Kinda makes it sad cause if you think about it. Since Debase is a corrupted mob that means he's in constant pain because of his Neverending hunger. Omen deleting the world probably put Debase to rest hence the last message "Rest easy Debase" because he's deleting the world and deleting Debase. Ending Debase's pain of endless hunger because he's corrupted.
The plot twist in the end is actually so wholesome, theyre just 2 characters confused, scared, misunderstood both seeing as each other as a threat to them selves but in reality theyre just trying to survive and fight for theyre life, making them do things that will harm the other, but in the end they finally understood each other and realize the real enemies are them selves and ending it with a sorry and omen deletinghis world CRAZYY
Well I don’t want to be that one person who’s like, “ermm actually 🤓” . However, debase had endless hunger and it was painful for the creature so Omen wanted to put it out of its misery, that’s why Debase said thank you at the end, it’s infinite hunger would be over.
Genuinely love this story, it wasn’t a haunted game or some vendetta stricken friend or anything like that, it was about a kid who was scared of this terrifying and unknown entity who turned out to be just as scared of the kid. I thought something was up when I saw the two finally encountered each other. Instead of De chasing him or roaring, it was the opposite, infact Debase almost seems to instantly teleport away from Omen, like it didn’t expect to come face to face with him so suddenly.
Considering the mob looks like a steve it really reminded me of how 2 players would interact with each other if they thought the other person was a monster.
Is it bad that I kind of wanted them to like have picnic dinners or something at the end like: Hey come visit my tunnel and see what we can both do type thing.

Honestly. I haven't seen an ARG where the player gets angry and tries to kill the monster. Though this ending did leave a smile on my face. It got me hyped in the first half because I would of done the same thing. Throwing care into the wind and facing the thing that scares me with it all on the line. Kind of like the cave dweller mods that kept me scared of caves till I learned that I had to accept the risk. And if a supposed cave dweller claimed the life of my dog? Its wraps for them, I don't care what I have to do I would make it pay. Also what strikes me off is the fact that the player just didn't decide to farm at all, I mean we see he has bread but we dont know if he got that through looting dungeons or villages or if he did have a farm. Also the design of the creature is pretty cool, Being a mix between an ender man and steve, Funnily enough we see an Enderman through out the series which means this creature didn't want to harm the Enderman since it kind of looked like him and by extension probably didn't want to harm the player either for the same reasons. Personally I would love to see this creature actually get adapted into a mod for minecraft.
This is one of those horror story types that I love, the feeling of isolation and lonliness, the fact it was supposed to be horror that turned to the monster being peaceful and as afraid as omen, the fact they both wanted to be peacefully, the ending genuily made me cry- ❤
I agree. This made me tearful as well a lot of good messages intertwined with a hopeful ending. That scared child is in all of us no matter the appearance, sometimes you just got to open your eyes to see it.
This is an amazing story. A kid learning to open his eyes. To see people for who they really are, to get rid of a fear. Truly amazing and I want more stories like this.

I do like how the two entities never interacted after everything was cleared up. They never saw each other face to face cause they didn't need to. They understood, and that's all they needed.
They were literally face-to-face at 16:03. If you had said "They didn't meet face-to-face", it would have carried the "after everything was cleared up" part, but just saying never is a firm declaration.
imagine how scared debase was to be about to turn a corner while stalking the mysterious entity in its house, only for the entity to come around and run up to him. i honestly feel like debase had it worse than omen because omen magically appeared, was eating the same food he would eat, and going down near where he lived. not to mention grabbing some food on the floor only for a weird sound to play and the floor be swept out from under him, a trap that you dont know the workings of being sprung on you suddenly must of been horrifying because debase didnt know if he was in danger or not. ontop of that omen can literally die and come back, debase hiding while observing omen makes sense because he just died from a massive fall but reappears from his death location just fine and wandering around debases home. having a being like omen who aside from all of this even has a thing above his head with two words that dont make sense from the perspective of debase makes him seem like a powerful threat who could of decided to attack at any moment
Probably would've had a better time with me. I'd notice relatable behaviors like the need for food, and realize the creatures goals are simple and necessary for its survival, not malevolent.

