The best comic videos was when you were at NYCC ´21. What an insane amount of great comic books! It is also always fun to watch the digging and listen to comic book chats.
...If I remember correctly, Gold Key didn't join the Comic Code because they felt all their books were 'family friendly'. I think I remember seeing a "letter to our readers" page proclaiming such in one of their issues.
☆Hi Pops, just recently started watching your channel, and its really cool! I'm a casual comic collector, most I have are the classic Mad 1960s books. Graphic novels like "Habib," or American Gods, by Neil G. I had a quick question, I had a couple Conan the Barbarian comics when I was younger, and can only remember that they cost 60 cents, and we're marvel...what time period is that considered? I'm thinking about getting the comics from that period, or an omnibus (?) What would you (or the comic com♡) recommend? Definitely subbed up, and look forward to seeing and learning more about this wonderful world of comics! Much respect and appreciation to you and yours-Rg's ☆
60 cents is right on the end of bronze and the beginning off copper age. I checked the first issue that had a 60 cent cover as a regular issue was #131 and lasted to #168 1982 to 1985 Those issue I find all the time for $1 you might be able to find them around that price as well. And then I do recommend looking for older Conan books, I really enjoy them all.
@@pop-comics Okay, let me know if you change your mind. I'm collecting all the LiTB comics and am having trouble finding them in decent grade for reasonable prices out here. You guys in the east coast are lucky at the availability of older comics.
"Circus Boy" and "Pirate Corps" tie for the win!
Haha love it.

Yeah the NYCC videos are my favorite too.
Mid to late 60's DC books are so cool! Bright color, Neal Adams in his hey day with great covers, also into the 70's!
Yeah I agree, I love the coloring and the line art of that era.

That makes sense.
I really like the comics you have and don't forget the smell of the Golden and silver age comics and you have fun looking up The prices
Love the smell of a nicely aged comic.
I love those early “red shirt” Lone Rangers. WOW. I might have to start collecting them.
They are pretty neat, and I think semi affordable compared to other golden age books.
GO-GO CHECKS! 🏁
Those "Space Adventures" covers are so good
Yeah they are really cool!
