Brian is back in short order. You see Freddie look back to notice his arrival & the whole thing goes on nearly seamlessly. I think he earned a 10!!!

Someone may have already mentioned this, but Freddie didn’t drink beer at the shows. He didn’t want to burb. Freddie would typically keep tea with honey to drink and if you noticed, he took that drink right before he hit a big note

@@susanhinshelwood812 Totally agree, for me though I just found more enjoyable as an overall concert the 1986 concert at Wembley which was quite an amazing concert! For this particular song I don’t think I’ve seen him sing it any better than he does right here Live in Montreal, I sure do miss him! 💔
I have zero musical expertise. But, I get goose bumps when Freddie’s voice and the piano start doing their thing. What a talent. What a showman. And what a loss for us all when he died. ❤️
Freddie at the top of his game was absolutely the best. Even with a throat infection and doctors telling him not to perform, he still gave the greatest live performance in history at Live Aid... that's how amazing the guy was. Most singers would kill to be as good as Freddie on an off day.

Have to say I absolutely adore that smile on your face from the moment Freddie started till the end. This is why we Queen fans are so happy to watch new reactors because we know they will not only be blown away but just can’t help like us being happy. Great reaction. From the UK 🇬🇧.
Wow… how amazing was this? Somebody to Love live is the greatest performance I have ever seen alongside this. Where all four band members are so in sync with each other. It is emotionally moving no words could ever describe. Freddie was our Mozart and tragically we did not realise it when he was alive…. I hope whatever is on the other side he is feeling how much we love absolutely everything about him. He and Queen are the only fabulous people who literally take me out of my crappy life, worries, losses and problems…. I put my headphones on and play this, I am no longer in my living room with a pile of bills, people hassling me by phone, text or messages…..I am in my heaven, mesmerised, captivated and made to believe I am special ♥️ It never gets old and when I see you good people enjoying it as much as me it is truly heart warming. I was a little girl when Queen did the Live Aid concert. I just remember it was something really exciting to look forward to here in England, like a Royal wedding, after Charles marrying Diana… It was that much of an event. My mam who was from Limerick in Ireland knocked up a massive pan of Irish stew that morning, so when we got hungry during the epic day me and my brother could just go and help ourselves during the artist change overs so we wouldn’t miss a thing! Following the release the previous Christmas in 1984 of Band Aids Do They Know It’s Christmas single, which I actually still have. My big brother saved up money from his Saturday job at a butcher’s to buy it for me…. My birthday is the 21st December so it was a combined present along with Wham’s Last Christmas which came out at the same time. Besides Star Wars toys that was my greatest present of all time 😊 I clearly remember when Freddie ran out on to that stage it was like the lights had been truly switched on….Thank you so much for making a lonely lady feel like I am not….. for you are transported to planet Mercury with me for a little while. I have just discovered your channel and I look forward to learning from your other mini movies…. Your breathless astounding silence at the end was priceless at the end of Somebody to Love. 😌Take care handsome man….Julie from the other side of the world…..Manchester, England 💋x
Hello from 🇺🇸 Freddie Mercury is by far the best performer I’ve ever seen ❤️ I was a child when Queen was at their peek I am a huge fan of Freddie mercury I love all his music I am simply obsessed with him he has the most amazing vocal range I’ve ever heard he can sing anything including opera great songwriter I love every performance he was never boring had a great vibrato and to think this is all live Touring day after day , moving about up-and-down the stage you would think he’d run out of breath and he still manages to hit all these notes and sound amazing love him always❤️ Would love to see a reaction to “You take my breath away” in Hyde Park 1976 he is simply amazing in this song just beautiful you got a listen to it‼️💯❤️
Thank you for watching. I will add you take my breath away to my very very extensive To Do list. I lived in the states for a few years. Beautiful country, people and had a great time. Much love and greetings from Australia
Thank you so very much for giving the song a full listen without stopping to comment. Very rare from a vocal coach, singing teacher or reactor. I watch every reaction to this song. I just don't get tired of it ever. Great giving Kudos to May and Taylor!
Freddie was absolutely a gift from God. He gave him the extraordinary talent to sing, and he used it to his fullest….and it’s that voice & showmanship with Queen that we all love.
Hello I’m from Melbourne Australia as well . Thankyou for reacting to Queen . I love Queen and listen to them every single day . Freddie’s voice is mesmerising. I love him so much . In his 45 short yrs of life he has left a lifetime of his memories and voice. RIP MY BEAUTIFUL FREDDIE ❤️❤️💛
Freddie always had water & honey on hand. I’ve never seen him drink much beer. That sip he took as he came back to piano, was just to whet his whistle before that huge note at the end.