Yes because its not his fault its the same thing with the Jurassic world franchise they are saying carnivores are villains because they have to kill to survive Debase is just one of the 4 carnivores that exist in his world he is not a villain ( by carnivores i mean who acutally eat kill other animals as food)

I was playing Minecraft for the first time in months and was starting to make a mining tunnel today. I heard a strange sound, but just shrugged it off until I heard something even louder after some time has passed. I heard a very deep growl like sound, almost like that of a zombie but a lot deeper and a weird glitch/buzzing like sound followed shortly after... Needless to say, I booked it out of the game for the rest of the night. 😅😂

Thinking back I now remember that zombies do have both a higher pitched sounding growl that reminds me of gurgling water in your throat and that they do have a deeper one as well. I forgot about the deeper sounding one, but I still find it so strange and creepy that the glitched/buzzing like sound followed exactly after the growl. I have heard the glitched/buzzing sound in the past as well, but I guess it freaked me out a lot more this time because of the growl at the start.
@@nighthowler5590 What version? If it's 1.16 or above then mc added a really creepy "hmmmmmm" and a growl type of sound. Ik what you're talking about it was startling at first, but it got annoying so I just installed no ambience to remove all of the cave sounds.
Super cool! and if you look closely, in the moment where debase and omen see each other in the tunnel, debase runs away too, showing hes just as scared as Omen.
What amazed me that this story about Kid named Omen, was confused and scared but became brave enough to hunt for Debased but the fact he's collecting Redstone contraptions shows how this Kid is very intelligent and Smart, this kids just amazed me how he investigates, until he finds out the truth and found the answer by his sibling (or friend) Greg, that's where he was just scared and Debase was too, showing how this Entity is kind and sympathetic and ended in a wholesome ending. Such an amazing ARG (if it actually is)
Your videos are honestly so good. First time I actually felt something besides fear and intrigue during an arg too, Omen did a great job setting up this whole story
But it wasn't supposed to exist. If a programming bug could talk and be sympathetic, would you release the game? It's a dilemma, but sometimes you gotta do what you must.
This was geniunely quite a good story, I really love how the creature ended up not being evil at all but simply another being scared and trying it's best to survive. Omen did an awesome job with this ARG, it was simple but sweet and even taught the viewer something important; be aware of how others feel, believe it or not, it might be less sadistic then you thought. By the way, Render did a good job in explaining and narrating this story, so probs to Render for both sharing, giving more well-deserved attention, and narrating this ARG! :D
Really good video, i really like the music you use. In this video there is Poe, on other video there is the intro of severance that work really well. I also noticed that you presented the video in a different order than when it came out to make it more "epic" and easy to follow. So yeah, keep your video like this !

This is the first time I see an ARG or similar have a wholesome and happy ending, it usually ends in a sad, scary or confusing ending, but this is just different, just two characters being confused about each others existence.
at first i was scared of debase, but at the end i teared up because debase and omen was both afraid of eachother and had a simple misunderstand. knowing noone will see debase ever again is just sad

6:20 that’s an actual feature. It was used to mark the stronghold in the early days! Also, the stronghold achievement wasn’t added until the texture update and it is definitely before that Edit: it also has to be after the world of color update, for it is not the REALLY old textures
I feel like when they both came face to face in the tunnels that Debase watched Omen run frantically and block himself up after he teleported away. Maybe he started to figure it out too

I like ARGs that subvert from horror in favor of telling a proper story. This reminds me of a old Minecraft skit I watched a long time ago about a guy getting stuck on a island where he meets a old man who he thinks is crazy and trying to kill him. Near the end he enters the old mans house and ends up killing him before discovering journals that reveals the old man was helping him survive without revealing himself. It's stuck with me after all these years and I would love to rewatch it.
just imagine something joining your world, you can hear it talking, it blocks off your builds, it steals the remains of your food. wouldn't that be scary? thats what debase felt.
Bit of a sad ending, basically Debase was starving to death due to insane calorie requirements (teleporting must cost a lot of hunger for a mob that isn't a full Enderman), and deleting the world was really the only way to end its suffering.
This is one of the scariest, sad and heartbreaking videos I have ever watched on youtube. A creature that doesn't exist, A kid wanting to play Minecraft. Was scared of each other. But wanted to understand each other's, It's sad but. This just means Debase just wanted to have a peaceful world. He doesn't care if he's corrupted or not. He is always lonely so he got scared of omen. For me, I think debate understood that doggo was omen's friend and didn't kill him. Debase returned him because he knew omen valued doggo. Damn, if not for the dates i wouldn't even notice that these ARGs are created by you, this is some peak quality. The stories, technical executions,all of the details, fully belivable analysis videos... Everyone involved in creation of them did a really good job. These are legit one of the best videos of this type i ever watched. Figuring out that it's "artificually made" ruins immersion a litte bit, but again, it's pretty hard to notice.Anyways, i hope you continue doing these even cooler!

