struggling with hydration, my hair is like the desert and I am losing alot of hair. I have tried different treatment but no luck so far, I will try this glycerin and Aloe Vera mix. Thanks for the info
Do you think you may have been using too much protein? In products etc? Last year was so rough for me, I was seeking more curl definition and thought I needed protein.. for some reason I started doing rice water, protein treatment, and unintentionally using products with proteins in it and my hair was not staying hydrated or moisturized and started to break!!! Now for about 2 months I’ve been deep conditioning once a week, do hot oil treatment once or twice in the month find one or two good moisturizers or leave In, apply after washing, put my hair in a loose bun and wear head wrap or turban.... I’ve noticed it’s starting to become softer, stay moisturized and hydrated... and less breakage...oftentimes less is better... I hope you figure out the perfect regimen for you !
@@sakariyasmine4014 thank you Sakari for replying, I haven't been using anything that has protein to be honest, but can you please share the hot oil treatments you use, and the leave in moisturizer you use, thanks again
@@123f89 for hot oil treatments you can try which ever oil you like .. I’ve done it with Olive oil, jojoba oil , coconut oil, (used them alone) or the Queen Helen Cholesterol hot oil treatment. Honestly I’m looking to try different ones to see what I would rather have as my go to, the Queen Helen seem to be better since I know it’s formulated to do what it says... As far as leave in or moisturizers I use the Aunt Jackie’s daily leave in moisturizer (like a mint green color) or one of my favorites is the Taliah Wajid leave in coconut spray it’s really moisturizing, or I’ll use a little bit of Aussie conditioner as a leave in. But again find what works for you and just stick to those same products for awhile and try not to mix so many different steps in your regimen. Once I wash and deep condition w/ hot oil or without, I just use the best moisturizer and put my hair up.. I stop doing wash and go’s for awhile too because the more I wore it out the more quickly it became dry. I understand some people say use water daily but sometime even that seem to dry my hair and make it weak...So right now while in recovery stage less is better that way you can understand what your hair truly needs and what it doesn’t like .if you find a good moisturizer leave in, humectant etc, it should work well enough so that you don’t have to spritz with water constantly... I truly hope this helps ! Sorry for the lengthy reply 😆
I have auto immune blood disorders and I have been diagnosed with everything under the sun. Let me tell you, eating clean is SOOOOO important. Also, everyone should be taking a chelated zinc, Vitamin D (5,000 IUs per day), methylated Vitamin B complex (mosquitos are attracted to those with B deficiencies), and ascorbic acid (aka vitamin C). We do not get enough from the foods that we eat (the quality of foods even organic) are depleted especially the moment we cook them. And we cannot get nearly the amount of vitamin D that we need from food alone so you have to supplement it. Also drink lots of water and go for walks. If you’re unhealthy, no amount of hair products will work. I do not take any medications.
Ummm hmm idk if I agree with with 5Gs daily for everyone. Vitamin d is not water soluble. I have MS an autoimmune disease and its great to take that much Vitamin D for people who have autoimmune diseases. I think 🤔 everyone should check with a doctor or pharmacist before taking that much Vitamins A, D, and K are NOT water soluble and can make u sick if you over do it.

