I include in her hair conditioner and deep condition her hair. Her hair feels hydrated, soft, healthy, strong, and defined. I’m noticing that her edges are growing right along with the rest of her hair. Henna is really a herb.
WOW that's very nice, am going to include it in my children hair routine, pls I want to ask, which product do you use?and also do you use it as a DC or hair mask and do you wash it off with shampoo after , thank you for your respond and am sorry I have ask so many questions 😉
Not too many questions. I mix the henna concoction with her deep conditioner. After I apply it, I cover her hair with a plastic cap, and then I place a bonnet hair dryer on her head. I put the dryer on a low setting for 20 mins. Then I rinse it out. I do not shampoo it out because I shampoo her hair before. If you shampoo it after, then you’ll wash out the benefits of the herbs and oils.

Hi there! ☺️ How often do you recommend doing this type of intensive mask/treatment? I have fine curly hair. And when do you think your pro strength henna will be back in stock? You’re so amazing, so inspiring and I’d love to support! Keep shining! ✨
I think once a month or twice a month max! Because henna acts like a protein treatment and its dye does stay in your hair for a loong time. Once a month but consistently is quite enough
I think I need to switch to this, my hair has been really dry with the henna gloss lately, maybe I’m moisturising. I actually use shea butter on my hair to do my twists so adding to the mask sounds like such a great thing to do! I am very happy to see your progress with your own product range!! well done !
Love love love your content. I would really like your perspective on using henna as a dye, because I have read that if you are doing that, it's a no no to add oils as it compromises the hennas ability to bond and penetrate and 'fix' to the hair. Much love. ❤️
I thought that too. I’m so confused now. I don’t use oil in my mask and I deep condition with store bought conditioner, oil and heat after. My hair stays hydrated with this method. When I do a gloss I will add oils, butters, or milk/yogurt but I don’t do that for dye.
@Rochelle Oliver I use a brown Henna dye by Reshma. The instructions say to use on clean, dry hair with no product in it. It covers my grays very well. Using Henna as a deep conditioner is not the same purpose or process. I hope that helps to clear up any confusion for some.
I wouldnt use the oil if you’re using henna solely for coloring purposes. Most of us are using it for strength and growth though, so that oil helps us to get all the benefits without the drying
Watch Arabic girls the boil a bunch of herbs and onion/garlic then use the warm boiled water in mixing the henna. Adding oils and some yogurt and egg when it is cool 👍🏾 that is an organic way to make it.
Try the rose method to apply henna, starting from the top of the head to twist a section, and all the other strands of hair around It, until you'll pick all of the hair. It should become a big bun
I like this idea. It makes sense because I always feel like all the goodness runs to the back of my hair, where it soft lush and healthy compared to the middle and top where it’s often dry.
Absolutely love the channel and love the way you present. Was really keen to understand some tips and hacks for using henna to cover grey. Would love to hear from you on this. Don't want to look like a carrot top with henna application n have tons of grey... Help help help
Curly, I use my hand mixer to blend my henna et al and let it sit over night. Next time I will add some aloe vera juice. Recently I added zizyphus ( a natural Ayurvedic cleanser) to clean my hair. I really like it. I don’t like shampoos even with Ayurvedic ingredients added. Also when I use henna, I spread a little Vaseline around my edges and neck and use a cover around my shoulders. Not being picky just my routine. Also I have been to the mailbox twice looking for my Xmas 💵 and this dude LATE. As soon as I get it, I will buy me some CP Henna 👍🏾😘👋🏾

Curly Proverbz, because of the shea and oil added to your henna mask, would you use this recipe once a week or do you recommend once a month?
Hair is growing girl. I’m on a consistent regiment now. I can’t wait to tag you for my hair growth before and after photos. 😘😘😘 Love you for years now.
I'm applying my 3rd mask today. 3rd month. Now I understand all the love you're talking about💜🌸
Curly Proverbz, it would be a real treat if you could have your mommy on using your products! We haven't seen her in awhile, and would love to see how her hair is doing.😊
Hello Queen, I watched your videos all the time and the Ayurveda hair oil now I have growth and nothing gives me so much confidence like my hair.
I’ve been so busy lately and haven’t watched your videos In a while and my hair hasn’t been the same 😩. I gotta start my henna routine again. I told my sister to watch you cause she had a bald spot and her hair came back after using your methods. ☺️ my hair grew the most with henna. Love ya girl💕
Does henna chng our hair clr ?
