People say my grip strength is very good and that I have a decent hang of flowing with the person that I’m rolling with, like when sweeping and stuff like that. I also feel very confident in my body holding up under pressure and not getting hurt.
@@Rishi440 Nice! Only been doing it for a little bit (just with the club) don't have a mace yet. But my shoulders feel more flexible I think, not that I ever had any shoulder issues or anything like that. Really feel it in the forearms too!
@@Rishi440 A bit of Tennis from time to time. I've been overweight most of my life, the past two years I've been losing weight, and this year I've focusing on running/lifting. Down to ~220 (from like 380+), so I'm finally able to really push my body to its limits. I'd like to get into rock climbing once I'm a bit fitter.
@jeremytell That’s a lot of weight ! I think if you work on the clubs for a bit and try tennis again, you’ll notice an improvement with your ability to strike or at least how striking feels. Maybe even generate more power during serves
Smooth and excellent workout with steel club and kettlebell in cold weather
Thank you!
Have you noticed any changes when you do Jiu Jitsu after all of this steel club/mace type training. Like in terms of flexibility etc?
