Hi there, thanks for coming by.
I am a freelance ceramist, my mission is "turn clay into animals that cheer you up : )"

Dear friends, thanks for coming by!
Some of you thought that my ceramics are made with air dry clay/polymer clay since I didn't show the kiln loading process in my previous making-of video. Please note that the ceramic clay I am using is called stoneware, it has to be fired in the kiln at high temperatures (ranging from 1,900 F to 2,400 F) for around 9 hours. This is what makes them extremely long-lasting, durable, heat resistant, waterproof.
I have always wanted to show my kiln loading process, as I have mentioned in many videos (including this one), I don't get to show the process due to various reasons. I will film it once I am able to, please stay tuned : ) I hope you enjoy this video!
i really love your work especially this giraffe👏🏻🤩. Thank you so much, please do other videos like this I really want to learn this, I bought the clay but i don't know how to start, what is the colors and another things.... i have a lot of questions!(excuse my bad english i am arabic🙂)
Do you fire them once or twice?
Hi Amii, could you share with us if you bisque before glazing your goods or just one time firing after the glaze?
Why does this change moment have less likes than the comment below it when you are the creater?! Give her some love everyone she deserves it because she works so hard all the time.
The comment below is still giving her the love she deserves tho
Honestly the most admirable bit is how clean the studio is.
True. Like, how???
LITERALLY
YES
My table is dying inside because of all the papers filled with failed drawings that stays on the table for atleast a week
@@aaishamln aw! I think they probably look great, maybe if they are in good shape u should try doing a drawing challenge which is to try and make them into a new drawing or piece of artwork. Keep up the great work!
I’d honestly be so worried about getting emotionally attached to each pot, they’re so cute
...Riiight!? Gosh!!! 🙉🙉🙉...
They all spark joy
@@tartaglia5596 😭😭
Honestly it doesn't even have to be nice looking I get attached to everything I make for example I made a small pot that looks like I found it in some abandoned village because of all the cracks yet I'm just as attached to it as my drawings
ua-cam.com/video/zRhOUaFNuik/v-deo.html....
I wanna get into pottery so bad, but if I mentioned it to my mom she would probably be like "just another stupid hobby you won't even do" xD
Maybe take it at school if ur school offers that class!
@@Kayla-fm2ie My school does not unfortunately, but it's my final year anyways. Maybe as a hobby besides college, if I have the time.
It's a very expensive hobby so definitely try to start at a studio that supplies everything
@@Piddypng True! A kiln is very expensive.
@T. Dee Is that really a thing? Man I'm missing out lol. I am from Hungary and I've never even heard of anything like that. But then again I live in a kinda small village, so maybe there are such things in bigger cities? I'll definitely need to look into that
Someone stupid: I don't understand why this crafty thing is so damn expensive!
each craft taking literal hours of work individually and care in being handled and all the skill/required learning to get to this point skill in crafting (like you said with the throwing the clay)
anyway watched this before im about to sleep, twas very calming, thank you
@@toastybjonk i mean if they are actually able to sell their work and a high price with a steady amount of customers then why not haha
Me too
Unrelated, but to be more calm and have better sleep it is better to stay off of all blue screens like phones and laptops at least 30 minutes before you go to sleep ^^
@@genevebasilique hahah funny
@@toastybjonk Considering the time she puts into making each individual pet, $200 probably barely makes minimum wage. Although the prices are high for some of us, I think the cost of an artist's work should reflect on the quality of it and the time it took to make it. For example, on her store, her prints are only $10 because she can produce those very easily. Making money from doing art also relies heavily on demand. If someone is willing to pay a high price, than (like leanne said) why not~
Oh my gosh the part when you were cutting out and carving the spots was the most satisfying thing I’ve ever seen!!
@T. Dee haha sorry, we’re different I guess 🤷🏽♀️😂
YE S
Really? The scraping kinda reminded me of going to the dentist lol the rest was very satisfying though
ua-cam.com/video/zRhOUaFNuik/v-deo.html..
i could watch it all day
once we were making ceramic bowls and stuff in art class, i remember making the pottery wheel go at full speed and then putting a piece of clay on it. WHEN I TELL YOU IT FLEW ACROSS THE RROM-
Lol 😂
**PFOOOOOM**
Adorable!! I just wish that there were a hole on the bottom for drainage incase of overwatering or bottom watering. I would hate for someone to drill a whole on the bottom and ruin your hard work!
she offers that free of charge on her website!
