Emil Madsen It would be fun track day car. I don't think it would be precise enough to teach you fine car control. You want something that is precise and consistent so you can improve yourself instead of blaming the car, aka spending more money.

@@befalcon9498 What if The grand tour every episode increased by 30 min, and having these two doing bits on cars and wheels etc ? of course along with clarkson may and hammond. 5 hosts but not together always.

still its a way harder car to drift due to it being MR..a MX5 a bit on steroids should drift quite easier
The MX-5 is more fun to beat on, MR is a bit crappy when you want to go all out as you need a race track.

This is hilarious. I run a Eunos Roadster, and love it to bits. I know Chris isn't keen on them, and fair play, he drives (and owns) machinery of a far higher caliber. But the banter and mickey-taking is great fun. Cheers for making a great film.

chris harris is legend. he's by far the best motoring journalist imo. I want to see him with jeremy Richard and James on their new show. chris could do the lap times on all the new cars they test since he is a wicked driver.
Starting to have a lot more confidence in new Top Gear, knowing Chris is on board after watching this.
I sold my jag xk8😢and now Im looking at a mk 3mazda as a convertible ride.
It'll have to be a 2006 edition with reasonable miles for what Im spending....but there's so many variants....1.8 , 2L, sports,.......Hard to know what I can get by without to save money.

I actually drifted my 1.6 open dif. I was on a runway where the pavement wasn't like asphalt. The floor itself was naturally slippery.
