Regardless, some excellent riding there mate! And you held those wheelies perfectly fine ^^ As someone who has been riding motorcycles in one way or another for 25 years, including supersport bikes, I still feel as excited about potentially getting a Pro SS sometime in the probably too distant future, as I did when I got my Yamaha YZF600R at 18 years old ^^ It still tickles the same nerve in the best possible way. Thanks for having me along through the videos! And again, excellent audio mixing this time around as well!
For performance upgrading, it looks like Talaria Sting is the better platform. A reduction gearbox with wet gears is more capeable and efficient than a dry belt/jackshaft. The swingarm pivot/drive cog geometry looks better for the final drive chain too going by internet pictures. I note Sting's frame is a bit heavier. If that means stiffer and more payload, it would suit fully grown over-fed old men like me. I'd need to compare the frame/headstock/swingarm to be sure. If you're riding on public roads at over 30 mph, you need propper motorbike brakes using alcohol fluid, or you will wish you did if you survive.
You could put a angle/level app on your phone and get tge actual head angle on both bikes to really compare. I dont know what the inner diameter of tge head tubes are but the fork steerers are 1 1/8" steerers so i imagine you could atkeast alter tge head angles atleast 1⁰ either way with a $100 works components headset. An offset bushing for the front eyelet on the rear shock can adjust another .5⁰ either way as well
What about the noise? I bought my ERide pro SS so I could do night rides with stealth but I had no idea it was going to be so whiny and squealy, you can hear the damn thing coming from a block away! I literally want to get rid of it because it is so damn noisy.
Have a Suron and have put over 4k miles on it since January. Its my daily driver and I could've bought The Pro SS and upon tons of reviewing I believe the Suron is better. Tons more parts, better looking and it slightly looks like less of a motorcycle (I don't have a drivers license and drive it to work 20 miles a day), Understand it wheelies better which I love and the thing about the ride and going around corners, I think its a shock upgrade. I have a 2023 purple suron with a black EMBX controller with a bunch of gold suspension, footpegs, handlebars. I just need that battery now!!
@@SkeenDogger that's a good lesson in humility, tho not quite as much as a scooter. Back in the day, if you saw someone on a 49cc scooter, you knew why and the operator knew everyone knew why.
There's something going on with that though because I just bought a brand new 2.0 and the turbo button definitely works. Acerbis Husquvarna 85 front plate and acerbis ktm 65 front fender! Kinda have to rig it to fit, the reason we use a husky plate is cause it’s flat and we can cut out the hole for a light

All you need to do to remove stupid turbo mode on the eride is remove a clip and you have constant turbo. Did it to mine in 2 minutes, no problems at all, just tons of power. GritShift has a how-to video: ua-cam.com/video/hw2USipe6Qc/v-deo.htmlsi=RDjii_0-uLi5F1Yz
How steep of a hill can the E Ride Pro climb (assuming rider weighs 150 lbs)? Do you have to have a lot of momentum built up to climb up a steep grade?
In my opinion I’d go with the Sur Ron and fully torq swap with a chi battery. Things like 3x as fast as an eride. Yes it’s gonna be like $4k more but get your money up not your funny up I guess. 🤷🏻♂️