Hey there Curly Proverbz 👋🏾😊.....I just wanted to take a moment to say ty for all U do💕ur videos have really helped me learn how to take care of my hair, and actually enjoy it....I've be practicing what u teach since about July 2020 and I can definitely see growth and length retention. I purchased ur Henna product a couple of weeks ago and I am very pleased with my purchase 😀👍🏽....it arrived quickly, and this video helped me know how to apply it properly. I noticed a difference in the texture and minimal shedding after the very 1st application of the purple bag 👍🏽....I actually prefer this one over the green aloe mix since I use my own aloe vera mix😊👍🏽Ty Curly Proverbz....u've change my view on hair care...Love ur channel 😁🙏🏽💕
Thank God for this video, cause all my henna treatments have felt dry! I’d always go in with a deep conditioner after but my hair has grown an inch in 1 month so thank you so much!!!!!!! Love your channel
Glad you are getting that growth :))) Now for some hydration too xo
I always add aloe vera juice or plant in my henna gloss treatments. Makes my hair hydrated, soft and shiny
Add fractionated coconut, olive or avocado oil to your mix or hair before the henna. I added honey to my henna mask last week and it made a big difference.
Your hair is stunning 🤩😍
How often do you do this treatment ? Is it meant to be done every week, every other week, once a month ?
Your excitement over your henna has me excited for the weekend so I can use this hydrating method. Got my pumpkin seed oil ready! So grateful for you and proud of your achievement. Love from NYC!
I just received my products! I haven’t used the henna yet because I have my hair in a protective style (twists). However, the oil is amazing and I use it every night. I have to say it smells very good!!! Cannot wait to take down my hair to use the entire line!!!!
Drinking Game: Take a shot of tequila for every time she says “literally.” 🤣🤣🤣
I use henna in my daughter’s hair. My mixture is henna, coconut oil, aloe vera juice, avocado, and banana. I include in her hair conditioner and deep condition her hair. Her hair feels hydrated, soft, healthy, strong, and defined. I’m noticing that her edges are growing right along with the rest of her hair. Henna is really a herb.
How old is your daughter? Mine is 7 and I’m wondering if she is too young to start adding herbs
She is five. Anything natural is not going to be harmful to a child of any age. The only way is if she’s allergic to the herb.
Haha easy way to get drunk with most british people. I love how they say literally a lot. 🤣
I’m literally just going through liking all your videos 😍❤️😘
Look at the rich orangey/brown color it turns. It looks so pretty on the head 🥰
I’m so inspired by your hair routine! I have to say that I started a natural hair journey in my hair because of your videos😂 I’ve became a truly henna junkie, and it’s a shame that I couldn’t find that many options here in my country, Brazil. However, I’m totally planing to import some of the products I can’t find here♥️
How often would you recommend doing a henna mask?
Tried this mask today and it was an amazing experience for my hair. Lots of moisture and definition. My only issue is not being able to wash it all out to style it afterwards.
That was just as I would say great too sis.
Great post you made me fall in love with henna I was scared after my first use of it because of my lack of knowledge which earned me a major set back but now I know better all thanks to you, loving my natural 4c shoulder length hair headed to waist length.
hey! I just wanted to say that I started MSM yesterday because of you! It was hard to find since I'm brazilian and is not well-known here. My hair type is EXACTLY like yours, you are my inspiration! ❤️
Oii, tudo bem?
Yeah you’re my favorite youtuber I love you so much❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💋💋💋💋💋
awww babe. Thank you xo x
You better get it queen!! I'm applying OKAY black henna on my 2 long wavy braids today and I attempt to roller set and straighten a bit😄. I'm SO looking forward to purchasing your henna blends💛💛👌
Been watching you for years then lost you. I’m back and just made my purchase. Guuuurl so glad to see you.
I use henna every week and I saw tremendous change I am addicted to it now and the color is so beautiful. And I apply henna to my hair using bare hand I noticed stronger nails and I had dry palm and guess what it is gone I was so desperate but henna healed it
I don’t use gloves for the exact same reason. I felt like it was also helping my skin and nails. I’m glad you mentioned that.
Thanks for mentioning it. I will try it next time.
@@avawilliams484 it will stain your nails and palm for me I like the color on your nail it will last but the palms it fades
@@ro2670 I absolutely love it it helps a lot the access henna my mother use it to scrub and soften her hands .. it is amazing
Ok how do you mix and use your henna each week?
