Thanks for your work I learned something 😁 but I will forget it soon need to watch it right before you planning to do inferno and simulator is good stuff :D first I'm Gona play with it :D and one more thing do you recommend to do inferno first or coliseum for new player?
@@Arch2Q89 I am so glad you learned something from this series :) I don't have a specific recommendation which one to do first. They are both challenging in their own ways. I think the inferno is significantly longer, and the wave spawns are more volatile. My guess is to start with the Colosseum, but whichever one you choose to start with my best advice is this: DONT GIVE UP!! Watch yourself improving, and making progress in real time. Be proud of small gains, because they all add up. Good luck!
This guide is superior, just reached healers on #8 attempt 1st attempt zuk,by watching your guide, matter of time.,waves explanation was masterpiece, thank you ! If u re still searching for guide for inferno, this is #1 without doubt ,cannot describe how much easier it got after watching.
Just wanna say thanks, i got my cape after 10 attempts thanks to you. Watching a gnome monkey guide is very intimating and will put anyone off having a crack at this. Glad I came across these videos, flinching is goated
Just wanted to comment to let you know that i just got my infernal cape today! Your guides were my go-to. I'm a pretty average pvmer, maybe a bit above average idk, but i never thought inferno would be something i could complete. After many runs and 9 zuks, i finally can proudly wear the cape. Never been a greater accomplishment on my favorite game, so thank you for helping with thag.
Just got my infernal cape because of you. Thank you so much. I started last weekend and got it on my 10th run and second zuk attempt. The inferno simulator made the fight so easy, died the first run because i accidently took 60 damage from the pillar collapsing when jad spawned because i was so excited and i ran out of brews because of it. The only thing i did different i guess is when i needed prayer i just waited until i got spec back and kept speccing with sgs until i got my prayer back so i went into zuk with 5,5 brews and 4,5 restores. Some waves took like 10 minutes but it was worth it in the end to make sure i had enough supplies for the zuk fight. The guide made it so easy with all the tricks to kill the rangers/magers combo without taking any damage, could not have done it without those tips. Thank you very much, you are making me a much better runescape player, because of you i learned 4:1 and got a t-bow from raids because of it. Colosseum next!
BRO you are GAMING! Very proud of you and so happy to hear that you were not only motivated to learn high level content, but that you are finding huge success in your adventures! GZ!
Hi VideoGameBot! I originally started watching your guides because the colosseum videos helped me immensely in achieving my first quiver. Fast forward a few weeks after beating the colosseum, that confidence you inspired in me in the colosseum carried over to the inferno and I wanted to get it over with. I now have both a quiver and an infernal cape, something I never would have dreamed of in past years. Thank you so much for putting out guides like this.
After three weeks of fairly casual practice, I managed to beat the Inferno this past weekend. These guides were a huge help. I think the people online that say you need to play perfectly to beat the Inferno are doing newbies a disservice. Trust me, I messed up A LOT, and if you stay calm and have enough supplies, you can make it happen. Having an SGS helped a lot despite what some people say. I didn't touch any of my supplies until Zuk.
Thats epic bro! This is what I have been trying to say all along. I also believe that the current meta is doing newcomers a disservice, which is why I believe in this method for first-timers. Congratz on your cape, you just reached epic gamer status :)
I saw your colosseum post after release and used the methods to get to sol, then they nerfed myopia. I returned for the last two weeks in a melee only setup and smashed sol easy with a 29 minute run. Huge thanks to your teaching. On part three of this video and you have given me confidence to step into inferno. You make it simple and easy to approach. LFG
So proud to hear that you've gotten the confidence needed to begin attempting all this high level content, and that you are finding success in your adventures! Motivating yourself to start is half the battle. You can do it!
@Haveaclue no need for mage swap. You can easily hit nibbles even with -30 mage bonus or worse. Just tank up and send it :) Just make sure your tank gear when freezing is semi-decent. And by semi decent I mean like above -40
Been rewatching post my first cape at beginning of month after 4 days of attempts. Absolutely using these as a resource even when I’m on task slowly getting confidence flicking for faster time. Can’t wait to move onto your colosseum guide, cheers for the methodical teaching and tips.
