Considering what happened to the Phantom later, it is kind of ironic to see that the mob was specifically added to be annoying got much less condemn than Phantom.
Squids and Octopi don't have a skeletal structure, besides their teeth, so the bones in the nether can't be from the ghasts if they are a type of squid/octopi.
Also for in with the group of people it could be the ancient players theory people have and also the many groups one that was made. So maybe like a desert civilization who was into potions realized the potential, put one in and found out it worked and so put more and more in as a farming technique, soon they all somehow died out but the portal closed leaving the ghasts who were in the nether stuck and the ones who were in the overworld eventually died out but their offspring survived and became the creepers.
@@Faberistry The fireballs are just much harder to knock back which makes it a lot more challenging especially when you’re first going to the nether on a Minecraft world

Crying when said is more of a human thing. Many animals do still cry, but for other reasons. Anyways, illagers are simply copycats of the ancients, and there is no evidence that they created us.
The momment that the theory falls apart 5:48 The ghasts are likely just regular animals, especially considering there are literaly baby ghasts in Minecraft Dungeons. The ghast is VERY clearly not related to the creeper. Us and an octopus both have eyes, but we are seperated by hundereds of millions of years, It doesn't mean anything. So they mildly resemble squid, but literaly nothing other than the underside of them resembles a squid. @@Faberistry Yes, according to the mobestiary, or so I've heard... For example, the TNT is probably from experimentation by the ancient builders, And I'm inclined to believe The bones may have been repurposed from a dead mob, likely a pig or something... You know because of the out of universe origin for the creeper with notch accidentally reversing the values on the pig model... I'm personally more inclined to the theory that creepers are a moss monster that explode to spread their spores. With the added detail that as the spores grow into new creepers, they use the bones of nearby dead mobs as structure. The ancient builders would then come across this Moss monster and experiment on it placing a block of TNT inside of it... Likely to be used as a weapon In wars either against other tribes of ancient builders, or the invading enderman. Who in another book about Minecraft game design and lore are stated to have the goal of bringing about the downfall of all dimensions. The end portals and strongholds were likely how they brought vast armies to the overworld. The enderman would booby trap these portals to their home dimension by making them send anyone who went in through the top to the main end Island where they would be trapped and destroyed by a giant flying fire-breathing robot designed to look somewhat natural, so anyone who saw it would assume it was just a creature native to the end... Hence the "is it a plane" achievement you get by looking at the ender Dragon with a spyglass... Meanwhile, the enderman would be able to get large numbers of their soldiers back home entering the bottom through use of a piston. Which would teleport them to the relative coordinates of the stronghold in the End, where they likely had a base for their military. The ancient builders would eventually catch on to this, launch a counter invasion into the end, Find and destroy The bases connecting to the underside of the end portals, And just for good measure destroy most of the islands. They stood on just to make it even harder for the enemy to rebuild. Any ancient builders who survived this would go on to hunt and destroy all but one of the robot dragons hence The dragonheads on the end ships. Either that or they destroy all of them but fail to destroy one of the eggs that allowed them to respawn. Which the enderman managed to get a hold of and use the end crystals to respond and protect "her". The ancient builders who remained in the Overworld would destroy the Pistons and build a pool of lava underneath the end portal to further inhibit the Enderman army. Aside from the bones thing, The majority of your theory holds up, especially considering there was a glitch in earlier versions of Minecraft where squids would Spawn in the sky and just sort of levitate... Alternatively, It could have been the enderman who experimented on the creepers and put the TNT in there, which would actually make more sense considering The whole bring about the downfall of all dimensions by removing block's critical to the stability of the dimension thing... I don't think many people like the phantoms...
In the Ghast's defense, the sound design is a lot more interesting.
My theory is that the ghasts either feed off, or are spawned from, the souls within the soulsand.
