I just met John at the Atlanta airport. He took the time to say hi, shake my hand and listen to me being grateful for the content he puts out. He’s a humble and kind guy, just as he we see him on his channel. Much respect for you, sir.
Great video! I love that you say you are failing forward. I think one of the keys is that there are men that really struggle because they can't separate the failure along the journey from that failure being who they are. The failure being one more step to moving towards a goal rather than the last stop. Tough stuff. Thanks for the videos, the motivation, and the dad jokes!
Bro I don't know you but, if you are the one struggling, failure doesn't define you. You said it was a struggle which means even on the bad days your fighting it and that is admirable sir. I almost enjoy my failures because they are experience on my way to success and I know that I am inching closer. Remember God wont give you anything you can't handle. If your not the one struggling then please pass it on.
At 72 , I did all that Warrior Poet jazz/stuff earlier in my life. Today the old body says not anymore. Now what I can do is be there as a medical first responder to help my younger brothers in their time of need. The pendulum has maxed out and is coming to rest.. :) Stay strong and keep your movement alive.
I've been deathly ill for the past two and a half weeks. I've had multiple infections (it's a long story) and it's forced me to stay at home and relax. I was a workaholic before I got sick, and I left no time to myself... now I'm reminded of the value of relaxation, and although I'm improving and can't wait to go back to work and school and church, I think I'm going to get myself a little more relaxation time on the weekends. Being sick for so long has reminded me of the value of rest and boredom
This makes so much sense. The other day i was so bored i didn’t even want to bother staying on the phone all day and there was literally nothing to do in the house so i got up and set up my ruck to go hike in the woods. Amazing little adventure i had for the day and that day made me realize how much i loved adventure which is one reason why i want to join the Marines.
I needed this video! I blame the military for making me this way! Don't know when to rest. I just started dedicating two hours at the end of my day for mindless indulgence of video games. LoL I'm pretty sure this rest has led to better muscle growth and fat loss, along with daily gym routine. Also, I think John's feet didn't even touch the ground going up that hill! What a beast HOOAH!
That rock that Evan was jumping on is about all I can do after a major knee injury a couple of years ago - but trust me, those little jumps up and down the curb feel like I’m leaping tall buildings lol!
I NEVER get bored! I can always occupy my mind with something! Ive told my kids thru the years when they say ”daddy I’m bored” that “a person that gets bored easily is usually a boring person”...
I used to work out like that, but then I injured my shoulder. Need to try to get back into it, even if I'm still not able to do everything. Vehicle pushes are fun! My favorite though was when we would run into the woods, find a downed tree, use axes to chop off a sizable chunk, and then team carry it a half mile back up the hill to the house. Good days...
Thank you so much for everything you do on this channel. The way you handle yourself and the content you put out inspires me to be a better man, a better son, a better Christ follower, a better protector, and a better future warrior for the United States of America. Please don't stop anytime soon.
Re-roofing my house in July counts as a nasty work out when you do it by yourself. But I did have some help from my neighbors in the early morning and late afternoon. Eddie, Shep,THANKS GUYS!!!!
I agree with the production of bored. I work graveyard at a small casino as a table game dealer. Plenty of down time. Some of my best ideas are produced during down time.
Only an operator can say "I like to party" and have it mean what it's supposed to in very truest sense of the phrase...lololol...Thanks for yet more great content!
I’ve always thought of John as an extremely intelligent & insightful man, but now I’m starting to think Evan is the brains of WPS. I mean I’ve seen the dude dressed as a scientist & he had an accent! Now he can find the most comfortable spots to rest- even during a workout? GENIUS
66 E check out "Strength Side" look for his beginner and follow along videos and "Athlean-X". Start where you are and don't injure yourself, we take longer to heal than we used to. To drop weight I kept a food journal. It is a lot easier to resist something so you don't have to write it down. Try doing stuff with the kids chasing them around is fun and you get your exercise in. Have a safe journey.
I've subbed a couple of weeks ago. The first time I heard him speak, he sounded very familiar. It took me two weeks to figure it out. He sounds just like John Walsh.
Anyone else have to pause the video to take a breather? I'm going to be sore tomorrow I know it! BTW them pushing the Ford wasn't for exercise it was the only way to get it home. :)
The whole day is a workout from the gym at 5 am to building whatever contract I land . Then it's cutting trees and making deer camp.....deer camp. Stay healthy , we re all banged up here in NE Ohio but everything is top shelf laid da fuq out from 4 wheelers tot trucks to stands everywhere , pick one , good luck , lol. NE Ohio has MONSTER bucks all the way through PA and backtrack up to Illinois has Monsters too. Once you get to Kentucky they are like doe bucks , little Texas deer , lol.
It definitely looks like you guys are out in that Georgia heat in this video lol! Great point on taking time to just be bored. I know that I definitely struggle to just sit and do nothing every once in a while as a reset. Getting out in God's creation away from everything helps!
He's done a video on preparing for Special Operations, even if you're not going to try out for SOCOM why not try the most now? Also, if you're young (high school aged or close) start learning basic life skills like cooking, I doubt any one will tell you that but it'll help a lot in your 4 or more years.

So, is this the beginning of the "Warrior Donut Society?"
Right-on! I sat down and zoned out. Immediately I had the world’s best AR build-out come into my mind. Then I woke up and took the trash out.
Unplugged during workout and unplugged for 4 mile daily walks...
Blessing to all on this page..

Yes, very well said. From a spiritual stand point. God works through our failures also.

I'm with you, Evan! Good job.

I just stumbled on your comment and it made me yearn for a bygone era.

@@charlesmckinley29 I understand that. I'm a fan of the classifieds but otherwise it is a bunch of junk really.
Nice to see you in my neck of the woods! Too bad I wasnt in a class with you.
Kinda agree here about boredom. You need to rest. Need to recharge. I can't call it boredom however. This is my thinking mode , never boring.
Your channel is amazing never can get enough
It's TRUE, what he said at the end... it is illegal in California... personal experience.....
Omg, so true, my wife gets into me for pacing back and forth while im trying to watch tv with the family or standing up when I eat.

You guys should really do a best of video of all of your hilarious intros. Those German scientists could host it.
This was a nice change up. I was really starting to get bored with all the regular programming. 😁
