If you're wondering why this video took so long to post, it's because I was playing the game too much and I love Liberty and Freedom.

Both even use the same engine: Autodesk Stingray engine. Absolute glowup. I just realized he says it in the video, but I'm gonna list it anyway since you guys might have missed it or something idk.
Fun fact: extracting is purely an xp gain. As long as you complete the main objectives the spread of democracy is already done, extracting the soldiers is just a bonus just like in game
the fact that arrowhead delayed the mech suit update until after tien kwan was liberated because the factories were under attack is still extremely hilarious to me
@@goodtimesgivecancer1 they said they would be doing things both at their pace but also sometimes at the communities pace. So we're likely to see similar things like this happen every now and again.

I straight got all of the armor in the super store without spending a dollar... I bought the premium pass because I wanted to support the game. What a wild concept.
Crazy how when devs release a good game where you can get everything in it for free, people are more willing to buy and support them, a shocker for sure
The main ingredient which I think contributed most to the success of HD2 was the simple fact that the devs actually care about what they're making, and it shows.
Plus its all pve saving people from the sweat fest that most games have become now days. Plus you dont gotta worry about cheaters killing you. Most other games because they are so competitive have very toxic communities. But this game being only pve with all its features brings the whole community together. Its actually fun. @@TheBirb101
I think honestly its more that the higher ups at arrowhead care i think devs at most studios even big ones care about the game (343 for example) but the higher ups are the ones that dont care and only see $$$ and how to maximize profit
Totally its carefuly crafted reminiscent of L4D days and an amalgamation of the genre. it even still has an AI director for its hub-like openworld where you can tackle task freely in your own volition, so expect endless replayability.
The fact you can find premium currency in the maps is a HUGE breath of fresh air. My personal favorite is how the lighting dynamically changes on maps. On some planets it'll go from day to night mid mission.
Only thing I think you missed was that the epic musical score deserves it's own recognition. The drop music, the sound cues when spotted by enemies, the extraction music. It all makes you feel like you're in your own movie!
I loved that they had us liberate the planet where the mechs were being built, and as soon as we did it, we got the mechs. Incorporating these sorts of things in the ongoing story, the expanding lore that we get to help make, is truly awesome!
@@devkrat oh yeah definitely. even when things were "bad" i was still playing and having a blast. now that they finally fixed the balancing the game is absolutely peak again.
One of the great aspects of helldivers 2 is that sometimes you are the action star of the movie, and sometimes, well most of the time actually, you’re the unnamed extra that gets cut in half 15 seconds into a firefight with a 50 foot boss enemy
Unless you’re in an eradication mission and you have mortar sentries, EMS mortar sentries, auto cannon sentries, and rocket sentries. Then you’re literally the main character.
I love how if you lose all your lives but complete all objectives, it's still a mission success. You only lose the samples. it really helps sell the "mission above all else" feel of the game world.
Yeah I hated that the first game didn't work like this, dying at extraction after a long ass mission and getting no rewards was so shit and made no sense, given that the mission objective was finished and Helldivers are shown time and time again to be expendable. Was so happy to see they'd changed it for HD2. Honestly this game has exceeded every expectation I had for it by miles, they could've just remade the first game with new stuff added and I'd have been totally content with that but they've blown it out of the water
@@onepunchman4444This isn't made up, lmfao. While obviously the game cannot render all 40k player's Super Destroyers currently over a planet, the ones that the game *does* render can be seen using orbital strikes and hellpod call downs as players call them in. And whenever you're down on a planet and you actually look up, all four Super Destroyers of your squad will be in orbit. You can also see these Super Destroyers launching hellpods and orbital strikes as your allies call them in. Even more wild is that if you go out of bounds of the mission area, you can actually watch your own Super Destroyer fire artillery rounds at you to kill you for treason and abandoning the mission.
@@TheDennys21 GoW ragnarok, spiderman 2, totk, BG3, helldivers 2 (pre drama, we'll see if it stays on course or not), palworld, hollow knight, mario odyssey, vampire survivors, deep rock galactic, hades, inscryption, do I need to go on? Gaming isn't purely going down the toilet, you'd be an idiot to think so. Gaming is simultaneously the best and the worst its ever been. Games like totk/BG3/RDR2 weren't even possible 20 years ago, now they're possible and accessible to many game devs big and small. But in tandem with that, the industry has gotten too profit driven/shareholder pleasing focused rather than fun driven, leading to dogshit like escape from tarkov and MW3 remake.
Fun fact: As team building exercises during development, the team built, painted and played Warhammer 40K tabletop. That's why the Warhammer influence is so front facing even since HD1. The Termanids are based of 40K's Tyranids, the Hulks are based on Contemptor Dreadnaughts and the chainsaw bots have been heavily inspired by World Eaters. Then they layered the Halo and Starship Troopers flavor on top and now we have Helldivers.
Its fine when the devs do it they barely do it.....Its annoying as when "players" do it because they go on and on and on and on and on vomiting out god damned Starship Troopers reference after reference like god damned automorons going on and on about "doing their part" to the point that its nauseating
I really love how the introduced the the mechs to the game. Instead of just being a upsate(totally fine!) the devs made it so you had to defend the planet the mechs were on as a major order and AFTER we defended it, we got sick ass mechs. Really made it feel like we were rewarded for our blood and sweat
same, i do wonder what they would have done if we lost the planet? "Our fallen soldiers didnt die in vain they were part of our super secret order, keeping the bots busy on a decoy when. the mechs were being built on this other planet this whole time. stupid socialist bots"
Yeah, especially after the leaks I would assume most devs would just release a "might as well" update. But Arrowhead still managed to release it like a story which is great!