i have a theory. maybe debase ate every mob in the world but is still hungry and he has started transforming into the things he ate. his head is steve (player) mixed with a dog his arms is enderman and his torso is spider and creeper?
Production quality and editing on this video was pretty good, pulled me in despite having watched a few dozen of these short minecraft horror stories today.
How did I fall in love with a creepy pasta story. This is genuinely a great story and a great twist. I only hope my own series can live up to its greatness.
I love this series just because it's a breath of fresh air. So many horror webseries are about other worldly deities or corrupted malicious entities but this one isn't. It's very wholesome cuz the entity is not evil or bad. I like it

Thinking back I now remember that zombies do have both a higher pitched sounding growl that reminds me of gurgling water in your throat and that they do have a deeper one as well. I forgot about the deeper sounding one, but I still find it so strange and creepy that the glitched/buzzing like sound followed exactly after the growl. I have heard the glitched/buzzing sound in the past as well, but I guess it freaked me out a lot more this time because of the growl at the start.
@@nighthowler5590 What version? If it's 1.16 or above then mc added a really creepy "hmmmmmm" and a growl type of sound. Ik what you're talking about it was startling at first, but it got annoying so I just installed no ambience to remove all of the cave sounds.

What amazed me that this story about Kid named Omen, was confused and scared but became brave enough to hunt for Debased but the fact he's collecting Redstone contraptions shows how this Kid is very intelligent and Smart, this kids just amazed me how he investigates, until he finds out the truth and found the answer by his sibling (or friend) Greg, that's where he was just scared and Debase was too, showing how this Entity is kind and sympathetic and ended in a wholesome ending. Such an amazing ARG (if it actually is)

This was geniunely quite a good story, I really love how the creature ended up not being evil at all but simply another being scared and trying it's best to survive. Omen did an awesome job with this ARG, it was simple but sweet and even taught the viewer something important; be aware of how others feel, believe it or not, it might be less sadistic then you thought. By the way, Render did a good job in explaining and narrating this story, so probs to Render for both sharing, giving more well-deserved attention, and narrating this ARG! :D

This is a story just ends up where two scary boys are just trying to live in peace, that end up hurting each other without realizing that each others perceptive. also love you content, its scary but you have a knack for story telling

I feel like when they both came face to face in the tunnels that Debase watched Omen run frantically and block himself up after he teleported away. Maybe he started to figure it out too

I like ARGs that subvert from horror in favor of telling a proper story. This reminds me of a old Minecraft skit I watched a long time ago about a guy getting stuck on a island where he meets a old man who he thinks is crazy and trying to kill him. Near the end he enters the old mans house and ends up killing him before discovering journals that reveals the old man was helping him survive without revealing himself. It's stuck with me after all these years and I would love to rewatch it.

Bit of a sad ending, basically Debase was starving to death due to insane calorie requirements (teleporting must cost a lot of hunger for a mob that isn't a full Enderman), and deleting the world was really the only way to end its suffering.

This is one of the scariest, sad and heartbreaking videos I have ever watched on youtube. A creature that doesn't exist, A kid wanting to play Minecraft. Was scared of each other. But wanted to understand each other's, It's sad but. This just means Debase just wanted to have a peaceful world. He doesn't care if he's corrupted or not. He is always lonely so he got scared of omen. For me, I think debate understood that doggo was omen's friend and didn't kill him. Debase returned him because he knew omen valued doggo. Have a beautiful life, Debase.

How did I fall in love with a creepy pasta story. This is genuinely a great story and a great twist. I only hope my own series can live up to its greatness.
I love this series just because it's a breath of fresh air. So many horror webseries are about other worldly deities or corrupted malicious entities but this one isn't. It's very wholesome cuz the entity is not evil or bad. I like it
