    When you said that was the sped sensor do you mean abs?

      The service manual calls it a speed sensor. Maybe it's both idk.

    I been hoping someone would record/film this. Thanks!…..not sure how tall you are but I am 6’ tall. Removing that butt/back support from the seat allows me to fully stretch my legs out in front of me like on the big cruiser bikes. Super comfortable and you no longer look like you are on a child’s bike with your knees up in the air. The one thing I hate about scooters.

      I'm 6' also but with the back rest pushed all the way back is fine for me, don't have no problems. Might give it a shot 🫡

    I would think that you should invest in a dial caliper to measure and record the dimensions of the axle tension blocks. I think that if you had measurements accurate to the thousandth of an inch and then repeat those measurements when you reassemble the rear wheel. That black mark could leave you anywhere in that marker space.

      @@paul5683 I've taken the wheel off multiple times since this, it doesn't need to be accurate. I'm going off Cyclepedia service manual that Kymco used to make the US version. Read my pinned comment, left is for tension right is for wheel/belt alignment. No problems going this route.

    Nice job! How many miles do you have on your AK? Were your original tires worn out?

    • @Kahuna_550
      @Kahuna_550  Рік тому

      6,800 miles. The tires were still good, probably for another 1k or more but I just wanted to change them out for something different.

      @@Kahuna_550 I just bought a 2022 AK550. It's still at the dealer in MN and I'm waiting for decent weather to ride it home to WI. Can't wait! I've enjoyed the videos you've made about your scoot so far. Hope you'll keep them coming!

    Is there more than 2 bolts on the top belt cover ?
    Thanks

      Just two. Two on top cover and two on bottom. They're held together with tabs.

    I have the 2022 Kymco AK 550i ABS, what is your specs on your REAR Brake Pads, and your Rotor?

    • @Kahuna_550
      @Kahuna_550  3 місяці тому

      @@justisstudding2101 Idk the specs but it should be the same regardless. 550i abs is a marketing thing, nothing different.