@@Maverekt just google what happened at that Afganistani airport when Amreicans were fleeing. Friendly fire of panicking troops is indeed more devastating than enemy attack.
Fun fact, the developers of Helldivers made another game called Magicka. It was a top-down game similar to HD1, where you played as wizards that could cast spells by combining elements in basically the exact same way you call in stratagems in Helldivers. Really cool to see them take and evolve older ideas for their new titles.
one of the best parts about the premium battle pass is you can buy it entirely with in game credits you can find in the missions you play. like holy shit
I knew nothing about Helldivers. So when I was curious about the first entry, I was honestly extremely shocked how these devs were able to make a COMPLETELY different style of game with such high quality. These guys are insane
The fun part is that it's not entirely out of their skillset, it's just more like the 3D-thirdperson aspect was new. They've been specializing in 4-player coop games since they started, with an emphasis on funny friendly-fire possibilities (or in the case of Gauntlet, it's more like there's an option to compete for loot).
A lil' bonus. T'was such a Novel concept how we got the Mech unlock: 'Helldivers, the science planet making the mechs is under attack! Stop them, so they could be finished!' And the moment the community completed that Galaxy event and defended the plane - mechs released to play for everyone.
I was there. I Fought and bled on Tien Kwan. I ran through icy crags as the sky rained meteors. For hours the battle raged. We called on every helldiver we could. Super Destroyers blotted out the sun. And when the morning came Tien Kwan was free.
It's funny as hell that the first 2 GOTY candidates for 2024 COMBINED is the same price as a base game from a AAA developer that's going to need 18 months additional work and 7 paid dlc minimum to even start working correctly.
I would love if HD2 won. I'm kinda tired when the "walking simulator" games(ahem all of Sony 1st party games) win all the time Yeah I know this is a PS exclusive that's also on steam like GOW2018
@@kwayke9 I don't mind paying for games. But spending 60 - 70 $ in a third world country is just ridiculous. The devs don't even enable region pricing so you are paying the full damn price

