The two buddy space marines add so much soul to the experience. It's nice to see characters played straight and taken seriously; even if they are just a bunch of gigachad monks galivanting through the galaxy, fighting monsters with chainsaws. Such a nice break from the marvel/millennial style quips.
"Hey that wasn't so bad, was it? We didn't even see a Swarmlord today."
*Guardsmen start whimpering and backing away*

Also Astartes are SUPPOSED to fight as a team.

Warhammer is hands down a million times better than Star Wars.
Really gives you a sense of the horrifying scale of a Tyranid invasion. They are endless.
Which also describes the Guardsmen, but in a different way.
The only number you need concern yourself with is this: zero! Because that’s what we fight to! To the last man and the last round! Remember the Commissars and be true to the Emperor Guardsman!
More for me then
Guardsmen need supplies, logistics, morale, strong leaders and get tired. Tyranids dont.. @@andreasottohansen7338

Wow, the guns sound goooood. The other preview videos obscured the sound. Saber have been listening to the feedback. Titus is sounding more like Titus too. Love that you can roll with the heavy bolter now. Even if a first-born marine couldn't, a primaris marine should be able to manage that. Very excited!

My favorite thing in games is when the voice in your head keeps going "WE WON'T BE ABLE TO WIN UNLESS YOU DO THE OBJECTIVE" and every time you do one part of the objective, they once again remind you "HURRY, YOU HAVE TO DO THE REST OF THE OBJECTIVES"

This game is already gonna be a masterpiece it’s great to see captain Titus back in action I hope they make more 40k space marine games in this style I like the Callisto protocol style counters they put in when facing Tyrannid warriors

"Masterpiece" is a bit of an over statement. It looks GOOD, but not a masterpiece. The set pieces are great, and looks pretty authentic to lore but the actual game play I've seen a thousand times before.

I hope this game will have a Lieutenant Mira equivalent, she was one of the best character in the first game.
I really like how Titus got soaked in blood in all of that Blood and Gore action and close up combat actions.
I really liked the previous game. It kind of made you feel the weight, power and speed of the Marine, the overwhelming heft of his attacks and the devastating effect of his inhuman arsenal. I enjoyed the experience more than the game that spawned it, Doom, despite being a relatively short one. This game seems to improve on all of the above. Can't wait.
This is insane to witness. The closest scale battle you can get. Best sci fi content.

My major complaint is that because the marines are so big, and because they are placed almost directly in the middle of the screen, they become a blind spot that hormagaunts can sneak into.
Yes, feels like it'd be good to bring the camera back a little.
Camera is too close. And they should be accurate and keep space marines big like the Spartans

It looks beautiful and sounds great, but the muted colors make it a bit difficult to clearly identify foes, especially when the nids are that pale white color against the muddy backdrop. One thing I loved about the first game was that target acquisition was never difficult. The orks and chaos clearly stood out from the backgrounds they were in (while fitting in thematically) and made the game very enjoyable

That might have more to do with the color settings on the recording or on your video. They do look a bit muted to me but possibly better on an hdr10 enabled device.
The new gears of war game looks great love so see they upgraded marcus fenixs' armor!!!
Mark Strong's stellar performance will be missed dearly here. Hope he returns for the 3rd game. Otherwise the game looks amazing, will grab it once released.

10:27 Really wish the Tank would use it's Heavy Bolters. Or Flamers apparently.
I actually think those might be multi-meltas with the tube nozzles and cables. Heavy flamers usually have a sort of barrel shroud that covers the ends of both barrels at once, but those look separate.

I don’t understand why GW keep releasing shlt games and most importantly they keep on making variety games. They aren’t even consistent on their own ideas, if you want to do something you might as well commit to it and be good at it, making 2 or 3 really good games instead of spreading your work into 50 different mediocre crap. I swear I feel like they are just throwing hundreds of stuff and hoping one catch the trend or something, it’s just dumb. Also, just like the new strat of how every single game devs releasing unfinished game so that the playerbase will hold onto the game for longer period of time, so they could sell their micro transactions and basically an excuse to make the game be a live service niche with seasonal format, Space Marine 2 WILL release in an unfinished and crappy state, especially when you consider that it is GW, so if the game is dead before they could even get the “live service” BS going, they’ll probably abandon the IP like Relic did with DoW.
@@SordidusFellatio gw does not release the games, they license them. As such they cannot request games be made, only give a yes or no on if a game is allowed to be made, and for gw the answer was, up until very recently, always yes.
that essentially exists already, Its called starcraft. Blizzard wanted to make a 40k RTS games workshop told them to go to hell so they made starcraft instead. @@andresr.viguera9791

I've never been interested about Warhammer until now! This look so epic, it reminds me of one of my favorite game Spartan Total Warrior btw I wish they would remaster that game or make a HD port
Theres some other good ones out there. Despite the complaints and some bug issues spacehulk deathwing is pretty good. And if you like games horde shooter types games both darktide and the vermintide games are fantastic. Vermintide is warhammer fantasy but very fun

Since its Tyrannids, I expect a company or two to be present in this campaign. Leading to the possibilities of us witnessing many of the new Primaris addition in action like the repulsor tanks or the Redemptor dreadnought. Heck, won't it be cool if we could pilot an invicus warsuit? I say hell yeah
As a tyranid player, I have accepted that we shall for ever be meta cannon fodder but its nice seeing my fellow astrobugs in action.
Half the tyranid biomass is literally dedicated to meatshields (gaunts) lol

My only complaint so far is that Titus isn’t talking(acting) like Titus but leandras(generic space marine)
yeah. Titus is a calm and soft spoken space marine in the first game, and he seems to enjoy interacting with regular humans. he seems like a black templar here 😅

My concern is we’re only getting Titus return in name only
@@cncmne7404 He was with the inquisition, the templars at the end of SM2 where liekely just there to use the templars model. They do not get along with the inquisition. The trailer also shows titus as more reserved, reisgned even, and more angry, i hope this explored in the game. 200 hundred years have passed since SM1 and he seems to have been just reinstated, i want to know what happended for him to turn up like this.
@@hatartshop1098 Sure , but why the chain tho? BTs chain their weapons to their arms cause of the whole Sigismund-Kharn friendship and Sigi adopting that tradition. I dont remember the Inquisition doing that sort of thing.

I hope that's not the sound they going to use for the chain sword. It's sounds like a little buzzing drone. Last game it had a nice roar to it; really sounded like a chain sword.
One thing I wish for, customizable drip. Captain Titus and Ultramarines are cool and all, but it would be awesome to rock up in some Imperial Fist armor

I know everybody has a hard on for the Adeptus Astartes but I really really want more games about the Imperial Guard and the Adeptus Mechanicus.
Sound needs to be improved, like the explosion sounds for instance. They could also touch up on some of the vfx

Tyrranids! Hopefully there will be even more new enemies. And several planets, perhaps..? THe first one was a bit limited in scope in terms of enviroments and enemy-variety :)
It seems like each game follows a conflict with a specific race. (First game = orks, second game = tyranids)

animations of the soldiers could use a touchup, less repetition, there needs to be some degree of commanding the cadians. The space marine walking animation might be too badass, needs to chill a little bit.
I think the melee sounds could use work, other than that, solid

I've not been interested in the Warhammer universe, but this has my attention. Looks awesome.
Warhammer 40k is fantastic and has a faction for just about anybody. It's seriously fun just to read the lore of the universe that's been built and still going.
