I have play this game it was awesome
Bro play gta 4 it’s a pretty sick game
Can’t wait to see the rest of you playing this great game. I’ve watched Markimoo and others play it when it was released, I’m excited to see your reactions through this playthrough. 🤠🥰
I’m so excited for the rest of your live streams, so excited for your actual review video when you finish the game.
You will remember Arthur Morgan & John Marston forever now after finishing both Red Dead games.
This game still looks so damn good graphically 5 years later
The crazy part is it's still pretty taxing on PC hardware nowadays. I Played through my first time on an Xbox One. Had an amazing time, went back after playing on PC for a few years and I just couldn't. The PS5 and my new PC make it look absolutely amazing on 2k and 4k.
@@alteredcarnate3445pc you can use mods though although they’re really hard to do like the Micah mod.
@@alteredcarnate3445I'm running a ddr3 motherboard with a 960 Ti with an amd 8350 and it runs perfect for an old pc like mine.
@@yoshpeters3079not hard at all , it's basically just download a bunch of stuff and put it on the main RDR2 folder where RDR2.exe is located , it's extremely easy actually and can make the game way more fun .... Thats why i play it on PC
@@alteredcarnate3445 the crazy thing is that its not taxing on PC I can get 112fps and my rig isnt that powerful. Its just a well optimized game, though wouldn't want to play it on PS5.
Can we appreciate how the act man fills us up with his warm, sticky content?
Yes king 😍😍😍

The piece that kicks in at 2:36 is one of my all-time favorites from any video game score. I remember how excited my brothers and I were for this game, and when it came out and I watched my brother play this opening. Our minds were blown by how good the snow looked as it moved beneath Arthur's feet. That was an unreal night.
Listen to the Man with the Harmonica theme from Once Upon a Time in the West - Ennio Morricone. 1968. Thank me later.
Do you know how its called
The ost is a masterpiece. One of my favorite moments was when "The course of true love" started playing when riding back through the fields of Rhodes and the sun was setting. Beautiful game that really takes it time with little moments that become very memorable.
RDR2 has such a good score, I routinely listen to it
@@AssClapCowboythat song always reminds me of muse now 😂
Rdr2 is a modern art masterpiece. Just walking around Saint Denis at night and seeing what happens - so engrossing in the RPG aspect. No other game make you feel like you're playing in a movie quite like red dead 2. The comment about being able to erase your memory and playing for the first time - spot on.
I cannot emphasize how crucial the side missions are to the story a lot of them were cut from the main story to reduce playtime but they're fun as well as giving a lot of insights into the character of Arthur
were they really?
Theres also optional parts of the main story that add a lot of depth
@Garland846 what if you don't do them?
@@goodmoney2998 well you miss them and the experience is much lesser for it... the added character context makes the story wayy better
facts
"I feel like Micah is everyone's favorite character" aged like milk in the Texas summer sun
Having it be a prequel makes it so much cooler. My sister only played 2. So when she played 1 she had so much more context and was more invested in the villains.
I love how much detail is in this game from mud prints being left by your horse to john and Arthur's deadeye having a difrent sound effect
True, too bad there was so much crunch for people making the game though
it's always nice when you jus be like "what the fuck, you could do that??"
Unfortunately I've spoiled myself the entire story, but I still have so much fun playing through it despite knowing everything that'll happen. I hope you have a great time.
I knew what happened at the end beforehand, yet I still was crying at the end.
Memes spoiled the ending for me
I have a plan zanny, I just need 6 hours worth of redfall gameplay between you and I so we can both make fantastic videos making fun of it!
LOL
“I’ve been told I will cry at some point we shall see”
Came here to check again after the last playthrough.
Same
He did indeed cry
I was sat and watched the live stream during his first play through. I never sit through live streams so this was a first for me! All I can say is, Act man won’t cry.
Too many people in the chat are constantly posting spoilers before shit happens, people complain and demand Act man play the game their way instead of letting him organically discover or play his way. And overall, the chat is such a huge distraction.
Ahhh well I haven't been spoiled on anything! Any spoilers people post I instantly do not believe. But don't worry, I'll experience the game organically and naturally!
@@TheActMan love to hear that dude. I just hope you get the best and most genuine experience that the rest of us got. I feared the live chat would taint your experience. But I’ll see you tomorrow morning!