Great reaction! You should check out You Take My Breath Away from Queen live at Hyde Park 1976, to hear Freddie doing something different. Freddie Mercury wrote Somebody To Love as somewhat of a tribute to Aretha Franklin, he loved her voice and singing. He only does the shaky jaw technique on Somebody To Love, he is likely copying other gospel singers. He himself did not really sing like that. That being said he did not always sing with perfect technique, but he generally had the basics down. A lot of people think that Freddie Mercury actually sang at his best right before his death, on the Innuendo album during 1989 - 1991.
You are one of the only singing teachers I have seen that isn't "snobby" about Freddie's voice, and that has also commented on Roger Taylor's voice. Their voices are fantastic. Freddie used to have hot honey and lemon in some of his cups (not all of them though lol)
Hello From Arizona U.S.A. I just found your channel and I must say I truly loved this reaction. Watching your reaction when Freddie hit those notes was priceless. Freddie was such a showman. In many of the live videos whenever they were going to sing either Radio GaGa or especially Under Pressure, you can witnessed the pure audiance control that Freddy has over the crowd. Rodger does a fantastic job singing in that song as well. He always delivered even when he sang against his doctor's advice when he had the flu and with a fever. I'm so happy that you mentioned Brian May and Roger Taylor. John Deacon was a bit shy but also a very good singer as well. Freddie drank mainly water with lemon and honey but did enjoy a beer or two on stage. It's also known that John Deacon had basically a cocktail bar back by the amps. You can tell when he had a few because that's when you see actually relax in front of the crowd and get into his groove. They didn't call him Disco Deaky for no reason! Damn great bass player.Keep reacting to Queen!
When u re-listen, listen to Freddie’s vibrato. Un-trained. Freddie’s vibrato was studied by scientists. (Faster than Pavarotti’s). Again, un-trained. Freddie & Whitney are my 2 favs. Freddie was also a brilliant songwriter. Poet. He is a human instrument of music. And, yes, his range is stunning. This is the greatest of all time. I miss Freddie. I wish he could be sent back. His birthday is Sept 5. We lost him 30 years ago, and he is still unmatched by others. Freddie lives on…
Thanks for reacting to this stellar Queen performance. The entire band did an outstanding job. I really appreciate you calling out Brian and Roger’s vocals which sometimes get overlooked. I agree with you that Roger was outstanding. In this same concert, Roger takes the lead in “I’m in Love with my Car,”, which is worth a listen. Another concert which really stands out in my mind is the 1986 Wembley Magic Tour concert. For great live , please consider reacting to Under Pressure and Who Wants to Live Forever from the Wembley concert.
9 and 3 quarters not to be sniffed at of course. Clearly many performers never even hit a 9. Not in their entire career. But a 10 for me though bud. Imo there is no live performance that's better than this one. The whole band was spot on. Epic. Also let's not forget this is half way through a 2 hour plus concert. And those guys put the same intensity into every song they do. 100% effort! Just one of the things that separates Queen from most everyone else. Nothing is done half-hearted.
The drinks on stage were generally honey drinks to help with his throat. Apparently Freddie thought it would be disrespectful to his audience if he drank on stage.
Freddie never ever drank beer during concerts. Always tea with honey (for his throat) - but in beer glasses. It had to look rock and roll. Freddie also always had a glass of champaign on his piano - that's why Brian's beautiful memorial song (Only the good die young) ends with a glass of champaign...
Great reaction. Very interesting. Roger's extraordinary breath control, putting so much energy into his drumming whilst singing harmonies with, as you said, his neck twisted to one side!
Thank you for watching this Montreal performance. I have seen Freddie singing an entire concert with laryngitis. He forced his voice to work at Live Aid 1985 ,even though his doctor had advised against it. 😊
album version does have tons of harmonies, yet they also have some here. mostly, it's huge, wonderful backup by Roger. Freddie is strong, so strong here. Beautiful song. i like the official video version and this version equally - different reasons - both just stellar.
I saw them at Maine Road Football ground in Manchester in 1986........and yes, they were absolutely brilliant, a day i'll remember for the rest of my life.
Going to a Queen concert was the ultimate in group participation!! That's what made rhem so great. Freddie knew how to get the party started and keep it going
In the outher cups is whater, thea with honey, sometimes juice too. He dont drank much beer on stage, all the cups are not his, but all who working at the stage altso had his whatever they drunk at Freddies piano……love to see your face 😃😃
Mostly his drinks were honey/lemon/water, I do think from other gigs the beer was there because John enjoyed it and he did not sing much. But hey nice, fair reaction... From UK,
This band, they are my absolute favorite, four human beings that were great when apart but went into legendary status when you put them together. I could go on about them for hours. I will spare you that. I meant to check so I apologize if you have reacted to this but I would love your reaction to “The Dance” performed by Kelly Clarkson at the Kennedy Center Honors this year for Garth Brooks. I believe this video will give you a lot to talk about in a reaction video. I am not an expert but she was exceptional. Thank you! 🙏 ❤️