Succulents definitely need drainage, too! It's okay to give them lots of water (most succs, anyway) as long as you have them planted in a well-draining substrate with a drainage hole in the planter.
since the bottom is unglazed it probably allows some amount of water absorption so for dryer plants that are watered more minimally like succulents its probably not too much of an issue. You could also add a layer of larger stones in the bottom below the soil
@@tikusblue because the inside has clear glaze, water won’t absorb, but you could definitely put rocks
ua-cam.com/video/zRhOUaFNuik/v-deo.html..
wow i'd love to see you do animal crossing characters !
I think that'd be cute too, but because they're copyrighted characters there's a chance the company would go after her for copyright infringement (especially because she's making hundreds off of each planter). There are a lot of people online that don't get caught when selling copyrighted stuff (like on Etsy) but imo it's not worth risking her business over.
@@adiidi true :(((((
I wishhhhhh
Yess!
Omg same
It was so nice to see a longer post showcasing how much time and commitment goes into all that you create. I am pretty sure we would all like to see the kiln loading process . . . or more ASMR vlog content.

Anyone else realise that she’s Left handed, and that u just watched a 25 minute long video about pottery
This WAS 25 MINUTES!!!!??!!!!!!!!? it felt like less than 10min
Yeah, my brother is also left handed
@@anjalibaruah9717 cool I’m left handed
25 minutes???? Not until you mentioned it lol
ua-cam.com/video/zRhOUaFNuik/v-deo.html..
i have the attention span of a goldfish. but i watched every single second of this video. The process is so calming and fascinating. I really hope i get to learn this art.
ua-cam.com/video/zRhOUaFNuik/v-deo.html...
I love the longer videos! Would consider doing more of them? Personally, I enjoy having the whole process there, very interesting!! It also keeps me “company” in a way for longer, especially since I love to have videos in the background while I work or do chores. It’s like someone else is doing it with me in a way, and it provides good background noise :). Thank you for always making such beautiful content Amii! 😖💞✨
Your pottery is adorable, I’d love to have one like this but I can’t afford it 😅 your work is incredible and totally worth it’s price
its way to expensive like 180 dollars is a lot for a pot!
@@fatimaalmehairbi7587 not really, look at the amount of hardwork and materials which go into a single piece.
@@pratyakshamishra3802 yes i know a lot of hard work but its too much, i can afford it but i wont pay that much for 1 small pot
@@fatimaalmehairbi7587 yeah I get your point...I wouldn't buy it either but having pottery as a whole time job explains her prices. Not many people would buy her pieces hence the individual cost needs to be high.
@@fatimaalmehairbi7587 that's why just the people who understands and appreciate her work, buy a pot. I mean, if you dont want to "waste money on a simple pot", don't buy it! It's totally fine. But her work totally worth the price, honey..
The background music kinda sounds like Minecraft in some spots
C418 Wet Hands!
THATS WHAT I THOUGHT
BRUH WENT TO THE COMMENTS JUST TO CHECK IF I WAS TRIPPING!!! 😂😂😂🤣🤣
As soon as one of those parts happened one started playing
The music, clean studio, sound of working, the peaceful silence make me feel better now, i am just enjoying the whole process
I agree... feel the same...
this video has given me all the serotonin needed to last me a life time
ua-cam.com/video/zRhOUaFNuik/v-deo.html..
Yes its amazing 😻
I wish I could afford to do things like this ㅠㅠ even pottery classes are just an expensive tourist thing here
My pottery classes were $24 for 8 weeks (everything supplied you just have to show up) until they were shut down in March. I’m in tourist central as well
@@genevebasilique that’s cheap
Some workshops will allow you to burn your work at their place for a little bit of money(I say little but it will depend how many things you have, as the burning process is still fairly expensive by itself, because you will need to use the whole oven). But that alone would only make it less expensive if you had your own place to craft your things, which a lot of people don't have anyway. We have a few ''guilds'' where they teach, or employ a few artists who manage to secure their work spot in some magical way, which is kind of better than nothing.
ua-cam.com/video/zRhOUaFNuik/v-deo.html...
If I had space for a wheel and supplies in my house, my dad would definitely get it (either a second handed or at a wholesale prize)
The sound of your fish tank was really calming, and so was the whole video. Just something about someone making a piece of art, its calming.
