cant wait to try this!
Yay! Hello💙
what color of gold paint did you use for details?
Beautiful
What should be the size of a trinket a round one ?
Can any one tell me if it’s possible to paint the dish while it’s still partially damp? We only have an hour and a half for this project. Would it be possible to accomplish?
I think the paint might chip or crack because the clay shrinks a bit as it dries. 🤔
Beautiful!!! Where is the gold paint from!
From the hardware store. Enamel, Gold, Lotus Brand.
@@shacee thank you!!
Can I use any type of paint sprayers, such as for wood or others?
Not sure, I've only tried the paints you saw in this video.
That is a very good idea, Thanks 🙏
hello! may i know what grit sandpaper did you use? :)
150!😊
@@shacee thank you!:)
@@shacee would love to try these out soon !
What's the name of the white and gold spray paint you used?
Nippon brand :)
If I paint them with food-safe paint/glaze can I use them as normal plates?
I've not tried really. I've set my plates for non-food products.
@@shacee I'm thinking about trying food safe epoxi
@maroxa101 Thank you for the advise miss
@maroxa101 Thank you :) I had this question aswell.
Can I use acrylic paint instead of enamel?
I'm sure you can!
Is it food safe? Can you eat in these clay plates?
Because I know air dry clays you can't eat in them
No, they aren't food safe. Mainly for decor.
only glazeware are foodsafe unfortunately :(
Sooooooo gorgeous 😍
Thank you!🧡🧡🧡
Bellos
So cute thank you
How do you store your clay after use?
Air tight container. I've stores mine in a plastic container for about 2 mos now, it still pliable.
@@shacee thank you
is this water proof
No.
What did you call the thing that you presses your name in with? Where do I get one made?
it's a Shiny Stamp Letter set. :)
Where can I get thes letter stamps
Is it safe for food?
No it is not.
Thank you!
They look nice, but working on your dry wood service would dry out the air dry clay much faster.
Beautiful jobs, Excelent@@@
