    I think so.

    Saw Queen two times: first time in 1974, second time in 1977. At that time i couldn't foresee that almost 50 years later they were still famous and touring, although nobody can touch Freddie.

    I was lucky enough to see Queen about a dozen times from the early 1970s to the last Wembley concert in 1986. They were always amazing…

    This was filmed in 35 mm, the same as a movie so the quality is superb and makes it feel like it happened yesterday instead of 40 years ago. Amazing!

    That “S” on his chest. How appropriately fitting! Freddie Mercury is the best but also the chemistry they had in Queen. It rarely ever happens.

    I don't have to imagine, I saw them on this tour in 1980 and for the Hot Space album tour in 1982. Both amazing shows! Want another good one? Try "Save Me" from this concert, it was a new song off the Game album, in fact the last one on the record, I don't remember it getting much airplay back then, Play the Game, Another One Bite the Dust and Crazy Little Thing Called Love got the most. Save me is a real show stopper.

    I’m not sure what all the background noise was, it detracted a little bit but still I enjoyed this. One of my top favourite live performances for sure, and since Queen were always better live, that’s saying something! Dragon Attack from this same concert is funky, it’s sexy, it’s a jam session! White Queen live at Hammersmith 1975 is absolutely incredible, the instrumental segment between Freddie’s piano and Brian’s guitar, will give you chills from start to finish , they are so in sync with each other

    • @lollinelson5549

      The background noise sounds like a dryer or something. It was very difficult to hear Queen's performance. I wish she would turn the volume up on the video, especially if she does your other suggestions! All great by the way. Thanks.

  • @Pixelologist

    For a great many bands, that would've been the pulling-out-all-the-stops finale of the show. For Queen, that was merely the fourth song into the evening's performance.

    Go down the Queen rabbit hole and find all their songs. There so eclectic since every member wrote songs. Each wrote a #1 song - only band to do so! Try live at Hyde Park 1976 “Every Breath You Take” and “Love of My Life live in Wembley, U.K. play the music louder please. We can’t hear it!

  • @thomasjacques5286

    The entire band is OFF THE CHARTS. Roger Taylor's drumming and backing vocals are epic. But so glad this is on video for future generations to enjoy. And your hearing just 4 dudes playing live WITHOUT any trickery. Try and focus on the other three members' contributions to the song.

  • @jamescrane2156
    @jamescrane2156 3 роки тому +1

    With show time approaching, towels and drinks for the band’s refreshment on stage would now be strategically placed: water and beer for Fred, beer for Brian and Roger and the Backstage Bar for John, comprising water, beer, soft drinks, wine and whatever spirit or cocktail he fancied at the time: Southern Comfort, vodka or tequila.
    - Peter Hince (aka Ratty), Fred’s and John’s roadie and head of Queen’s crew.

    Yay!! My favorite song in the whole world!! Freddie Mercury wrote this song inspired by the great Aretha Franklin. That’s why it has a Gospel vibe to it. This is a fan favorite & every time Queen performed this song it was uniquely different! 💝 All members of Queen have written #1 hits and all members are in the Song Writer’s Hall of Fame and Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.
    Tell me at what point did you fall in love with Freddie 💗 & Brian, Roger, & John!
