Just image being those guards, in a situation where most of your company is probly dead and you're trying to find a safe place to live for even just a few more hours even minutes and then you see them. Space Marines coming to your aid, as if God himself hesrd your pleas and sent not angels of mercy of compassion, but angels of death and destruction whos skill is nearly unmatched by even the strongest things in the galaxy like the necrons, and they are there to save you 🤯
No, the Deathwatch chapter is under the xenos branch of the inquisition, and is comprised of veterans from other chapters. Often they wear their original chapters' colors on their right shoulder.
What they said. I heard it described somewhat as they are like the Nights Watch in GoT, only instead of manning a wall they seek and destroy malevolent Xenos.
The death watch are kind of like the delta force of the astartes. They recruit from all loyalist chapters. Typically only the most experienced, xenophobic, and proven marines are requested. They have an extremely high death rate due to the nature of their secret missions. It is usually considered a tremendous honor to be requested. There are some member who are serving penance who are called black flags. There also others who serve as a way of regaining honor. For example if a marine comes from a traitor chapter but never turned traitor personally, they may serve in the deathwatch. The last Lamentor dreadnought is a example of this.

Excellent. Necrons & Deathwatch going at it, what's not to like?
Fun fact, half of the reason for the skull imagery on astartes is to discourage mortals from interacting with them.
Always fun to see lore accurate X vs Y situations, the tabletop can't capture it (because balance) :)
The part with the skorpekh lord was far from lore accurate... These things slaughter astartes like Astartes would slaughter mortal humans.
that's why i'll never play the tabletop and just stick to reading and watching 40k stuff. much more fun
@@mobilevision2624 These are the deathwatch though.
@@EVSkecthCode Mainline 40k's too much work for me, but Kill Team is loads of fun. Especially if you play necrons! : p
Dude this was epic. Where is it from or did you mske it?
Its fan-made. By someone else.

Well, you see space marines. Coming to your aid is probably just a coincidence for them.
OK, Warhammer newbie here, are the death watch part of the black Templars?

OK, thanks just wondering