The most remarkable thing that strikes me is her cleanliness,,, she must have God's gifted skills,,,, ❤️❤️❤️❤️
It's Monday over here and I'm watching this in the middle of my workday. It's so therapeutic and calming to watch the longer and more detailed process and hearing the sound of clay being made into a pet. So many details and work involved.
she's just precious. i love that you call them pets!
Please don't think that long videos like this will be boring, I personally think this is very calming:)
You are such a clean potter. Love your work so much! Nice music background.
I love how you described the beginning process of starting and creating the shape and how your emotions and things like that have a big part on how the sculpture turns out. Really amazing!
I don't know why but this video is one of the greatest most calming things I've ever watched. Thank you
Took ceramics for 2 years in High-school, and I miss it so much 🥺
I love seeing all the pets together at the beginning of each video!💜
Your videos are never boring! I would watch a 3 hour long video and wouldn't get bored!
I’ve taken a class on pottery making and it is both relaxing and really hard and requires all your attention at the same time, you need to make sure it’s not too thin, you don’t smush it in too much, and so much more things. You’re a great artist, and your work is amazing!!
nah because I’ve been obsessed with the idea of doing pottery/ ceramics lately.. *adding fuel to the fire*
same, sadly I don't have enough money and there's no pottery club in my town ;-;
Do not be insecure about posting these videos, they are just incredibly beautiful. You are a true master of your art.
in tears at how cute all of your pieces are. i’m definitely getting some at one point or another i swear on it
I was in the middle of a full on panic attack last night and this popped up in my recommended videos and calmed me right down, so thank you
ua-cam.com/video/zRhOUaFNuik/v-deo.html...
I wish I can quit my day job and just focus on my art. But I’m so scared that I’d fail. I hope that you continue your journey ❤️
don't be scared please, and try,
it couldn't be worse than continuing a job you don't like while thinking it could have worked
In the beginning you mentioned being insecure about making this video a little longer and I just wanted to say it was a great idea. with all the little noises calm music and subtitles, such a great way to spend my time before bed, you also explain everything and in such a nice way too, You’ve definitely earned yourself another sub
I just came up with a really cute pot idea. You do the same thing as in the video, but put drainage holes in the bottom and a little drainage dish underneath. If you want to go all out to set the mood, in the drainage dish plant grass or moss, something that can handle extra water. This was very calming thank you :3
How I make ceramic planters at home:
1. Have a ceramic studio at home.
^this
This was so calming and relaxing to watch, I started to get sleepy! 😂 I have so much more appreciation for the work that goes into it and the people that do it!
I personally prefer these sorts of longer videos. Thank you for the content! You make adorable ceramics
This came up on my recommended and I just want to say...wow, I am in awe of your craftsmanship! Your videos and work are just magical and perfectly soothing. Thank you so, so much! 🤍
The way she cleans after each step and keeps that area so clean🥰
this is the only video that's over 20 minutes that I watch without getting bored
Do not worry if its too long. I'm a perfectionist and i always look for every detail, every single one, and you having the time to show your whole process helps alot. Thank you so much😊😊
you can tell that you make your ceramics with love and it's such a calming process to watch
Recently I've been very stressed. This has really helped with it. It's very calming and relaxing. Something I can fall asleep to. :)
The process is so soothing to watch 💗💗 Love your work . Hope I can get one for myself someday . Also really want to try hands on clay art someday .
Thank you for liking my work:)
This is so pure that help on my depression crisis! Thank you from the bottom of my heart 🐰❤️
Man, watching this makes me want to glaze things. I miss my highschool Art 3 class T_T it was so fun glazing things! Honestly, I just want to work with clay in general again because of this video. Everything is so relaxing!
I already wanted one and seeing the whole process is making me want one even more. Very soon!
This is so calming and satisfying I can’t 🥺☁️🦋
I love these longer videos!! please keep posting them!! I was taking a study break, and watching the whole process was so therapeutic
I appreciate so much this kind of videos, peaceful ...not non stop blabla which give you headaches ...
I love your work, this is so cute. I'm into plants this days I would love to have some pots like these
Gigi and all of them are stunning and I love the long videos keep everything in I love watching the process!
Great video about the process! And definitely was spot on how clay reacts to your mindset in that moment. ❤️ Super cute design too! 😍
i had a smile on my face the minute you started working the clay. I love ceramics, it brings me such joy to work with my hands ! Thank you for your videos they're such a breath of fresh air for me
this video so relaxing!! i'm amazed by how patient, delicate and dedicate you are. thank you for sharing your process with us!
