I played an insane amount of Mass Effect 3 multiplayer back in the day and this reminds me a lot of that, but way better. My Mass Effect tradition was to always play the Infiltrator Class first, so I'll definitely be maxing Sniper first.
I would not at all say this is way better than ME3 multiplayer, they’re vastly different. ME3 was horde and this is missions. Not only that, just because they both class oriented doesn’t mean they’re similar. They share almost zero similarities outside classes and perks. Thanks for reminding me of that game though, miss it. Loved the multiplayer player! Hopefully I can have the same amount of fun and replay ability in this.
Yea can confirm the sniper feels exactly like the infiltrator from ME3. Playing it for the first time instantly brought back memories from ME3 multiplayer.
Great synopsis on the Vanguard! I’ve seen many people saying this class just doesn’t look good but as soon as I saw it I immediately wanted to main him. He’s incredibly skilled at single target close quarters and a lot of his perks boast survivability as well as increased windows on dodge and parry mechanics. Also coupled with the fact that he has crazy mobility with the grappling hook and 3 different primary options, yeah I’m definitely taking that route👌🏾
I think i'm going to start with Tactical. The variation of weapons, extra damage to enemies and uncloaking with his ability. Just a really good all around class that would fit into any team formation. Plus I like the idea of using the bolter with the grenade launcher.
A LOT of this has changed since the game launched! If you're seeing this since the launch, take a look for yourself at each class. Much has changed since this video was made, such as gun strikes being available even with no ammo in your sidearm and the Bulwark's Power Sword getting considerable buffs to it's damage. As far as which class is OBJECTIVELY the best as of the time of this comment... For PvE, it's unarguably the Bulwark. Very powerful and very fast melee weapon (Power Sword), best sidearm in the game (Plasma Pistol), AND that nigh impregnable shield. PLUS it has perk abilities that allow you to maintain not only your own health, but that of your teammates through the contested health system, which lets you save those precious stims for when you REALLY need them!
Yea im almost 100% picking vangaurd. Hopefully i can convince one of my friends to play tactical so i can get an auspec scan on a couple elites and just rip them to shreds then we can clean up the fodder from there 😍
I was a simple man when first seeing the classes.. hammer, melee, smash. But after watching a lot of gameplay, probably more than I should, I've leant heavily into Vanguard. Just looks so fluid with the melter! grapple in, big shotgun blast.
My favourites are the bulwark, heavy and assault and I also think they would make a good squad together: the heavy deals with large swarms, the bulwark protects and reinforces him and the assault flies around taking the aggro and elites. Unfortunately for now I only have one other friend to play with so we won’t be able to implement this strategy

I played Space Marines way back on the 360 when it dropped. I thought it was cool but it got repetitive and i was too impatient to persist. Now, as an adult, I can't wait to olay the second game and even get into the books. For me, its gonna be a volley between Vanguard, Sniper, and Bulwark look the most fun (the only one I dojt want to try at all is the Tactical class, honestly). Whatever secures the victory for my team.
20:12 “Läss Fäsill” fourth guy I’ve seen pronounce these words incorrectly, I guess nobody has ever seen the word Fusil nor do they recognize that “Las” in this context is not Spanish
I love the snipers ability to help the team. Someone in trouble with broken armor? Headshot the enemy next to them so they can execute for shield refill. Your friend down? No problem sneaking over there. Got a Melta bomb? Sneak to perfect target. Dangerous terminator on the field? Nothing a few headshots cannot handle. If it is in your face? Fade away, it locks to another target and you can focus fire him again.
Not true. Sniper, Tactical and Bulwark are going to dominate at the max difficulty. They are good solo but thrive when together. Nothing comes even close. Vanguard is alright but noticeably weaker than Tactical. Both Assault and Heavy need some serious buffs if they ever want to keep up. Especially when they introduce the newest highest difficulty in October.