Is there such a thing? Sounds similar to “preventing hair loss after pregnancy”- it comes with the territory. However, I think she said before amla is good for preventing grays.
Externally onion. Sounds crazy but it is true. You can add onion to a hot oil treatment. Some people use onion juice for an hour on wash days (cuz of the smell). Internally: Spirulina, Wheat Grass, & He Shou Wu (can be drank as a tea or made into a smoothy).
I'm still here for you, sis, getting more knowledge for my curly little girl, whose hair is healthy and growing with deep conditioner, oils, and trimming of ends along with protective styles. 💖
You are a staple in my household. Empress...thank you for being beautiful inside and out. You have helped me in my journey to realize my self worth. Peace and blessings to you my sister!!!!!☺
I did all the right things. Then I wore twists with extensions for two months. Took them out so much shedding all the progress since last May gone. Help I’m devastated.
I totally understand....I did everything right too and went from twa to mid back length...Then I had to see the length with a slik press😒worse mistake ever...Well back to twa😫
Are you sure it is gone. You shed 200 hairs a day, and you have not combed that shed hair out in two months. You were going to have a lot of shedding either way. If it is damage, it is more than likely from tension on hair that is too dry for too long. You could try adding 1 tablespoon of glycerine & 1 tablespoon of honey to your favorite conditioner (for moisture) + 1/4 teaspoon of henna (for strength) and sit under a bonnet dryer for 30 minutes once a week. And using her growth oil weekly.
Love it! Can you make a video of different protective styles please? Like you mentioned a tuck and roll, I’m not sure what that is but it sounds beneficial haha

Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. In a short amount of time I have seen my shedding stop and my hair feels so much stronger. Started taking MSM and Vit C today. I plan to start with smoothies and eating more live foods. I have shared your information with all of my friends who are over 50 like me and experiencing hair loss. The ones who are trying what you have shared have seen progress too. I completely agree you have to address the internal along with external. Thank you 🙏.
I have decided to go completely gray. Before that I could use castor oil & olive oil on my hair, but now I have to use colorless products otherwise it will dull my silver hair. Now I’m using coconut oil.. i wish I could use henna.. is there any other oil or products that I could use for hair on my gray hair for growth that won’t interfere with my gray?
Yes, you can use cassia obavata, it acts like henna but doesn't deposit color. It's perfect for people with light colored hair or gray hair who don't want the red tinge of henna.
Can you clarify my doubts the researcher said instead you can use rice water once a month to prevent over protin of the hair which cause dryness and damage

I never make comments. But I've been watching your videos since you were inbetween classes making them lol. And I just bought your whole line. I'm so excited about it. I swear...Your content needs to be on primetime tv, for all women of color. You have never ceased to amaze me. You need your own show. Love you, dear sister... ❤️
Thank you so much for your advises.!!!
My biggest problem with my type 4 b-c hair is my ends. They are constantly tangle. Hydration get them more frizzy. A fact that lead them to break off
My other big prob is my crown area and the back of my head. My hair is shorter at these 2 places.
I really don't know what to do to help that...😫
Sounds like you need to trim more frequently trim every 3months. And keep your ends hydrated and oiled with castor oil
@@sharg1778 i used to trim but the problem keep repeating. The ends become very tangled even right after a trim.
I will try your methode.
Thank you so much 🙏
Try clarifying your hair basically that strips the hair clean follow up with moisturizer

Henna makes my hair strands thick in a weird way they can’t act themselves
Really? Do you not like it? X
Maybe it's too harsh on your hair.
my mom is in her 40’s and struggles to grow out her edges? she’s starting her locs journey but she really wants to grow them out. any advice? also great video very informative 💖 definitely trying some of the things you suggests. I have pcos so I’ve been taking maca to also gain weight too. and I’ve been taking fenugreek to smell like berries😂 but hey has a whole nother purpose now😂

Hi there! I have ur Elixir oil as well as the Aloe Mask. How many times can I use this in one month?
Hi there, the oil every other day aloe masque as a gloss every 2 weeks x
@@CurlyProverbz Thanks much for your speedy reply! I appreciate that.
Your tea has made my hair and both of my boys hair grow and be stronger. Forever grateful. My oldest has thin edges from when he had locs and my youngest has anxiety that he rubbed small patches in his head. Both of their hair grew back nicely. Thank you so much Farida!!