@@TheActManI believe any spoilers I see
@@TheActManMaybe an idea just to play with no chat on and look only when you need it?
Delayed chat and moderators can fix it@@NickDaGamer1998
Seeing him play this game for the first time. Reminds me of how much fun I had on my first playthrough. Love this game! I even have all achievements too! ❤
I’m so happy the act man is finally playing and appreciating the beauty of this game for the first time. Enjoy the ride partner!
If you look at the subtitles at 6:00, that's the guy that you spared in the horse barn mocking you. He wouldn't appear there if you killed him before. This game has so many of these small attention to details it's insane
This game is made with so much love, care and passion. In a time when every game is rushed and broken this game is a blessing from the lord
I feel the same about Elden Ring.
Yeah it’s made with love and passion but they can’t even fix John and the online sucks
And there’s so many plot holes and gliches
You can really tell the devs really wanted to make this game with passion.
@@XIXRayderXIX yeah man by making so many plot holes and abandoning it
@@DeadX2 🤡
Idk how you’ve waited this long. I just happy to watch someone experience this masterpiece for the first time!
I'm so glad you decided to stream this whole thing.
This game is a masterpiece.
Loved how they added a lot more different climate types it’s a massive step up from the first rdr from snowy mountains to great forests and arid plains and murky swamps they honestly nailed it
0:03 Your fine I got an ad at the start 🤣
Without going into too heavy spoilers, the line “I’m afraid” said by one of the characters absolutely broke my heart. Those who played know what scene I’m talking about.
Been a while since I played this but I still remember that.
I mean isn't everyone when they reach that point? Even though for most of us it's far off we can all relate to that statement.
"I ain't changed. I'm still a bad man..."
I was surprised you didn’t play this game after making the Rdr1 is a masterpiece video
But now I’m glad you did
Yeah I have a bad habit of not playing or reviewing sequels for a long time because reviews take a long time and after I'm done I want to focus on something else. But now we are here!!
Red Dead Redemption 2 is an absolute masterpiece, the story is one of the most powerful ones I have ever seen in a game, Arthur Morgan is the best protagonist created by Rockstar Games, he has so much depth, you really feel like your on the journey with him throughout the game, the open world, man you could spend hours upon hours exploring the gorgeous world, no game since has come close to it in my opinion, even 4 years on the game still is a joy to play, Rockstar Games best game and my personal favorite game of all time, a timeless classic 👏👏👏👏
I love it because it is THE definitive movie western experience, everything you'd ever seen in a stereotypical western, you can do it. Rob people, find treasure, go hunting and fishing, robbing trains and carriages, play poker and other games, do a lot with lassos including tying people to train tracks, revolver duels, dynamite stuff, breaking people out of jail, bounty hunting. It's perfect. If it was a permanent VR machine, I'd say plug me in there for 5 years lol. Just riding and chilling in nature is pure therapy after a long day at work.
I have been anticipating Act Man to play Rdr2 for years. I’m so glad to be here to see you play it for the first time!
I’m so proud to have been there for the livestream
plenty more to look forward to in the future! Thanks for tuning in
@@TheActMan no problem act man. It was my moral obligation
One of the greatest story ever told not just in a video game but ALL of fiction and I mean it. You will fall in love with this game.
It’s not lol
I’m with you 1000%
Not a great story or plot bro....
Story sucked one more job one more job cliche generic story
@@Saurabh-cy4pw story didnt suck its just overated af lol and game only gets good till chapter 3
@@DeadX2 so what the fuck did I say huh? I am talking about the story here.
I’m also playing rdr2 for the first time right now, man what an experience. It’s been great so far
I'm new to your channel. Thanks for doing a playthrough on this game. Legit the best story in a game I've ever played. Its grippy, brotha. Beat it five times. Nothing hits as good as the first, ya feel? Here for the journey. Once again, thanks.
1st game: perfect blend of simulation and fun game play mechanics (minus the weird person physics that rockstar were putting into their games at the time like gta iv)
2nd game: more of a chore grind simulator that has pretty visuals. No background music that I can remember. Oh and there's also fishing which was done really well actually.