Your face at that falsetto at the end.. that’s so wonderful isn’t it? To still be surprised even when u know you’re listening to this master? Good stuff✨
Thanks for your reaction to my favorite live performance of Queen. I've seen all videos from this concert and they all are great. Roger's voice was better than many lead singers'. If you want to hear something quite extraordinary from Freddie, listen to his Excercises In Free Love, which became later the Ensueno with the lyrics of Montserrat Caballé, a duet of these 2 great artists.
I absolutely loved Freddy and Montserrat Caballe's duo at the Olympics in Barcelona I believe. It was epic. I love that Ms .Caballe' came to see Freddie after hearing that Freddie loved her. They had a great visit and from what I read she and Freddie went to the studio and she recorded a special tape just for him. Now that is just beautiful.
What a powerful voice 🔥 I love Freddie so much❤ and entire bend ❤💞everyone who ever watched queen wishes to be there. I would kill to go to some concert 🤪🙈🙈he was great entertainer 👏 Roger is underrated singer. You should react to Killer queen & I'm in love with my car from Montreal 1981🚘 Roger is on the fire when he sang it 🔥🔥🔥
I love love love your wtf face at the end haha - went to many Queen concerts and we kind of expected this from Queen because they were so talented - but we always appreciated that Queen were special
Freddie was diagnosed with nodules on his vocal cords in 1975, which will mean more to you than most people. He refused to have them removed for fear it would permanently damage his voice. They did eventually limit his range in the last few years that he performed, but you would never know he was performing with any discomfort.
WOW!!!!!! I didn't know that!! I noticed a latter in his career, live he seem to push and sing a lot louder than what he did early in his career......Thank you for watching. Stay safe. Greetings from Melbourne.
Go and listen to the Queen fan podcast, there are people who have worked with Queen for years. They said Freddie was incorrectly diagnosed with nodules in 1975. He later on went to other doctors as well. He did not have nodules, but he was in danger of developing them. Male voices can change a lot until the age of 40. Freddie was a heavy voiced tenor, their voices always change from their youth. They often start off as Lyric Tenors or as Lyric Baritones. In opera heavy voiced tenors are not used until they at the very least reach the age of 35, or preferably older. These voices are very often incorrectly classified in their youth. Your voice gains weight and power as you age. Freddie was a Spinto Tenor, it is voice with some weight and power. Their voices often sound lower then what they are actually singing, because they have more lower frequencies in the voice, then a plain Lyric Tenor. It is a slightly lower voice then a Lyric Tenor, because of the weight of the voice. Here is a great example of Spinto Tenor Franco Corelli at the age of 35, (his voice is still actually to light here): ua-cam.com/video/EJo7eUa5KR0/v-deo.html Here is a later recording where his voice has gained enough power and depth: ua-cam.com/video/csuxsEO3Xw8/v-deo.html Freddie just finally grew into his correct voice as the years passed. The problem was that he always sang live in full chest voice, that is extremely difficult to do and it is very hard on the voice. He could have made things easier on himself if he used mixed voice more often.
@@ZENOBlAmusic WOOOOOOW!! Thank you very much for the informative information. Thank you for taking the time. I learnt a lot. Thank you for watching and greetings from Melbourne Australia. Stay safe.
@@voxsingingacademy Thank you, it seems like you guys are doing some good work! I would also say, that voice types are not important in popular music, but it can give you a lot of insight into someone's voice. There was always signs that Freddie Mercury was really a Spinto. He sang low notes quite well, which is something you find with heavy voiced tenors. He also had a very sharp laser pitch to his voice right from the start, that is a quality you only find in Spinto tenors. People don't understand these tenors that well, because they are rare, you will find a lot more of them in opera, most of the famous arias was written for Spinto tenors. Heavy voiced tenors are very popular in opera. These are still high voices, people often call heavy voiced tenors low tenors. They are tenors, they can hit the same high notes, they just have a slightly lower comfortable range. Their voices simply have weight, but it takes time to develop these qualities. In comparison Lyric Baritones have very light and agile voices. Heavy voiced tenors, usually have darker voices then Lyric Baritones. Freddie Mercury went to see a doctor in 1975, because he was trying to sing with too much power or a bigger voice then had at that stage. This is something that also often happens with heavy voiced tenors. They know they they have a more powerful voice in them, but it is often just not fully developed at that younger age. Meat Loaf had some of the same issues he is a Heldentenor, unfortunately it caused far more issues for him. A potential problem that Freddie Mercury might have experienced was that he likely could not hear himself on stage. Queen's stages grew and grew. He was often running around on stage in places where there was no wedge monitors. He could have sung as loudly as possible to hear himself. Chest voice is obviously your loudest voice, but also your lowest voice. Here is a nice example from 1986, where Freddie Mercury start off with some B4 notes in mixed voice. He then switches back to A4 in chest voice. He used that mixed voice when he was directly in front of the stage with very little other instrumentation. He uses falsetto as well but it disappears underneath all of the sound. ua-cam.com/video/aMhQyuS_lYA/v-deo.html These are the usual problems that all performers have to face to some degree of course. Your voice will become tried when you use that much chest voice on high notes, but it does sound very powerful.