I started adding sea moss gel to my diet recently. I love pumpkin seeds.
Nutritional yeast is what I love on my salads.
I love your henna!!! I’m a believer. I started incorporating henna a month ago and I love it. I only buy your brand. Love the product and the packaging.
Hey ! Hope you are well! How often do you use her henna? I bought the blue one but am uncertain on how often to do it. Thank you!
@@tawnyamillin3262 you can use 1 tsp in your regular masque weekly or every two weeks. As a full masque every 2-3 weeks with a moisturising DC in between
Are you going to have your henna available for people with only a debit card??
@@Vessel_of_God I was able to buy mine with a debit card.
@@AntonioandJessica really?? Because it said you could only use a debit card
I found Avocado oil is way way better than castor oil for my low porosity hair. The moisturizing level is off the chain!
My skin loves it too🥑!
Me too! I use it for my face as well.
I still don't understand low & high porosity 🤷🏿♀️ Is low porosity mainly 4c hair which I have? 🤔
@@SisterGee1 Low porosity hair is when the cuticles on your hair are closed so when you wet your hair the water just sits on top or your takes a long time to get fully wet. If you have low porosity hair you usually have to deep condition with heat (steam) for you to get the full benefits of the DC and your hair won't like much protein.
@@anikaevanson6578 Thanks very much 💗
I'm not a fake subscriber. I'm a genuine subscriber, I'll show up. By the way, I just got your CP Henna products today. Yayyyy! But I'll admit, I'm scared to put it in my hair! You rock!
Start with a teaspoons in your shampoo and conditioner first. Then make a gross.
Actually I’ve found that good quality ashwagandha taken internally helps to lower stress extremely well.
Grow grow grow let it grow sis
Gorgeous Queen 👑🔥💯✔💙
Bloodeh blimey. Nah sis, how is it that you're not reaching 500 thousand. You should be at a MILLION long time ago!!!! I'm vexed.
💜💜💜💜🙏🏽
Right ! I don't get how this UA-cam algorithm works 😕, but am vexed as well
Love that hoodie
Maca root is VERY good and regulates my cycle in a very short time. The brand Femenessence is the best!
Yes Maca root is amazing
My hair is in the same style as yours. Two ponytails. My secret. I daily Denman brush & moisturize my ponytails and only the crown once a week. I keep my crown tied up and dry so it stays neat. I’m back on my MSM,vit c, collagen water for the next 9 months hoping to get 9 inches. We will see! Great Videos, you are inspiring.
How much MSM do you take per day?
@@LexiYoga I take 1 heaping teaspoon dissolved in 48oz on H20 that’s been sitting in a glass jar overnight on my nightstand, I drink it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
@@Ms88keys1 That's great. I take 3 MSM capsules a day with vitamin C. I think the MSM crystals might be better than the powder.
Any updates ladies? Hair growth, goals reached, other benefits?
Oh, yeah. What she said.
I did what she said, now I will tell you what I did. I have the Curly Proverbz Henna and Aloe Powder. I have been adding a scoop every time I deep condition. People. The strength from the get is unbeweavable. I’m retaining more growth INSTANTLY! Listen and you, too, shall receive...
Hi! Can you do a tutorial for your henna aloe masque? I bought it but I haven’t had luck with using it...I’m not sure if it’s user error .
I’m not model ,I’m not gold diggers I’m ENTREPRENEUR 😜.I love it.I will get your henna to support your business and I’m tired of cheap henna.I need results,I can’t wait!
I love this video. The two ponytails are fire 🔥🔥🔥
This is soo random but how tall are you? I always assumed you were like 5’9. But you look soo tiny like 5’2😱 I’m 5’1 btw lol
Like 5 ft 4 ish
@@CurlyProverbz wow! So your hair is more than half of you lol 😂 Btw I love your oil packaging, I try not to use a lot because I want the oil to last a while!! 💜💜
@@CurlyProverbz Really? I’m 5’4” ....You look so much taller than me!! LOL
Wheat grass?!!! What’s your take on that grass?
You look ADORABLE with those two twist ponytails!! I love the style!! Now back to the video!!
Hi Curly proverb. I would like to purchase your henna. Why is it priced in dollars, it also seems to he shipping from the US. I thought you were UK based?
Sis can you please talk about cassia obovata leaf powder? Because I'm thinking about using it as a mask but the opinions about it are so different and very unprofessional, I think you can definitely help out💅🏼 thx ×
Maybe we could get a whipped butter added to your hair care line🤔?
I am suffering from a hormone imbalance right now .... thyroid and high prolactin ...hemorrhaging alot for the last 5 months...and anemic.....but am I losing alot of hair. ?
No.
Okay sis but can you do a remedies for gray hair already?
Is there such a thing? Sounds similar to “preventing hair loss after pregnancy”- it comes with the territory. However, I think she said before amla is good for preventing grays.
Use henna and indigo
Yes, Jenna first, then indigo. I looked at a person doing this.
Sorry that misspelled Henna,
I'm still here for you, sis, getting more knowledge for my curly little girl, whose hair is healthy and growing with deep conditioner, oils, and trimming of ends along with protective styles. 💖
You are a staple in my household. Empress...thank you for being beautiful inside and out. You have helped me in my journey to realize my self worth. Peace and blessings to you my sister!!!!!☺
As always, informative and nothing but positivity. Thank you for sharing!
OMGOODNESS scalp massage!!!! I need one right now ,love them!!! Protective hair style👧🏽👍🤗
My hair is now growing wild.what can I do to get thicker hair.? Help please
🥰🥰🥰
I loooove your henna. I applied recently and my hair feels and looks amazing. Even my grey is a beautiful hue. Forever grateful🥰🥰💫
This is one of the best informative videos!!!
Extensions are unnecessary for protective styles. Try midi twists/braids instead.
Maybe 2 months was too much
Try keeping your hair for 3 weeks, give it a 1 week break and style it again the next month.
Oh no!! That’s the style I’m rocking right now!
Love it! Can you make a video of different protective styles please? Like you mentioned a tuck and roll, I’m not sure what that is but it sounds beneficial haha
Always great advice CP! ❤️🌹I ordered your henna And aloe masque and fenugreek oil and I ❤️❤️❤️it!!!! Since I've been using henna on my hair my alopecia outbreaks have been fewer and my scalp healthier. Thanks for your help. And yes, diet does play a huge role in hair health. I have an autoimmune disease called leaking gut and I have to be very careful of my sugar and gluten intake . 🙏🏾😇😍👍 blessings
All them herbs are drying that is why it can’t be used on a regular moisture is needed on a regular
What are the best products or herbs to use if you're dying your gray hair? I'm not ready!🤦🏾♀️🤗