Wtf dude having a pc is a bug investment compare to Console And you forcing them to pay your subscription when they are not under your device That's fucking disgusting and outrageous even by EA & Activision standard combine
Can we take a moment to appreciate the absolutely incredible music in this game? Wilbert Roget II totally outdid himself this time. After making music for a bunch of Star Wars and Call of Duty games, he goes and drops the most *democratic* OST in history. The start of every drop feels like the intro to a movie, the amazing orchestral backing rising and falling with the action makes me feel so badass, and main theme is one of the best video game songs I've ever heard. Like there's no Red Alert without Frank Klepacki, no Doom without Mick Gordon, now there's no Helldivers without Wilbert Roget II!
Yeah, I’m constantly reminded how much I love the score. Completing objectives and starting extract are stuck in my head. The best one though, easily, is the track that plays when you deploy. Watching your character(s) plummet towards the surface with the heat creating a cone around the pod while those horns blast is fucking perfection. It never gets old.
I think too often there's a risk when making a "tongue in cheek" movie/game to make the score more whimsical, or for composers to not give it their all, but Wilbert played it 100% STRAIGHT and Wilbert COOKED. The second section of the main theme feels very similar to the music in Battlefield 1, which should say everything about just how straight the music is being played here. It just makes everything else so much more fun
I usually mute in game music for multiplayer/ coop and just play my own stuff on a browser but this is one of the only games I leave the music on and every time I launch to a planet the score makes me happy asf
We are only in March and there has already been multiple small studios reach over 100k copies sold on Steam. And the crazy part is none of them are predatory. Good job divers. We spoke with our wallets and the industry is listening! My life for Super Earth!
It's got that addictive combat-loop, plus a looting element, and lots of variety in maps/equipment/weapons. I'm reminded of that "30 seconds of fun" quote from Bungie all those years ago.
The most impressive detail in this game is that if you walk over your spent bullet casings on the ground they move and make sounds. I've never seen any other game do this especially in a game this chaotic.
One of the beautiful things about this is that I don't have to pay money for the premium pass, you can grind the super credits in game at just the cost of your time and patience as a player, I grinded out for 1000 SC and got the pass in about roughly 25 hours, and for that I would be willing to pay them the $10 just for the respect of letting players do this. This trend of Game Devs releasing a genuine product made with care and passion is really awesome and it shows what we've been missing for years, People who actually give a damn, Games made by gamers FOR Gamers.
It also makes people more willing to spend super credits and not just sit on them for months until new content comes. There were couple of armor sets that i liked that i bought, despite the fact we are soon getting new premium pass, but i know that i'll be able to grind out those extra 300-400 super credits over time. As result people would be more keen to support the developer with random purchases here and there, to save themselves time and not feel bad about giving developer 10$
@@lethauntic yeah but the good old days didnt have thousands of servers to upkeep. Microtransactions are needed for live service to continue, Helldivers have done it in a good way.
Damage numbers are great in certain RPGs and turnbased games (especially since it helps people optimize their class builds), but in an action game where there's already utter chaos going on, they just make the game even more overwhelming, maybe even migraine inducing at times.
It also feels great that you aren't pressured into unlocking things before the warbonds go away since they stick around forever. The Warbonds are the only "battlepass" I've ever felt good about buying with zero remorse.
Fun fact. You don’t have to spend money on them if you don’t want to. Super credits are of course earned in the free pass(about 750) and the remaining 250 can be found in missions in those places if interest dotted around the map