Hi new sub from Melbourne. A Queen fan since the beginning. White Queen Odeon Hammersmith 1975 is really fantastic. Freddie didn't want the nodules fixed he said he didn't want strange instruments put down his throat. He also said he didn't like the doctor that's Freddie. Source from Freddies book.
God I miss Freddie! His voice was perfect. The whole band so profound. Their concerts I so miss. Each was unique. True professionals doing what they love. Btw Freddie drank tea with lemon and water. The beer was for the band mostly. Lol.
Take a look at the concert they did in 1986 at Wembley, a full two hours of magic. There's a section where Freddie improvs that's unbelievable. I've heard that his drink of choice was honey and lemon.
I'm a person of many genres and a few languages, but what Freddy's music does to me no one else can do. It brings out all these feelings at the same time. Its remarkable and unexplainable at the same time. Its just mesmerizing to listen to.
Marc Martel is a wonder as a cover singer who sound so much like Freddie Mercury it is kind of like having Freddie back. Marc did the musical vocals for the movie, Bohemian Rapsody. He is incredibly talented. Of course there will never be another Freddie Mercury. RIP Freddie! Queen is my first love in wonderful world of music 🎶 🎵 🎶 🎵
My favorite Queen song!! 💟 P E R F E C T I O N 💟 No matter how many times I’ve seen Queen do Somebody To Love live it’s always uniquely different!! ☮️ I actually prefer the live version in Milton Keynes 1982. 💜💜 Great reaction!! 💜 MARCH OF THE BLACK QUEEN ….. Next ☪️
Nine and 3 quarters out of 10? Really? I am not a professional singer or vocal teacher but I sing and play a couple of instruments, and I have been on this earth and, at the very least, listening to music since 1958, and if Freddie Mercury doesn’t get a 10 out of 10 for this performance, then no one ever will. Don’t forget that this was a live performance, just one song out of a 2-hour concert. (and not at the beginning of the concert either.) Freddie wrote the song, is (obviously) the lead singer, plays the keyboard part in the song, goes back and forth from singer/piano player to band front man and keeps the audience engaged, and then improvises who knows how many measures at the end of the song. Freddie should get a 10 out of 10 for this, and so should the entire band, for that matter. Just my opinion, but, seriously, come on now. You don’t have to be a huge Queen or Freddie Mercury fan to give them/him the credit due.
@@voxsingingacademy Didn’t mean you should change your assessment. But there are plenty of other Queen performances which are 9 and 3/4. For that matter, there are plenty of Queen performances that are 5 out of 10, at best. As good as they were, they are human. But that performance? That is one of Queen’s best, if not one of the best live rock band performances ever, as many people with critical knowledge have agreed. But if I was your voice student and then I listened to that performance by Freddie, and heard you give it less than a 10 out of 10, I might be afraid to sing a single note in front of you. And, not for nothing, if you are hoping to get some of the millions of rabid Queen fans to follow your channel (it only makes sense to try that), giving Freddie less than a 10 out of 10 on one of his best performances might be considered unforgivable by lots and lots and lots of potential followers for your channel. Btw, as strong as Freddie’s voice was in 1981, Brian May has said that Freddie was at his peak in 1986, so you may want to check some of their later performances. Have you seen their 1985 Live Aid 20-minute set? They had just finished up a tour and Freddie’s voice was shot, and was advised by the doctor not to perform for fear of causing permanent damage. But they went forward anyway and knocked it out of the park. In a huge way. Worth watching, for anyone who likes music.
The two best live performances I have ever seen in my whole life: 1. Somebody to love Montreal 1981, Queen. Nothing, absolutely nothing could compare to it. 2. Comfortably Numb, Pulse Concert 1994, Pink Floyd. Both performances are outstanding until today....
@@ulrikealtmann4655 thank you. I will check them out. Particularly Pink Floyd. I remember buying the CD with the red light the pulse in the spine of the CD.
I've always been of the opinion of Freddie being the greatest and Queen "reinventing music". I wish a lot of younger people would listen to Queen and see that music is just the best without autotune. Loved watching the reaction and the tips at the end for any other people who want to sing!
It's a good idea to listen to somebody to love studio version acapella with freddie's isolated vocals. you can find it on youtube, it will put a smile on your face! :)
Show-wise, I personally wasn't a fan of Fred's voice much in the 86 period. Too hoarse and smoky for me. 79 the Crazy Tour Europe leg was his best vocal performance I think. I also enjoyed the 1974-1975 period.
@@BurningFlame08 Freddie was fine in 1986 it was a very good tour, he was just sick at the Wembley 1986 concert which every one thinks of as his 1986 voice. His voice was at it's most powerful in 1986. You get many different types of voices, real powerful tenor voices are very, very rare. It is far better sound, then singing like everyone else.

