I purchased an amazon ODB2 BE, and the one month of carista. I don't know if the torque control being off is placebo but I feel like there's a difference, car doesn't really hesitate anymore, but with that you do get a little more wheelspin. I did the windows, blinker (5 seems perfect for me), and a feature that I thought was really neat was the rear wiper. If your front wipers are on, and you put the car in reverse, the rear wiper turns on, (either once or permanently until you shift out of reverse.) I also did the seatbelt chimes because it's just excessive at a certain point.
Just ordered a 2023 Corolla hybrid LE AWD and can't wait to see all the new & innovative stuff it has to offer me......Especially the TSS 3.0 and get me some of that 53 mpg.

You can turn the daytime running lights off in settings and always have your triple j leds on. You just need to go through the settings on the head unit
Open trunk via smart key is for the trims with the automatic opening and closing trunk lid. My 2022 TS Hybrid TREK has is for example and I used Carista to change it from long press to just a single click. Small but pleasant difference. :) I do think that somethings gone wrong after I changed this and the turn signal flashes because my car doesn't remember things it used to anymore, like always having the A/C turned on. Now it's always turned off every time I start the car but before I used Carista it was always on. Will have to se if deactivating this feature and then turning it back on again will do the trick but it's a bit annoying. 😅
Nah you don't have to drive around with it plugged in. You can remove it after a change is made. That being said, it would good practice to leave the adapter plugged in and leave the app open after testing the changes, so you can quickly go back and revert changes if you don't like them

I have a 2022 Corolla LE, the base model without the push button start. Do you think I will have the windows roll down feature? or it's only on higher trims?
I want to say the feature should be available given how much is common between trim levels, but I truly don't know. It may be worthwhile asking the dealership (assuming they don't charge you) to check. Or you could buy an OBD2 adapter, try it yourself and check, and if the feature isn't available then return the adapter. Regardless, if you do find an answer please let me know!

For the first feature. You can change the head light setting on your stereo settings. And have the J LED lights all the time while driving

This video is underrated! I would've never guessed I can do all this stuff with my car!!! I'm pumped😭
Thank you for sharing the Carista Veepeak. I always wanted to roll down windows simultaneously.
You can also hold the turn signal stalk without clicking it in to let it keep going

The wipers into service mode is HUGE. My Camry couldn't do this because the arm would hit the hood. What a pain.
Awesome video! So many features, including the power saver mode, that I had no idea were available. Thank you!