@@edwiinandresmosqueramarulandaIt's not 1 to 1 but more ships does equal more players. Just that if they showed exactly how many then the skies would be dark with how many people there are.
@monke12354 I wonder if it's slightly more than that as some planets you look out the window and it's pretty quiet with lots of ships, other planets there's enemy fire coming from the surface, ships exploding etc. it's definitely not 1 to 1 representative of actual players though.
Something also worth mentioning is the “weapon customization.” Idk exactly what to call it, but if you hold the reload button you can switch certain aspects of weapons like flashlights and zoom level. And with the machine gun stratagem you can change the fire rate, although I admittedly don’t know if that’s the case for other weapons in the game.
The thing I really enjoy is that you don’t need to spend money on the game to get the super credits or buy stuff from the super store. You can earn them in game, and fairly fast too if you got a friends group to play with. You want the new war bond? Save up for it, they aren’t timed so you can literally get it any time you save the super credits. I’ve got both of the premium bonds and didn’t spend a dime on the game. I love that about it. You can buy the credits if you want and don’t feel like sinking time to grind credits, or not. I love that. I wish more games did it that way.
This is the first game in a few years where I have to make myself NOT play it when I get home from work so I don't ignore stuff. It's so fun, been very happy with it and it's a joy with my friends.
Its also the closest we'll ever get to a 40k Imperial Guard game. Just think of the Helldivers as Tempesta Scions instead of normal guards, and its near perfect.
Corporations don't make fun games. Managers in suits design them to be "profitable" for the dumbest audience in the most manipulative way. Hoping to take no risks and please everyone with their bloated budgets. I'm not even talking about the live services. And they don't even notice or understand how they lose everything they had. Looking at Halo, Battlefield.. But at the same time CoD is still super popular and making billions, while stagnating and only getting worse. Or Fifa. So they still look at CoD/Fifa success, or even Fortnite/Apex, and don't understand why Halo is dead, but Helldivers made with a much smaller budget is a wide success, taking it's place.
From the moment I saw how aiming works with that trailing reticle I was in love. That alone makes the game 100% better than other shooters. It rewards control, patience and actually aiming instead of just pointing. Then of course there's the other stuff, like the stratagems, the support weapons, the utility backpacks. It was very reminiscent of the Division games, which I also liked primarily due to the shooting and combat tactics.
My favorite part is how all cosmetics are fitting with the art style and lore. No multi collored carnivalesque BS, no cat ears, no streammer/company sponsored content, etc. The game makes sure to stick to it's style and it's so beautiful! It remains authentic and is a breath of fresh air from the "fortnitezation" that's been consumming other games. I feel very happy to play a game that doesn't seem like a playable billboard
Well they’ve already said they’re open to crossovers so idk how well those crossovers will fit in with the current aesthetic. Maybe they can do it well who knows
@@Svoorhout85 certain crossovers will for sure fit the theme of the current game. Hopefully they don’t just do it with everyone like Fortnite. I’d like a dune crossover I think that’d be cool. 40k of course would be cool

