Today we rebuild the carburetor on my new to me Honda EU1000 generator and run Seafoam through the tank to clean carbon deposits from the valves.

Hey Mad Mike Thanks for the great video just my opinoin (part 16:50 talking about the pilot jet) I dont believe there is a hole that goes straight thru the whole plastic pilot jet as indicated. It seems it is only the bottom (inside) portion that has the hole.Cleaning/clearing that, should solve surging problems.

Great video! I have had my EU1000 carb to bits dozens of times and completely missed the diddy 'O' ring on the idle jet! That was the problem all along! Thanks for posting up this video. My genny runs like a new one again now!

That plastic idle jet has very fine hole in the bottom. Make sure it is clean. A very fine bag tie wire fits
If you know how to get the idle jet out you should know how to clean the jet and the circuit.

Carb not clean engine running rough remove and clean the carb properly.