Farida!!! Keep being you and flourishing in much more than hair🥰😘
This is great! I definitely would like to see a video of you using your henna in a tea/gloss like you mentioned. ❤️
When I was using henna religiously about ten yrs ago my hair was the strongest, thickest and longest it's ever been in my whole life. I put dk brown semipermanent color on top of it to mask the orangey color.
Your hair looks so moisturized. Thanks CP. I've just reached my hair goal thanks to your wonderful and very useful tips. Currently Hip length 🥰😏
It's not cool to make false statements for likes. I remember your review on another video. Your hair is not hip length. In your picture, it looks very short. There are real women/ men who come on here to look for solutions. CP has helped so many of us with whatever our hair goals were. Stop the madness ( lies ) or produce pictures. Yes for this video. Thank you!!!!!
I started making my own pumpkin seed oil. Love it.
Catherine Storing please share the recipe of the oil
Yes great idea, please do a henna mask with conditioner that is less intense.
I’m loving this! But I’m all about that cassia life I’m definitely jumping on that once/if you launch it, not buying it from anyone else but you once it happens. I’m so excited to see how your career unfolds 🤍
I have never thought of using melted shea butter in henna. The smoothness of the henna was absolutely lovely. Your hair is truly beautiful! How much henna did you use in your recipe? Didn't appear to be the entire package. Would be interested in your other recipes for henna as well. Congratulations on your new endeavor!
Great questions that I would also like to know.
Hello Farida.... !!! I want to say congratulations 🎈 on your new line once again !!! I’ve been using henna now for a little while... I don’t know exactly the time frame but any way .... I mix 1/4 teaspoon of Henna in 2 tablespoons of Dr. Bronner’s Peppermint Castile shampoo & my follicles have been popping out of my scalp like never before !!! I do mix that shampoo mixture with some other goodies as well. Your Beast mode hair growth oil has been a God sent as well also. I just wanna say thank you 😊 !!!! I have a scarring alopecia & these remedies have helped a lot
@Lucky #13 can you please share your full recipe to get 'my follicles popping out of my scalp like never before'? I am very interested in your ingredient list for this DIY shampoo. Thx.
@@HoneyBrown831 good afternoon I just mix 2 tablespoons of Dr. Bronner’s Castile shampoo with 1/4 teaspoon of henna. I mix Saw Palmetto extract, Stinging Nettle extract , & rosemary essential oil & peppermint essential oil ...... I don’t know how many drops just eye ball it. I wash my hair 3 times a week. Hope this helps you !!!! I also do scalp massages every night & oil my ends. Have a wonderful holiday season & stay safe
@Lucky #13, tysm for the recipe. I will be using it. Happy holidays!
I love henna! I used it on my medium brown/blonde highlights...Wow! I love the color! It made it a beautiful red. It didn't look like regular hair dye. It looked so natural! My husband loves it! I also do it for my hair health. Super Amazing! Love you and your videos! Thank you!
Hello @curly proverbs can you plz do a video on the Henna and Aloe mask, on how to use it?
Thanks
You have always been so consistent and true to yourself! I've been watching your videos and I love them all! Stay blessed sister 🙌
I just ordered the full collection! 💜💙❤️💛💚🧡🖤 I can’t wait for my order to come in!
Try the rose method to apply henna, starting from the top of the head to twist a section, and all the other strands of hair around It, until you'll pick all of the hair. It should become a big bun
Great idea! Tysm
I like this idea. It makes sense because I always feel like all the goodness runs to the back of my hair, where it soft lush and healthy compared to the middle and top where it’s often dry.
I never knew the name of this method.
I love henna. I feel like putting nature into my head 😂 I love the unique brown/red colour henna gives me. Henna makes me unique ❤️ 🤎
Absolutely love the channel and love the way you present. Was really keen to understand some tips and hacks for using henna to cover grey. Would love to hear from you on this. Don't want to look like a carrot top with henna application n have tons of grey... Help help help
Farzana Bharmal I have the same problem n can't understand what to do to get a darker shade
Indigo...
Cassia is a natural henna that won’t stain the hair
she has such lovely curls!!!
I just got this hair mask online for my birthday as a present to myself. Wish me luck!

How often should one use the henna mask, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly?
Henna should be used monthly as a mask. If you are mixing just a teaspoon into your deep conditioner to make a gloss then weekly is fine
