Fun fact: Superman wears a Freddie Mercury tank top.
Freddie was a great fan and admirer of Aretha Franklin and it shows in this performance. It's like he's testifying in church.
Some Queen I recommend beyond Bohemian Rhapsody: Liar, Death on Two Legs, Flick of the Wrist, Tear It Up, Spread Your Wings, We Will Rock You (seriously, Adam Lambert?), Play The Game, White Queen @ Hammersmith '75, Flash, I Want It All, I Want to Break Free, Under Pressure @ Wembley '86, Jailhouse Rock and Another One Bites The Dust, both from this concert, The Show Must Go On and No One But You (Only The Good Die Young).

Freddie Mercury is the best male vocal frontman in Rock of all time!! This band is incredible and legendary and three of their musicians could all have easily been lead singers.. the bass player would sing sometime but he was better known for his awesome bass skills and writing Another One Bites the Dust and several other good Queen songs.

Great react! It always means more when someone with your singing and drumming talents enjoys this so much. Freddie and Queen did a W I D E variety of songs. My favorite rock number is Another One Bites the Dust, live at Wembley, where Freddie also throws in a little scat singing, the song you just did above, from Montreal; also Hyde Park 1976 You Take My Breath Away, live, simply and stunningly beautiful, just Freddie and piano. You should also enjoy the three songs here in the Barcelona set that he did with famous Spanish opera soprano Montserrat Caballe (one song sung partly in Japanese, Freddie singing in Spanish with her). I just bought the CD and would HIGHLY recommend it to opera fans, Freddie fans, and anyone in between. The music on it is MAGNIFICENT! Put on your best headphones and turn up the volume.

Little fun fact about freddie and your comment about being a rockstar. Before freddie teamed up with roger and Brian (drummer, guitar) he use to tell everyone he was going to be a rockstar someday. In the documentary I saw about queen, an old acquaintance of Freddie's said that one day he ran into freddie looking all sad. So he asks freddie what's wrong. Freddie's head was hanging low and he said "I'm not going to be a rockstar someday". Before the other guy could console him he said freddie sat up straight and lifted his head and said "I'm not going to be a rockstar. I'm going to be a legend!!!!" 😎😂
Bohemian rhapsody Montreal live is amazing like the others said on here. I think "death on 2 legs" lyric video is epic and worth checking out. Not the live one. One with lyrics. They wrote and dedicated the song to their asshole manager they had fired. He was hoarding the money queen was bringing in. They were raking in the cash and only getting a small stipend. They didnt hold back exactly how they felt about the manager at all in it. I almost felt sorry for the guy. Almost. Lol. Brutal. 😂🤣

If you have the dvd and watch him sing in Montreal where this was, youll see Freddie crying. You cant see it on a pc but watch it on a tv. You really feel he was always trying to find someone to love. Well you probably know there are many that love you. Great job Marc. Just subbed

Freddie Mercury is a legend, that left this world way too soon. Not many have a voice like that.. he could hit 4 octaves.
By the way, I wanted to keep listening to you singing lol.

This live performance shows how critical Roger Taylor was to both rhythm and supporting vocals 🙏🏼

It's taken me 40 years to fully appreciate that Queen as we love them couldn't exist without the incredible talents of ALL FOUR of these men. Roger owned this one.