I literally JUST got my cape but it was 1000% all thanks to you and this amazing guide! I just don't have the sort of inner timing required to do the stuff like 1-tick flicking so I always thought having an infernal cape was beyond my reach, but I watched your guide when I saw it recommended I think on reddit. Right after watching your guide I thought, hey, he makes this look not so bad! I should give it another try! Boom, wave 60 for the very first time in my entire osrs playtime. On my next run I was getting all the way to triple jads and I did die to them twice out of nerves, and then one more time when I lost connection. My first Zuk I died at Jad after tagging the healers and missing a prayer, but on only my second try at Zuk I got it! You really helped make one of my ultimate osrs goals come true man and you really have my honest and sincere appreciation for that alone. Thank you so, so much for making this perfect guide for people like me, and if somebody reads all of this and thinks Inferno is beyond you, trust me, you CAN do it! Thank you again brother!
I managed to get my cape 2 days ago! You have a really nice way of explaining things and making it sound simple! I got started with your guide and setup but slotted in budget gear, crystal+bowfa and guardian boots. I didn't have the fortified ward aswell so I used cshield, brought Ahrims top instead of Bandos to have some mage accuracy and reached high waves from the get go. HOWEVER I believe it is still beneficial for learners to just bite the bullet and learn 1 Tick alternating. As soon as I started doing it "properly", swapped out my LB for suffering(don't have ROTG) and left the tank swaps in bank I cleared waves way faster. I feel like confidence is key to solve the difficult waves, you have to be okay with tanking the meele or a blob f.e. just to burst it down quickly. For Jads: right now because of the NPC defense changes you can use beta worlds to practice them with TzHaar-Ket-Rak's Challenges(they are all unlocked, you want to do the 3rd one). In Game options there is the possibility to copy your save to beta, so you will have all your items and stats. The Challenge is HARDER then triple jads in inferno, there will be 5 healers for each one also I think they attack on an 8 Tick cycle instead of 9 Tick. For Zuk: There is a website that can track zuk timers for you infernotimer dot com, i highly recommend having someone in vc manage the timer for you. Of course you should also practice zuk in the simulator. For me personaly the simulator felt more difficult then the real thing(if you ignore the pressure you feel during the real attempt).
Just wanted to comment and say I copied this setup/gear exactly (swap ward for crystal) and managed to finally down Zuk today! I watched several different guides (Aakyton, dearlola) and learned something from each of them but the tank gear helped me consistently get to triple jads. Took me like 7 or 8 zuks deaths to get the cape (definitely threw last friday after killing the 2nd ranger by attacking from the red tiles). But I did it. Your guide helps break everything down and it's all easy to understand. Thanks for making it.
These are the best guides for me by far the way you explain everything just clicks for me. Any chance of seeing a gaunt/cg speed runner guide in the future 😅
Definitely! I can do both of these, probably 1 video each. I will most likely do it in entry mode so we have lots of time to see the exact timing of things
To cool my nerves after reaching triples I ran the infernosim triple jad wave and I don't start the wave in game until I can do 3 minutes of flicking without making a mistake, I don't even kill them just switch prayers.
Wouldn't it have been a good idea to get Zuk closer to 240 while waiting for the 2nd set that way you spent less time trying to proc healers after the set timer started for set 3 especially for people will lower dps setups? That probably would have prevented getting set 3. While I wanted to learn inferno using the "proper" mechanics to make myself a better player this guide series certainly has me confident I can compelte the inferno one way or another. Thank you.
Yes, definitely. You are 100% correct to get him as close to 240 as possible (without accidentally proccing early!) My only excuse for not doing that, is that I am not used to stalling for a 3rd set, and I just kinda forgot😅. However, I was intentionally planning to stall a 2nd (and possibly?) 3rd set, simply to show how to deal with them if your dps was low. tldr; you are 100% correct.
Excellent vid dude, it's very easy to listen to you explain and describe what you're doing and how to do it. Also I assume that your yellow tiles become safe again once the healers are dead?
TYSM! I love reading these comments :) They supply me with motivation, to say the least! But NO!!! The yellow 'safespot' tiles become COMPLETELY OBSOLETE once the healers spawn. Zuk's timing of his attack cycle completely changes after his healers spawn, and the yellow tiles can NOT be considered to be 100% safe from that point on. Once the healers spawn, and for the rest of the kill from that point onward, we must consciously stay behind the shield at all times, and assume no tile is safe. Thank you for the fantastic question.

@@Le_vonn Jad skipping means you will have jad alive while dealing with healers, and your safespots will no longer be safe after 240 HP (when the healers spawn, zuks timing changes, and you have to consciously stay with the shield) Performing a jad skip is a grandmaster combat achievement.