Hello from 🇺🇸 Freddie Mercury is by far the best performer I’ve ever seen ❤️ I was a child when Queen was at their peek I am a huge fan of Freddie mercury I love all his music I am simply obsessed with him he has the most amazing vocal range I’ve ever heard he can sing anything including opera great songwriter I love every performance he was never boring had a great vibrato and to think this is all live Touring day after day , moving about up-and-down the stage you would think he’d run out of breath and he still manages to hit all these notes and sound amazing love him always❤️
Would love to see a reaction to “You take my breath away” in Hyde Park 1976 he is simply amazing in this song just beautiful you got a listen to it‼️💯❤️
Thank you for watching.
Thank you for watching. Stay safe.
Freddie was absolutely a gift from God. He gave him the extraordinary talent to sing, and he used it to his fullest….and it’s that voice & showmanship with Queen that we all love.
Thank you for watching and greetings from Australia

Hello I’m from Melbourne Australia as well . Thankyou for reacting to Queen . I love Queen and listen to them every single day . Freddie’s voice is mesmerising. I love him so much . In his 45 short yrs of life he has left a lifetime of his memories and voice. RIP MY BEAUTIFUL FREDDIE ❤️❤️💛
Freddie always had water & honey on hand. I’ve never seen him drink much beer. That sip he took as he came back to piano, was just to whet his whistle before that huge note at the end.
Thank you for watching. Stay safe
@@voxsingingacademy It wasn’t beer. Freddie Mercury didn’t drink beer on stage. It was tea with honey.
@@peterd788 okay thank you.
👑❣️👑❣️👑 Queen are phenomenal and that last comment about feeling energised … somehow Queen/Freddie always makes me feel happier no matter what . !
Yes agreed. Particularly don't stop me now. It makes me feel great.Thank you for watching. Greetings from Melbourne
Thank you! And thank you for watching. Stay safe and greetings from Melbourne.
Безподобно!!!
I also thought you are a good singing teacher compared to the rest on line 🥁🎹🎸
@@janetbrown1183 thank you very much! And thank you for watching. Please take care.
But he didn't drink beer during performances. He said he never wanted to risk offending his audience with a burp or belch during a performance.
For me, they are perfect, all on point, Freddie was full of energy! I love it
Nice reaction. Freddie had water and honey. I'm glad you gave Roger credit hes a great drummer
Roger is also a very good singer. Thank you for watching and greetings from Australia
I love your smile. You know it's fantastic.
I saw Queen in 1977. I was a junior in high school, 16 years old. Incredible concert! 🎶💯💓

