That pacific coast is a hard to find bike, its actually designed by acura, those tails are pretty much modded integra tails, that bike is wild and rare, ugly, yet somehow kinda cool
As a mountain bike guy I kinda expected you'd have trouble when I saw the Sram brakes lol. I've run everything from Sram, Shimano, Magura, etc and my favorite are TRP. Currently running a set of TRP DHR Evo's on my race bike and a set of Shimano Saints on my park bike. I don't know anything about Surrons but these work great for my bikes.
as someone thats looking into getting a sur ron where can i find those breaks? also im told the stock forks are the worse part of a sur ron so wondering upgrades for those to
@brian_636 bro a quick tip to center your break callipers loosen off the calliper mounting bolts and pull your break lever in while holding your breaks on tighten the calliper bolts and they will be perfecto every time...keep up the good work brother love your content and all you do....much respect all the way from Australia
love the surron content. would suggest buying after market wheels, after market jackshaft bolt, rear axle, steering tube brace. They will all bend or break if you take your bike off jumps and trails.
I paid with my own money for this bike, you can literally see it in the video I posted when I got it. Ride one for a solid 20-30 minutes and you will be sold to my dude.
Im a MTB rider, watching someone say sram brakes are good, makes me die internally hahaha, Every MTB er will say, the first thing to change from your MTB is the dogshit sram brakes to shimano or hope etc. haha, keep up the good content :)

The new Hayes are awesome brakes
Pro tip: get some Magura's instead. So much easier for bicycle stuff than sram which is aways a pain to bleed.

It really depends on which brakes you get. I don't ride surrons, but I do mtb stuff and both make all kinds of brakes a different price points.

Not sure if it would be much help, but the brake lever has a contact point adjustment, try winding it out and it might make your brake feel better