I never wanted to get into warhammer till i saw this and one of the fan made cinematics. I hope they do a lot with this game community wise and add more multiplayer / single player / lore content
1st Bulwark with swords and shield looks the best and because using a banner on the battelfield looks badass. 2nd vanguard because of it's mobility, he can have a primary weapon and the knife looks cool. 3rd will be assault because hammer goes boom 4th tactical because it's the classic marine 5th heavy because it lacks mobility 6th sniper, I love sniper in general but it does not look like it will be good in this game
This'll be the first time i get into a warhammer game. i think ill do my part by picking a support/medic role to help ky team out plus it seems like a medic space marine would be highly regarded
I love close range shotgun classes so going Vanguard, maybe white scars chapter as that suits zipping around like a ninja! Played the equivalent class in Mass effect to!
Definitely going sniper to provide support on key targets and do a bit of hoarde disruption. Im probably going to opt for the stalker bolt rifle as well
I am glad I watched this video. I was originally gonna go heavy because I thought it was tanky, and while it is, I will probably go bulwark so I can fill that tank role I love playing in games.
It would be so bloody awesome if every class had there own sub classes that changed there look and game play like the heavy class being able to wield Melee weapons but has less range or the assault class being able to have a primary weapon but loses some of its speed there’s a lot of ideas that come with this universe
Im absolutely running bulwark! I run full slab ogryn aggro shout ogryn in darktide. I have a really unique build where I run full stamina block efficiency and stam regen. I have 19 bars of stamina and tanking a full crusher shot only takes out 1.5 bars of stam per smash down.
Im gonna go Bulwark. Sword and board all the way. That said though, I'll probably give all of the classes a go. Vanguard looks better than I thought it would

It is easier to decide which classes I am not super interested in which is the Heavy and Sniper. For solo probably Vanguard or Tactical but will try Assault and Bulwark to see how effective relying on melee is. If I can convince my friends to play I will likely main Bulwark.
One thing ive noticed; I have seen a video of each class maxed out and soloing on the hardest level. I dunno what that tells you....but at least it seems like no class is specifically better than another when it comes down to the line. Or, everyone is just totally OP when their class maxes out.
5:45: That 20% is not vs elite enemies. "Terminus" is the designation exclusively used for the mini-bosses and bosses that have their own health bar at the top of the screen.
Main bulwark, secondary is assault hammer or heavy depending on how I feel. Just sucks being limited at range for the bosses but the wave clear is worth it

@@erikbofo2649 Everyone has to be close to the banner for get the effect. That contested health is at 100% as long as the banner is up and u get armor blocks while its up. Bulwark can do that every 130 seconds which makes "Ruthless" difficulty walk in the park. On "Ruthless" u get a single medpack(+40% hp) on average for the entire 35-40min mission. Imagine having 10-15 banners during your scenario ...
Vanguard is my favorite! Being only level 7, nice to hear it doesn't suck.
Vanguard is like a more mobile tactical marine with melee added.
Get over it he can say however he wants I would intentionally say wrong to hear people like you cry 😭.
This being my intro to warhammer and coming from elden ring having a paladin build, I'm pickin the bulwark looks cool af
Fade away, it locks to another target and you can focus fire him again.
best class is the one that you like. i saved you 20 min. thank me later
You didn’t though cause he’s not saying what the best class is he’s describing their strengths and weaknesses in great detail💀

@@laurentiuanton4806you’re insufferable
I never wanted to get into warhammer till i saw this and one of the fan made cinematics.
I hope they do a lot with this game community wise and add more multiplayer / single player / lore content
Fun fact, you can do gun strikes even when out of ammo! Not too sure if its supposed to work like that but it works for me.
Thank you for going into depth on the classes. Really appreciate it. I think I'm gonna go woth Bulwark first
1st Bulwark with swords and shield looks the best and because using a banner on the battelfield looks badass.
2nd vanguard because of it's mobility, he can have a primary weapon and the knife looks cool.
3rd will be assault because hammer goes boom
4th tactical because it's the classic marine
5th heavy because it lacks mobility
6th sniper, I love sniper in general but it does not look like it will be good in this game
This'll be the first time i get into a warhammer game. i think ill do my part by picking a support/medic role to help ky team out plus it seems like a medic space marine would be highly regarded
I used to follow you all the time back with Skyrim… Gonna be doing the same with Space Marines 2! Black Templar Assault and Salamander Tactical.