I’ve been doing pottery classes lately and you have been super inspiring, thank you!
Caramic + lofi music = Whisper of the heart
I thought I was going to be bored of watching somebody else craft for 20 minutes. I wasn't! I enjoyed seeing the full process so I can better myself as a beginner in this art. Thank you!
aaawww i love your videos!!! you take care of your pots and clay as little children!!! so sweet!!! bless you!!!
I decided to learn this art soon and started searching for ideas and inspiration.I love everything abt your chanel. New subscriber 💕
I should be doing school but I found myself here, 100 times better tho. This was so calming, just what I needed
Wow every cell in my body needed this is a way that I didn’t even know. Thank you for making and sharing it. So soothing.
Wow! You are a gem! I have not been sleeping well and watching this video relaxed me so much. Beautiful aesthetic and calming sounds.
I find it so interesting and entertaining, although I get why you were insecure about sharing the whole process. Thank you for sharing!! Loved it!

This process is so full of emotions & i hope Gigi is happy with her owner 🤍🤍
Wow, i do really respect you and others who do this for their small business. Really it takes a lot of patience, passion, and time. Hope everything goes well with your plan and above all i hope you’re happy while reading this.
This is so calming, I want to try pottery now!
Also you should make a Totoro shaped pot! I think that would be very cute 😊
You really inspire and relax me. Also, I love keeping succulents, there are a lot of times that its actually better to have the inside part unglazed.
I have a fever and am sleep deprived but you are as close to an earth bender as we’ll ever see in our world and that thought is really getting me through the night
I'm a first time watcher. I support my local potters, and I've never seen the full process just the finished product. You seem so genuine and sweet, and your skill is unparalleled. Thank you for making this, I can't wait to see more ❤
honestly, your work is mind-blowing and i love how you take care of each aspect.
a tip that you didn't ask for but: if you are insecure about the duration of the video, you can try fast forwarding some parts of the video to shorten the length.
me: aw this is adorable :D
looks at her shop: *daaaaaaaang she makin the bag*
Hats off to your patience !!
The trim is my favorite part. I love how you put your initials. Beautiful work.
when you propagate too many plants and dont have enough pots to hold them lol

This was a really relaxing and informative video, me and my family and getting into ceramics and even bought one of those spinny thingies that I don't know the name of. This was a very helpful video, thank you so much for making it
The skinny thing is a "pottery wheel." Enjoy! It's so soothing!!
This might quite simply be the purest little bit of magic I've seen in a long time. Your passion really translated- thanks for sharing it :)
I can't believe I finally found the kind of ASMR I can actually enjoy. It was really calming and so so beautiful. Thank you.
I feel like this kind of content would do really well on Tiktok.
UA-cam makes me want to just go and do soooooo many things and I'm here for it even if I'm broke
u- u
This entire channel is so soothing
Thank you for sharing your process! I'm a beginner, so seeing how lovely your pieces turn out, and reading your advice, is really encouraging. 💙
if only I could afford a thousand dollar kiln. Sigh, maybe in retirement
Lots of local pottery classes come with access to a kiln, so check out your local arts centre or adult learning centre to see if they offer classes :)

Agree that "at home" is a bit misleading. I clicked because I thought it was a how-to. WHOOPS!
I have no where I could safely use a kiln in my apartment even if I bought one but there are locally potteries that will let me use theirs, they charge per pot.
I was on a 6 month course at a different studio at one point and I could use the kiln for any bits, even stuff not made in class, during that time also.
@@sidraahmad7806 my dude, the nearest one is like 2 hours away ): I would if I could. While i do have air dry clay ,I prefer the latter. I wish I could go back to uni and borrow their kilns again.
I'm here for the pottery and stayed for the unintentional asmr
It makes me so joyful to see you clean often. I am not a potter and have never really worked much with clay but even the little exposure I have reminds me of all the dirty, clayed up wheels and studios I have seen!
I could watch thes videos all day :) They are so calming!
I have ADHD and it’s usually very hard for me to concentrate on things like this with no talking. To my surprise I watched this entire video completely amazed! You are so talented! Can’t wait to see more videos from you! The pets are so cute. 💕💕
I’m going to buy one of these and it better be at least $100. This is such skill!
