If it were up to me the text on the dial would be edited , "water resistant" would have to go and " Switzerland" and "automatic" would be removed or modified as well. It makes me wonder how a watch in that price range could be produced with such glaring imperfections, sure those are insignificant and purely a matter of personal preference but isn't the luxury watch realm meant to be free of mediocrity?Maybe this is sub-luxury
I understand that micros tend to "quote" certain luxury pieces so as to not alienate consumers, but there's something to be said for at least a half-hearted attempt at originality. The Epos 3506 model is basically a Maurice LaCroix Aikon clomage.
The only thing I would be concerned about with the coating is durability. There seems to be a consensus that DLC is much more scratch resistant than PVD. And unlike with stainless steel finishes, those scratches will be obvious even from a distance.
I do agree with you but I will say I have had PVD watches that have held up extremely well, it’s all about how they are finished before the coating and that in my time with it before the review I couldn’t find one scratch on it and compared to the regular stainless brushed and polished model where like most polished surfaces, it scratches fairly easily.
Great review. I like Epos watches. I particularly like this watch but would buy the reg titanium model instead as I find the extra cost for the featured version to be too expensive. Thank you for sharing.
I’m well aware. PVD is the method. But in the case of all these coatings, we only ever hear of DLC, but not anything else, meaning what is the coating when it is just listed as PVD? Sometimes I think we are being played with and DLC is a buzz word. Either way whatever this watch is coated with, they did a good job.
Looks nice, but the millionth Submariner copy... bleh. There are nicer, more independent and cheaper watches, also with COSC.

You see all the text on a submariner? I’m in agreement that there is far too much text on a lot of watches.
very beautiful but too expensive
Love the look, but the price... 🥴

I just saw that, how lame from them.

Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts! 👍
PVD is the method of coating. DLC is a type of coat. The best is DLC

the cyc killed it for me
Ha! I understand. Of course they can be removed but I’m not a fan myself. I do know there are those that love them.
I got the same watch from blackfriday sale, and I love it! So light and delight to wear. And doesnt scratch up easily with the coating.
Nice to hear!
How much was it from the Black Friday sale?

how was the alignment on bezel and 12oclock?@@watchreport
@@jsjseven perfect. It lines right up and clicks into place. I find it to be a very precise bezel.
Cool looking watch but too pricey I could see myself getting one for lets say $1300-1400? But not $2700.