I remember my first bio-titan experience. I had just barely gotten my second LMG and a small EAT rocket set to work with. My buddies drop me right into the thick of the fight. Our mission was to find that bio titan and find him a nice spot in the ground! We go looking and our bio titan location seems to be near a spore tower. I can’t see anything and all of us are looking for this thing. I stop for a moment and think that the skybox must be changing, in terms of like weather or something, because it was getting even darker and harder to see than it was moments ago. I look up and I think that I saw a mountain face. Then I thought it was a small land slide as the mountain was, like, moving from perspective. Then, its leg just stepped on me before I could finish my “I think the mountain is moving.” Sentence. Gave me chills and thrills getting primped like that! Gave the boys a great laugh for the rest of the mission XD
Before this game I was really falling out of the gaming scene and just wasn’t interested in playing anything really. I would just go back to old single player games. But maaaaan this game instantly revived my will to play games again, and I don’t care if there’s only 10k people playing this in half a year from now, I’ll be playing it still
The reason this game's live service model is so succesful is that it's the live service we were expecting to be delivered to us: a universe that changes in real time. When we're watching a stream and someone is live, we're watching them in real time, if we're just watching a prerecorded video, then it's a VOD, not live. This is what companies fail to understand about what it is that us as players want from the games we play, but unfortunately live service became synonimus with cash shop and not fun.
It is with great honor to announce that I’ve saved up enough money to enlist and join the helldivers (which includes ps plus) See you in the frontlines brothers 💪
The best part of the freedom pass is that you can technically grind the premium one FOR FREE. It costs 1000 Supercredits for the premium. With the freedom pass, and the RNG based supercredits that can be found on maps, you can earn the premium pass, FOR FREE.
i ran a dedicated group to farm sc once and by farming one specific seed/map we got around 750 sc in just an hour, devs are very generous on the premium stuff
by the time your like halfway through the freedom pass you'll have more than enough. 2 more things I like: 1: you can complete the battle pass at anytime so you could leave for a few months and pick right back up. 2: The cosmetics aren't super over priced. You could get one in a single session if you play for like 3-6 hours.
The feeling you get when you are about to dive down to the planet, the incredible music syncs up with when you are shot out of the ship gives an amazing feeling that you are going to fight FOR LIBERTY
What I love is how the heavy, powerful weapons have the caveat of requiring a drop AND ammo (or watching your heat or not killing teammates with my beloved, the arc thrower). The game masters the "primary, secondary, heavy" of many shooters. Also love how I can run around as a "caster" if you will, summoning my eagle's airstrikes with the Servo-Assisted set.
23:20 These are other players ships. Not directly, but the server looks up how many players are in a space and by that counter, it spawns/renders in other ships over an Operation point. Depending on player traffic over an Operation point it can differ then.
4:33 and a bit of Metal Gear Solid V, the movement and animation style, airstrikes and equipment calling system and of course the dive, it reminds me of that game a lot honestly. Oh and that you can aim in first person too even if the game is in third, that's a MGS thing too.
@@anishbasak3117 yeah that game may be incomplete story wise and have a terrible empty map and no "MGS levels", but the main gameplay core and weapons are just perfection and "tasty", probably the best creation Kojima and his team ever did. i hope mgs3 remake just copy and paste that gameplay
Now thinking about it Gameplay-wise as a whole, can't believe I forgot about MGSV and it does largely reminds me of it. I've even thought of Tom Clancy Wildlands w/ the way the players are given the freedom to roam and tackle objectives.
Funny you say that: there's a clip going around where someone punched an egg and was sent flying, but they wound up somehow being straight up dunked into a bug hole and dying. Was a straight up hole-in-one.
I think Friendly Fire is possibly the most important piece here. One of the most important gameplay elements removed from Halo was the friendly fire mechanic. That extra tension it adds when I can't just lob grenades at my buddies or I cant just aimlessly shoot a rocket because you might kill your teammate as well is lost and that absence is felt. I've been arguing since H4 for them to bring back friendly fire. Even just bashing your brother in the back of the head as your running down the hallway on Assault on the Control Room as soon as the check point spawns is priceless.
The fact that they made the next stratagem we unlock player driven (i.e. choose which of two planets to liberate and get that new weapon) just goes to show that Arrowhead truly understand what makes this game so good. New content, territorial advancement, and even the occasional failed order all feel driven BY THE PLAYERS. The devs are giving us toys and a sandbox and are basically telling us to make our own story through our gameplay. This game is leagues beyond most other stuff out right now.
A lot of the magic with Helldivers I think is how they aren't afraid to make some things excessively difficult. When you just barely scrape by a mission, all swan dive into the extract ship with titans on your tail, that shit feels so good. The differences in the enemies was a good choice too, it's almost an additional unofficial difficulty slider. Me and my friends typically start out helping out the automaton front some till we get our teeth kicked in a bit too hard, then move on to having a blast gunning down buggos. Very good
23:35 - "my headcanon is that the other ships are other players, and we can see the strategems being fired from them by the players" ... yeah it works that way. When you see one of the super destroyers get destroyed, it's a player logging out/quitting.
@@akadam90It’s not! Every single thing you see, is someone’s Ship, Strat, or Dive! All in real time! I am guessing It’s why they stuck with this engine.