I've been scrolling for a while and you're the first comment that echoes my opinion of the game
The amount of detail in this game is amazing. I recommend just going out on the country side and find things without doing any of the story missions. Certain side missions and stranger encounters only occur at night and are easily to miss. Have fun with the best game ever!
i hope this game never gets lost to time and no one forgets it because rdr2 has the best story line in any game, such good adventure and great characters. although god of war is a great game rdr2 should have won GOTY back in 2018 infact it was game of the decade. rdr2 is one of the best games of all time
The acting male man finally playing red dead redemption 2 brings a tear in my eye
13:09 This reminds me of how much different Disney movies used to be when I was growing up. There was some really dark shit like this scene in The Lion King and many scenes in The Brave Little Toaster. I LOVE The Brave Little Toaster. I’m 34 years old and not ashamed to say that at all haha. That movie is amazing.
I feel like RDR2 is like a contraster to how much effort some other game companies put into there games when you compare it to RDR2 its night and day
This game inspired my whole studio to base its software investments into what I could best capture and produce performances with as an indie and really shaped my game dev output for the better.
One of the greatest games. It came out right around when my mother passed away, so I took that week off of work and just played the shit out of it to keep from thinking about it too much. Always holds a special place in my heart.
Yes! Something to watch when i make dinner later tonight. Thank you act man for always coming through in a pinch ❤️. Hope you had a wonderful xmis and new years! 🎉
I did! Hope you had a Merry Christmas too
I'll never forget when Arthur said, "Now I am the Red Dead Redemption 2." I cried and pissed intensely. One of the greatest games ever made.
Love the ending when Mizu from Blue Eye Samurai comes and helps Arthur defeat Micah and both Arthur & Mizu fall in love and move to Japan to open a Noodle Shop.
Still waiting on the "Why Pay Day 3 is so bad" video...
Bad!?*
nice video and finaly you did it rdr2 YES
Yessss
“I’m getting the vibe that Micah is everyone’s favorite character” ☠️
I really love that this man has a channel all about video games, but he doesn’t play triple A games until six years after they release. It’s like having a tv show review channel and being like “I watched Cheers” while Breaking Bad is on its fifth season
I can’t believe how long it took you to play such a masterpiece!!!!
Ikr. But ayy atleast he finally did
I'm so glad Act Man decided to stream the whole playthrough. Rdr2 is one of those legendary titles. I'll be tuned in every Saturday
Fun fact, Arthur actually canonically beats Tommy so hard he gives him brain damage
Happy new year Cowboy Man! Thanks for the years of good times on here, looking forward to whatever you have planned this year. With love from England ❤
About damn time.
We should get him to play Omori
@@CrayonEater2003 No
@@ArmadilloJohnYES.
@@CrayonEater2003 It’s a good game on its own right but it’s definitely not something Act Man would play.
RDR2 is one of the best games of all time. I know why GoW got GOTY that year, and i love GOW 2018 a ton, but RDR2 was unbelievably amazing and iconic, easily my GoTY for 2018 and of that entire generation really
It's only flaw is that R* stopped working at Red Red Online right when RD:O turned a corner and was hitting its stride. The single player is perfect
The playthrough we've all been waiting for! Would love to see a Ghost of Tsushima playthrough when RDR2 is wrapped up.
Another fantastic game
Act man where’s the apology video for the payday 3 video?
Hate to break it to you, you ain't getting one.
Oh look, the Payday 3 man returns
Same my dude. For the first time I also started to play the game, couple days ago. It is incredible masterpiece
I love the genuine startled look on his face in the intro. "Uh oh UA-cam gods gonna clip this one out of context."
Best game made of all time.
After several years of this channel, he finally talks about Red Dead Redemption 2. *Worth the wait, Act Man.*
"This is the cowboy man here"
Less than 4 seconds in, _two blatant gun safety violations._
(Aimed gun at his own head, finger on the trigger throughout. Do not put finger on trigger unless intending to shoot, and do not aim at anything you don't intend to shoot. Also it doesn't matter if it's a fake gun. Fake guns should be treated as real ones to keep from getting careless with real ones.)
I’ve been waiting for this video for 5 years, didn’t disappoint
Fun fact my grandpa had an encounter with an actual grizzly that he described as the legendary bear in the game that u hunt. While my grandpa was hunting deer alone and all the grizzly did was stare at my grandpa. Grandpa was using a rifle filled with deer bullets , he said he did have three or four bear shot but he knew he wasn’t going to be fast enough to put the bear shot so he just watched the grizzly as it was back. luckily the grizzly decided to walk away. Now the legendary bear mission is one of my top three missions in the game of all time
First comment
Damnnnn
Once the dust has settled, a comparison between the 2 games soundtracks would be great.
