People are hating but a cape is a cape imo, unless you buy it. I’m on my first cape grind right now and Ill sure be utilizing this in a sticky situation if I have to 😂
you can walk out to the right, freeze the first mob & walk back left. that will also unstack them. you will have to either tank or flick the mobs for the few ticks you’re exposed. it’s like 6 game ticks.
Nice. I have confidence in prayer flicking for short bursts but the inferno is all about consistency and sustain. I may try using this on a couple waves if supplies allow
You actually had them unstacked at 3:14 as well, because you can use that exact same tile you are standing on to drag the monster, in this case the mager, in towards you, and you can use TBOW to range it down while remaining line of sight from the other monsters.
The most common way to die on waves is getting stacked put by blobs/ranger while trying to think of a way go solve the wave, or while chasing nibs The justi and bulwark is actually broken if it can (mostly) negate those deaths
Lol took me only 6 attempts to get my infernal cape using a combo of your guide and traditional methods. And in those 6 attempts, 3 of them got me to zuk, I just died 2/3 times to zuk due to oversights I wasn’t prepared for. To anyone wondering, THIS IS TOTALLY VIABLE AND DOABLE! What matters most is your fortitude to power through the waves and accept/learn from all deaths you may have. On a final note, I’d totally suggest starting every single wave with mager+ranger or mager+blob in the middle and Bulwark speccing bubblers, then switching to Block attack style as you run behind pillars to solve. Your ranged and melee defense will be so absurdly high you will more than likely not get hit at all. Makes it feel like you have protect magic, range and melee on all at once. Fuck all that “put on your armadyl chest plate on the later waves for the defense!” bullshit for your first cape, bring justi and bulwark. Thank you again for the guide, this helped me out tremendously!
I've been using this setup, and I love it for the waves. Problem is Zuk. When I get to him, my dps is so low I have to tank 3 sets and that ranger really eats through my brews.
I seriously cannot wait for next weeks video as inferno has been on my task list for a while now but it seems so daunting I haven't even tried. I also don't wanna sell my shadow to pay for the kodai, eldrich, crystal and justi, to just be stuck doing it for weeks. Looks like I need a spare 450m...
thanks for tip! I haven't started the inferno grind because I don't have a lot of patience in something taking potentially weeks to learn! But hopefully this will help with it, when the time comes.
You say this but about 30% of inferno capes in the game were purchased. This is a great strat for someone who just wants the cape with no intentions of coming back afterwards
@@Byles26 obviously I don’t have a legit number, but to believe that most capes are achieved on their own is crazy. A guy I game with has 80 zuk on his account and sells capes, he says he does 3-4 1st time capes per week. That’s just 1 cape seller

I like your video, I don't think it's "new strats" but I do think it circumvents learning the inferno, in favor of completing the inferno. But most people just want their first cape, and thats more important to them i suppose
Nice guide man. I would have done this tbh if i knew how to back when i got my first cape. This is helpful for people who likes to get their first cape themselves and then learn proper strats without having too much pressure. I just wanted my cape asap, no way i was going to pray flick and die cause of that!
Should still work until around 65 defence with bandos/3a kite shield but would obvs be taking a bit more damage, I’m wanting to send a 45 defence run in the future to see if it’s even possible with rune armour and lower def
I feel like there must be some other solution to this, no prayer flickign and not having to tank so much damage... and I don't think this is how the west pillar is meant to be used. It feels like there's some good reason why jagex put this troll western pillar there, and nobody knows why
The amount of people willing to spend more time and effort playing russian roulette by just tanking things rather than learning enough about the content to make it through the inferno is mind boggling to me. I'm an average player with less free time to play than the average player, yet was able to not only learn the content, but was able to eventually grind out the zuk pet and a 62 minute run. Learning to work through problems and solve them in the inferno can translate to other content as well as everyday life. If you wish to spend more time and effort by trying to cheese it, by all means go ahead. Everyone I know that went the cheese route took 5-50x longer to get their first cape than those of us that learned enough about it to get the completion.
How does that argument even make sense? "learn to work through problems", have u heard that there are many ways to do things. Are u also mad at people if they dont do 2 tick mining for 99?
@@aleksi8625 One way is by gambling. The other way is by learning to do the content. Why would I be mad? Setup was mostly designed to just get people into the inferno, start swapping gear out, occult + anguish first, zaryte vambs etc.
I just got the quiver and can easily 1 tick alternate and flick.
But I think I'll consider bringing a DB for cases I can't reliably kill the stack.
