- A nationwide nursing shortage intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic is hitting close to home. CBS New York's Elle McLogan reports on how nursing schools across our area are working to enroll and train diverse new students to the health care field.
So are these like Jr nurses, 16 months what kind of minimum training is this?
Not at all, it just a cram school
They fast track you it’s for doctors offices doing the bottom work cleaning bed pans the the stuff doctors and real nurses won’t do
I believe its gonna be 16 months if you have prior Bachelors degree.?
You need a bachelor's degree first. It's an accelerated 2nd degree full time program
You have to be full time to join this program.
I’ve been to one of the schools they fast track you through many of the teachers can’t speak English so learning medical terminology was difficult it’s already difficult snd it’s own language but to learn from a non English speaking teacher it was a horrible experience it’s sad too I know many nurses that was fine till the poke and now are in disability from side effects they worked through the whole pandemic too
It always been as needing staff in .😮
Be prepared for the healthcare to worsen.
Do no harm is not a thing anymore.
meh OF makes more than nurses with less hours
what's OF?
BS. Nursing schools are making it harder and harder to get in. Less RNs equals higher pay for current RNs.
Virus X coming soon