On a similar note, there is no liberty without me
I think too often there's a risk when making a "tongue in cheek" movie/game to make the score more whimsical, or for composers to not give it their all, but Wilbert played it 100% STRAIGHT and Wilbert COOKED.

@@blainejackson2857 How about Kasrkin commando and Vindicare assassin uniforms from warhammer 40k?
and all the cosmetics only cost $1-$2. This is the first game in a long time where I felt like buying some.
Some crossovers would work, like Dune, Starwars, halo. But yeah stay the fuck away from cat ears
@@Svoorhout85 certain crossovers will for sure fit the theme of the current game. Hopefully they don’t just do it with everyone like Fortnite. I’d like a dune crossover I think that’d be cool. 40k of course would be cool

Good stuff, really giggled my goober
Thank you, my goober
The arrowhead devs and the ceo are really one of the biggest reasons this game is doing so well and will continue to do so. They love this game so much and put lots of real work into it and it shows
Also all the work into talking to the community (even after having a huge toxic argument between the 2 sides)
Seems like a fun game. I hope no greedy company jumps in and ruins the experience.
Nah the Helldiver community is too mighty.
What i love about the game, that you start in lower difficulties, and then with each difficulty and planets you are introduced one by one with each enemy type, until you got to helldiver, and you got them all on a silverplate
Wonderful comment.
BTW its silver platter.
Dude one of my favorite lore bits for this game is that they attacked and invaded the bugs because they produce oil kinda like whales do in the real world
i have reported you for treason against democracy.
The Ministry of Truth would like to know your location.
@@romainlemoine_ISNcareful they are removing these comments as actual harassment for some reason. If it's Actman's team then like wtf, did you not watch this video?
Even better, after the war of of the first game, they started breeding the bugs farming them for oil only to have them escape
@@Ichidan9And they mutated them into the abominations they are today, so many of the bigger threats are actually made by the humans x)
Never forget Spenny had 13.8k team damage that one run and that is surely treason

But maaaaan this game instantly revived my will to play games again, and I don’t care if there’s only 10k people playing this in half a year from now, I’ll be playing it still
Same.
Honestly, same.
It's like the industry forgot that games are supposed to be fun.
10K is a lot healthy. But I guess that would take 2-3 years to happen?
Yeah this is a game that will never really die. Unless the servers shut down or your friends die.
@@R3TR0J4N Left 4 Dead 2 has 20K average and that's 16 years ago with minimal content. Helldivers 2 will be fine.

@@Bohdisattva326 thank you
The best part of the freedom pass is that you can technically grind the premium one FOR FREE.

"It worked.. *QUADRUPLE THE MILITARY BUDGET!!!"*
The way they are baking their content releases into the lore of the game and into the player actions is so refreshingly perfect
I hope he makes a “What went wrong with Helldivers 2?” video
The feeling you get when you are about to dive down to the planet, the incredible music syncs up with when you are shot out of the ship gives an amazing feeling that you are going to fight FOR LIBERTY

What I love is how the heavy, powerful weapons have the caveat of requiring a drop AND ammo (or watching your heat or not killing teammates with my beloved, the arc thrower). The game masters the "primary, secondary, heavy" of many shooters.
Also love how I can run around as a "caster" if you will, summoning my eagle's airstrikes with the Servo-Assisted set.
They had to heavily nerf the lazer cannon for good reason though, infinite ammo and piercing damage was spicy.
Arrowhead using MGSV as the blueprint for Helldivers 2 gameplay is frankly genius. Adapt from the best in the biz.
Don't Forget the Stealth Starts! in higher difficulty, Stealth is a must to survive!
@@pertamanakprimaindra3928not a must but it is pretty fun
@@anishbasak3117 yeah that game may be incomplete story wise and have a terrible empty map and no "MGS levels", but the main gameplay core and weapons are just perfection and "tasty", probably the best creation Kojima and his team ever did.
i hope mgs3 remake just copy and paste that gameplay
Now thinking about it Gameplay-wise as a whole, can't believe I forgot about MGSV and it does largely reminds me of it. I've even thought of Tom Clancy Wildlands w/ the way the players are given the freedom to roam and tackle objectives.

