Advice: leave your comments/writings in the video longer on the screen so we have the time to read them! For most of them there not enough time to read them to the end...Nice ride...I am buying one now, the black one MT09 2024...coming from a Ducati Hypermotard 698 mono...coming from MT 07...Happy riding on your SP! And of course do more videos and ensure we have the time to read to the end the comments/notes you put in writting in your videos, OK? Best, Olivier Mannie, Belgium
Test rode mt09 and experienced the same thing you did starting from a dead stop. Almost stalled it multiple times. It's as if it hates any throttle from a stop lol. Curious if it is just a matter of riding the clutch longer than what someone is used to on a cruiser / middle weight
Yes that’s sounds coming from the engine breaking while down shifting. They’re not crazy noticeable pops and burbles though compared to what I’ve heard from other bikes.

Nice and safe riding mate, good observation. Cool riding too. Subbed.
Sp version was taking so long and i get a great deal on the duke 890R new 2023
Audio sounds good. What’s your helmet/mic setup?
Thanks! My set up is a Shoei GT-Air3 with a Purple Panda mic.

You're going to have to flash it. Yamaha had to make almost everything about the 4th gen worse (including the looks) to pass emissions standards.
Are those pops and burbles audible when you're engine braking or is it just the mic that's picking them up?

The bike pops and burbles constantly on engine braking. I notice it a lot, and love it. 🙂 Never noticed it at all on my SV650X or MT 07.
Looped🤣 its was 2" of the ground lol