Nice to see you play a Warhammer game. I've been waiting for this game for 13 years.
I love close range shotgun classes so going Vanguard, maybe white scars chapter as that suits zipping around like a ninja! Played the equivalent class in Mass effect to!
gonna be playing Assault 100% loved it in the first game and it looks amazing here to rain down death with the thunder hammer
Definitely going sniper to provide support on key targets and do a bit of hoarde disruption. Im probably going to opt for the stalker bolt rifle as well
Bulwark, sniper and heavy are definitely the first 3 I would level up all are great and useful
I’m new to space marine life and I’m excited to get in this!!!!!!
That cat is amazing. Need more of it please.
I am glad I watched this video. I was originally gonna go heavy because I thought it was tanky, and while it is, I will probably go bulwark so I can fill that tank role I love playing in games.
I'm definitely playing assault looks like the most fun class to play
It would be so bloody awesome if every class had there own sub classes that changed there look and game play like the heavy class being able to wield Melee weapons but has less range or the assault class being able to have a primary weapon but loses some of its speed there’s a lot of ideas that come with this universe
I didn't expect to but I've become attached to Vanguard I've gotten pretty good with it
I just posted my first Space Marine playthrough, if you can check it out and let me know what you think would appreciate you! Thank you so much!
I was choosing between this or BO6, def gonna have to go for this happily.
Vanguard looks better than I thought it would
Damn!!! I'm really excited to buy this! 🔥🔥🔥
This will be my top 1 game so far. Everything in this game is what I'm looking for to play. EVERYTHING!
I save my money and didn't bought BMW for this.
I believe that Vanguard Blade is the STC template those two guardsmen found.
Got a planet each didn't they?
@@pictux424if you let the Guard tell it .
I'm so unbelievably hype for this game!!!
LFG!!! Thanks for partnering with us, you're the best!! 💙🎧
Would love a vid dedicated to all the weapon perks and weapon skill trees before launch
I’ve used Audible for warhammer books exclusively I’ve read the herasy and I’m caught up on the books I have around 240 audiobooks I highly recommend for anyone wanting to get into the lore . Book recommendation I’d go Ravanor . Enjoy lads
I'm downloading this now and will be spending all day tomorrow getting Titus to be the goat of Warhammer
I feel like game is gonna draw fans of Darktide and Helldivers 2 as well.
I love that the combat knife is so good
Bulwark for sure grabbed my attention
It is easier to decide which classes I am not super interested in which is the Heavy and Sniper. For solo probably Vanguard or Tactical but will try Assault and Bulwark to see how effective relying on melee is. If I can convince my friends to play I will likely main Bulwark.
Definitely going vanguard, fits my playstyle.
One thing ive noticed; I have seen a video of each class maxed out and soloing on the hardest level. I dunno what that tells you....but at least it seems like no class is specifically better than another when it comes down to the line. Or, everyone is just totally OP when their class maxes out.
Bulwark for days my man! Lets gooo!
Great video, clean, concise and to the point. All the info we need pre-launch to make our decisions before leaping in. Not long now brothers.
5:45: That 20% is not vs elite enemies. "Terminus" is the designation exclusively used for the mini-bosses and bosses that have their own health bar at the top of the screen.
Bulwark or tactical is my favorite so far. I may try assault because i like Melee.
im definitely gonna be playing as thunder hammer, heavy gunner and the big fist
Main bulwark, secondary is assault hammer or heavy depending on how I feel. Just sucks being limited at range for the bosses but the wave clear is worth it
Appreciate this video. I want to be a vangard and grapple around, but at least I know what my friends are going to play lol
Gonna play all of em.
The Vanguard looks so legit on top of all of it mobility boosts. This class will be my primary for sure
Bulwark and Vanguard classes look amazing imo.
Great video explaining every class which when it comes to higher difficult content im grouping up with players cause matchmaking with randoms will be awful that i may just use the bots.
I can already tell my favorite is the Bulwark. Might dip my toes into assault and heavy tho.
already know i'll be playing bulwark, i love to facetank everything and help out my teammates at the same time
My first class is gonna be either tactical or bulwark. I am interested in seeing how the sniper plays though.