I found out the hard way that punching Terminid eggs sends you flying 16 area codes away.
So, what you’re saying is I can fast travel?
😂😂😂
Very good
23:35 - "my headcanon is that the other ships are other players, and we can see the strategems being fired from them by the players"
... yeah it works that way. When you see one of the super destroyers get destroyed, it's a player logging out/quitting.
Nah isn't that when a squad dies and fails the mission?
@@NamePending878 I believe it's when someone fails the entire op. I believe!
do you have confirmation of that? it makes more sense its just a backdrop.
well the one thing I can confirm is that the number of ships varies according to how many players there are each plannet
@@akadam90It’s not! Every single thing you see, is someone’s Ship, Strat, or Dive!
All in real time!
I am guessing It’s why they stuck with this engine.
I just hope we get to one day see a game mode where we have to defend earth or something on a large scale (100 players) in an all out war. That would be so fucking sick
I'd love to see urban or orbital platform maps as well!
@@jesseadams8933 Cloud City style maps in low atmosphere would go so hard in this game! And you wouldn't even need to change much of the mechanics compared to the ground missions. Platforms are the landmasses, and just change the water into bottomless death pits (like in some maps in the 1st game) and the Destroyers loom above the floating platforms with the terrain deformation being the outer layer of walls/floor coming off and exposing the material beneath.
that would blow up your pc / comsole
100 is unrealistic, for sure. 10 would be more chaos than the average soldier could handle...
Not sure about that amount of players, but missions on earth can defo be a thing
Speaking of cinematic, we were killing bots and one of my team shot a drop ship out of the sky which then landed on a bot factory and exploded, the democracy was GLORIOUS!!!!
18:08 I am dying over here, that was just too freaking funny of a clip.
Its only going to get better from here. The Discord community is the most active ive seen and the memes are legendary.
It's also filled with people bitching about the difficult and cry when the devs tell them to get good,

I play PC but that would be cool to have everyone able to play it
No
It won't it's a sony ip
I love how visceral it is, especially against the bots. The way you hear and ***feel*** the bullets flying by, and when they hit it's almost like ya got actually shot in real life. The sound design and the way it looks and feels is insane, This game is honestly great, and once some bugs get fixed this game will genuinely be a 10 out of 10. Plus there is something to be said about being dropped onto planets, it's so cool.
Just imagine what they might have planned for the future of the game as well or later on a third game.
Totalbiscuit would have loved this game. Miss that guy.
God bless him, but he would have hated some parts of it, like the twitch exclusive skin, the pre-orser bonus, always online, etc. He'd be fair on the game though, r.i.p.
Never forgotten. Always alive in our hearts
@@uberbyte7467 Also being fair, that twitch set is literally just a recolor of a standard-warbond set that just looks more combat medic themed. The Twitch one was just to be a nod at both Star Wars Mandalorians, and Master Chief with the 117.

Despite what's happened to Helldivers, I've called my ship: Soldier of Freedom
Mine is knight of supremacy ;)
This game feels like a living being. The way the devs made this game is fantastic
22:38 according to the devs that is the case you are seeing other players and when a ship blows up that’s a group that failed and died in glorious combat.
Im not so sure, I saw someone log in while stationed at a liberated planet and it was still surrounded by other destroyers sending down stratagems and shit.
another thing about the super credits:
You don't even have to buy them! You can find them on the planets that you dive onto! It's great!
plus, the most optimum strategy to "farm" them is to play on lowest difficulty, not highest. there is no premium gatekeeping, everyone can enjoy even the most premium of the features for free if they really want to