Thank you for so much information. I really appreciate you taking the time. Thank you.....Thank you for watching. Stay safe. Greetings from Melbourne.
takes your breath away..fabulous...geiuus to 110 %
Freddie could teach all of the singing teachers one handedly.
I was so impressed that you waited until the end of the performance to give your reaction!!!
Freddie lives on…
Thank you very much for the insight. Yes he is an amazing voice that is dearly missed. Stay safe and greetings from Melbourne.
His 4-octave range with that fast vibrato is unmatched. He could go up & down the scale in the same word.
Thank you &

9 and 3 quarters not to be sniffed at of course. Clearly many performers never even hit a 9. Not in their entire career.
But a 10 for me though bud. Imo there is no live performance that's better than this one. The whole band was spot on. Epic.
Also let's not forget this is half way through a 2 hour plus concert. And those guys put the same intensity into every song they do. 100% effort! Just one of the things that separates Queen from most everyone else. Nothing is done half-hearted.
Thank you for watching. Stay safe. Much love from Australia.

9 and 3 quarters!? Please!
The one & only Freddie Mercury, never to be duplicated!!! Luv your reactions, they remind me of a young school boy, who just got a new toy!!!
Thank you for watching and greetings from Melbourne Australia. Stay safe.
The drinks on stage were generally honey drinks to help with his throat. Apparently Freddie thought it would be disrespectful to his audience if he drank on stage.
Born to be a Rockstar ☝️
Freddie never ever drank beer during concerts. Always tea with honey (for his throat) - but in beer glasses. It had to look rock and roll.
Freddie also always had a glass of champaign on his piano - that's why Brian's beautiful memorial song (Only the good die young) ends with a glass of champaign...
Great reaction. Very interesting. Roger's extraordinary breath control, putting so much energy into his drumming whilst singing harmonies with, as you said, his neck twisted to one side!
Thank you for watching. Stay safe
Thank you for watching. Greetings from Melbourne.

It's insane, that he did that life, I cant get over it, it's better than the studio album.

Will check these out. Thank you for watching. Stay safe.

Here is a great example of Spinto Tenor Franco Corelli at the age of 35, (his voice is still actually to light here):
ua-cam.com/video/EJo7eUa5KR0/v-deo.html
Here is a later recording where his voice has gained enough power and depth:
ua-cam.com/video/csuxsEO3Xw8/v-deo.html
Freddie just finally grew into his correct voice as the years passed.
He uses falsetto as well but it disappears underneath all of the sound.
ua-cam.com/video/aMhQyuS_lYA/v-deo.html
These are the usual problems that all performers have to face to some degree of course. Your voice will become tried when you use that much chest voice on high notes, but it does sound very powerful.
@@ZENOBlAmusic thank you very much for the information. It was much appreciated. Thank you for watching and greetings from Australia.

Okay! 10 out of 10!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for watching. Stay safe. Greetings from Melbourne.
The two best live performances I have ever seen in my whole life:
1. Somebody to love Montreal 1981, Queen. Nothing, absolutely nothing could compare to it.
2. Comfortably Numb, Pulse Concert 1994, Pink Floyd.
Both performances are outstanding until today....

if your a voice, i would imagine you would enjoy listening to Freddie singing with Monserrat Kabale - Barcellona
Absolute peak for them was 1986 regarding live performances.
Show-wise, I personally wasn't a fan of Fred's voice much in the 86 period. Too hoarse and smoky for me. 79 the Crazy Tour Europe leg was his best vocal performance I think. I also enjoyed the 1974-1975 period.
Live at the Rainbow 1974 is bettter.
