On 3:50 the wobble is completely normal on higher torque and power bikes, i own an MT-09 from 2022 and have the same thing. It´s just due to the power of the bike and beeing a naked bike with a rather chill seatingposition, so you aren´t really putting that much pressure on the handlebars (so your center of gravity is more towards the back). But you can adjust the anti wheelie mode and traction controll mode to get the power slightly and controlled reduced (when accelerating hard) to get rid of the wobble, this works really well. You can also set the driving mode to a more chill option to get the acceleration / response less aggressive. This are my settings on my bike: TCS - 1 SCS - 2 LIF - 2 in drive mode 2 If all that doesn´t help you can still adjust your suspension, but the original settings from yamaha should be pretty good (at least its on mine).
It looks like you’re gripping the handlebars super tight, which could lead to wobble at high speed. Try riding with 1 or 2 fingers on the front brake lever to help loosen your grip a bit. This will also help with trail breaking in corners and if someone pulls out in front of you on the street. I had a Gen 3 MT09 and experienced the same sort of wobble until I relaxed my grip with the above method and never experienced it again. New tires will also help once you replace those. Hope this helps👍
Hey man after riding my 24 like a maniac for 1000 miles here’s a few points Noises are normal Quick shifter works wonders in city settings just go higher in the rpms and it’s always smooth. I legit didn’t use the clutch more than a few times since I got the bike Wobble isn’t normal. I didn’t get any even at 100+ mph, maybe you’re gripping the handlebar to much, have the bike checked
@@SlavKinG667 I test rode a standard MT09 a month ago and that had the same handlebar shimmy. It seemed speed dependent and was at its worse around 35mph. I’m due to ride the SP this week so I’ll report back. I’ve been riding for 40 plus years and never experienced anything like it
Check your suspension settings. Bought mine in BKK and they were all completely wrong, rear rebound was at 8 OUT. Like riding a plank of wood. No static sag at all.
Hey I've had the 24' MT-09 since april this year, regarding your dislikes, chain is very tight from the factory it should get better after first service, I don't really have issue with wobble I would reccomend setting up the suspension properly, mine had literally no preload from factory so unless you set it up it will be really bad. Comfort seat and tank grips were on top of my list when I got this bike and they are great but try and rest your but agaist the rear seat, it shoud give you more room to rest your knees on the side of front seat instead the tank, the engine sometimes sounds like a can of bolts especially below 3k rpm and it's just how it is, the 3 cylinder isn't as perfectly balanced as inline 4 and CP3 has a hydraulic cam chain tensioner which is very rattly in low rpm.
I had the same problem with the very light front end when I first got my 2020 MT09SP i put a steering damper on and that made the bike a lot better . Loving the screen in dark mode looks better also if you get the Yamaha app you can get navigation on your bike's screen.
I have the same problems that you said too I did 1100k plus when I brake sometimes I hear a sound from the front brakes apparently the brake plates hit on the disk .. I went to the dealership and they told me this is all normal I came from an mt 07 I never had this problems I’m kinda disappointed
The chain noise is a Yamaha thing. I had that too on my 2022 MT07 and from what I can see the MT09 is the same (mine is due to arrive in 2 weeks). Have the chain tension checked mate, mine needed adjustment during the 1st 200km and again at 600km (from new).

Beautiful bike! This model is quite expensive here in Singapore and cost about 27k USD. Hope I can get it one day
WOW! That’s almost twice the price I paid in Thailand! That’s pretty wild!