What kind of moisture can I put in my 6 month daughters hair?
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. In a short amount of time I have seen my shedding stop and my hair feels so much stronger. Started taking MSM and Vit C today. I plan to start with smoothies and eating more live foods. I have shared your information with all of my friends who are over 50 like me and experiencing hair loss. The ones who are trying what you have shared have seen progress too. I completely agree you have to address the internal along with external. Thank you 🙏.
Thank you Freida for sharing your knowledge and advice. Luv ya & God bless❤❤

Hello curly, I’m here. Thanks for the information and update.
I’m first!!!! Eeeehhhh!!!! 😄😄
Come on!!! LOVE IT xox
I always get your post so late. It must be the time difference. I'm watching now😘
Can you clarify my doubts the researcher said instead you can use rice water once a month to prevent over protin of the hair which cause dryness and damage
Loved the video girl! FYI I don’t think it’s possible for your videos to be to long. I never get tired of hearing you talk about anything that has to do with hair.💋😁
Your videos are so informative. My hair is permed but they have helped me so much. Due to being up in age, illness and medications side effects I thought that my hair would never grow but now im almost mid back length. Thank you so much young lady

*Argan oil* _is rich in vitamin E, which promotes a balanced scalp environment for great locks!_
*Olive oil* _has loads of antioxidants like Vitamin E too so it's perfect if you want more protection from split ends._