Good editing on this video. Rdr2 makes for really good content. And it is a damn good game.
Isn't this the guy that gave mad props to a game that was full of bugs because they invited him out to their cozy launch party..?
Man the best part is when Arthur says: “its red dead redemption time” and red dead’s the whole camp
I’m already laughing and the intro hasn’t even ended yet😂
Great video man! So I can't wait for Why was Payday 3 so bad!
i dont even wish i could wipe my memory of rdr2, I wish I could forget red dead entirely and be lost in such a beautiful story
You guys grtting him to play it is what got me to play it and thank you its a beutiful game
21:02 that escelated quickly XD
no joke i just picked up this game this week on steam and i'm loving it so far
Arthur carrying John on is back is such a great metaphor for this whole game…
I love the lore of Jimmy Brooks and the strange man. How it can change depending on your choice to spare Jimmy or not.
There simply arent enough games where you can mosey on into an old western town, gamble, upset some ruffians, and then have a gun duel outside the bar, come back days later and people are talking about it.
As I am currently playing through this game for like the 4th time, I tab out to have a break and see this upload. Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did.
How to piss off every gun nerd in 10 seconds and then immediately make them forget everything and watch the funny cowboy game
"Saying you want to wipe your memory to experience it again is the best compliment you can give a game"
Outer Wilds fans: Yes. Yes it is.
I just played Red Dead II this year, from start to finish, and I absolutely loved it. Hope you’ll enjoy it too Cowboy Man!
I won't spoil anything but please play sister Cauldron's missions. It is worth it if you want to see one of the best cutscenes ever in terms of facial expression and meaning.
I didn’t get into RDR2 when it first came out, but our bass guitarist loved it. I didn’t give it another chance until he’d passed from cancer and I truly regret the missed opportunities and wasted time. RIP Bob 🤘🤘
i'll play it along side act man, to experience it for the first time same as you!! so exciting!
My favorite game of all time. I only wish my videogame-hating father, who loves westerns and a good story, could see how beautifully written and crafted a game can be. Maybe one day, when he’s bed-ridden to hospice care, I can make the last 120 hours of his life happy and sad again while he watches me play through the game once more.
No way! Literally watched your Red Dead Redemption 1 video for the first time last night, what are the odds??
6:00 that's actually the guy you just saved, you can hear him saying "You should have killed me when you had the chance"
i am so jealous of the fact that you get to enjoy this masterpiece for the first time 😥
Not even a SECOND of the video and it's already entertaining
0:23 Lol ‘dementia’ in my 60’s will be so refreshing
I love how RDR1's Soundtrack still fits RDR2 well.
I just bought this on steam deck and was just about to boot it up for the first time. Glad I stumbled upon the channel!
Came here for the cowboy voice, and I’m not disappointed, literal cartoon character shit, laugh everytime, lol
Hey Act Man, I love your videos and am so glad I found you back in 2016, I would love to see you review the Mass Effect trilogy in the future. You said the biggest praise you can give a game is saying you wish you could play it again for the first time, well all you have to do is look at any mass effect video and you will always see comments saying just that. It is a truly magical series which in my opinion is the best rpg game series we have ever gotten, bioware was truly on their a game and it is just a shame that EA were being dicks otherwise the games could've been better. Great video btw and am looking forward to all your future projects, you are truly a great UA-camr and love your content. Much love from down under mate.
"Gonna have to kill someone one of these times tho"
*Casually runs over 2 npcs with his horse while trying to catch jimmy brooks.*
How strange lol...I've been playing RDR2 this past couple weeks also. I've dabbled a bit in the past, but life got in the way. Finally, I'm about to go beyond where I've been in the past. Time to buckle up, it's just now starting to get crazy in St. Denis.
Started playing last year for my first time too after buying series x. I remember rdr1 being fun back in 2010 and I’ve been wanting to check out rdr2 just never had a console.
One of my all time favorite games. I’m excited to see the actman reaction to the whole story.
Fun fact, I'm actually playing my first playthrough alongside your streams. So far, I'm loving Grand Theft Horse 2
I've been playing video games since I was 7 years old. RDR 2 and Last of Us are probably the two best story games I've ever played
It's goddamn incredible how good this game still looks. If I had never heard of RDR and you showed me this gameplay, I'd assume it was a pretty new game.
