Bill Hader just keeps getting hotter.
ughhhhh i know right
i literally cant stand how hot he is
Just here in July 2021 to say yeeeeesssss 😍
Yes he does!!
@@blacksmokechat1311 Does it seem lately like he's intentionally trying to be less hot? Like he's done with the attention?
you can tell by his hair he had either just finished or just started filming it chapter two 😆
Alec Berg is the man behind the scenes and deserves a lot of credit. He is a great writer that also worked on Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
I've seriously considered getting HBO subscription just to watch Barry on a binge.
HBO has several excellent shows that make the subscription worth it by themselves; Ballers, Silicon Valley, Game of Thrones, Westworld, Entourage, Vice Principals, the one season of The Brink (it was incredible, but they didn't renew it for a second season), Eastbound and Down, there are a few more that look intriguing but I haven't watched yet, like Rome. And if you're into war tv shows then HBO has some that really show war in a different light than other networks. The Pacific, Band of Brothers, and Generation Kill all have documentary-like aspects but are still very entertaining and engaging, while showing war for what it is to warfighters, a poisonous drug. Sometimes it's euphoric, oftentimes it's maddening, usually it's deadly.
Well i did that for the second season 😂 i recommend doing that to everyone
I'm using a 7 day trial to binge it.
UA-cam. HD the season for $20. Worth it.

This is a comedy series, but seriously there are so many heartfelt moments throughout the show, which i am not going to spoil it here. My mission now is to recommend this how to all my friends.
For me personally I look at it the other way. It's a drama because the leads are good enough to hold up a drama series, yet the comedy is subtle and fucking hilarious without trying. It's like the most recent Fargo series. Utterly hilarious but more of a drama than a comedy.
@Harper Funkhouser it’s officially described as a “black comedy” or “dark comedy” in the reviews. Those are legit forms of comedy.

Just binged season 2 over the last two days and my god it's really one of the best shows I've ever seen
Kept me on the edge lf my seat
I didn't start watching Barry until yesterday. Amazing show.
jealous. i wish i could rediscover this show again
Barry Berkman did this.
There’s so much intrinsic conflict and it makes Barry incredible
If Barry dies in the end, I really hope he gets well and happy first.
I feel like it's going the BB route where any fragment of happiness Barry gets will be sniped on sight
@@AmyLameyBobamey BB route? :)
@@TwiPrime breaking bad
@@AmyLameyBobameyOhhhhhhh! Gotcha.
Well he didnt
Comedians make the best killers. I've known this for years. Audience perception and giving them a chance to oppose that perception makes it work.
I just decided to watch Barry. The name and cover art were so unattractive that it took me this long to watch it. It's really good. I imagine there are many people like me who chose not to watch it initially due to the name and cover art.
I can attest to the fact that so many U.S. military vets get out and really struggle to find their identity after service. It was a struggle for me.

100% me. I have HBO and been skipping that face ad for the longest times till last week i accidentally read a random youtube comment somewhere that it said: after game of thrones Barry is the next thing to watch on HBO. And the only thing. Quickly watched first episode and today i binged the whole second season.
yeah i absolutely love bill hader but i had been avoiding it for the cover art. now that ive seen the show the cover art makes sense and makes me smile so like, you win some you lose some i guess
cover art? Where?
What NONE of the interviews - anywhere - mention is how this is basically a autobio of #BillHader 's life. He was damned good as a comedian on SNL - but it was destroying his mind & health. He has nearly lost the sight in his left eye due an autoimmune disorder brought about by stress.
#Barry
where did the last part mention in?
Love Bill Hader
As do I.
Absolutely cannot wait for Season 3! #Barry
I am so ready for season 3!
Me to
"Yep, Alec Berg. He's got a good 'John Houseman' name. Alec Beeerg.
Mr. Beeerg."
wow, this was a fantastic interview. I thought it was going to be same old same old after the first question, but some interesting stuff got brought up!
Amazing show!🏆🏆👏👏👏 And Bill is the best! 👑❤ Beautiful man🔥❤
Yeha
bill is so funny jshsj
that 'being there' reference. swoon.
I know... That's when Peter Sellers started losing his mind - sadly.
So what was the first idea they had that they knew wouldn't work? oops, never mind, I should have waited til the end.
Richie is that u?
Noo
Those of us who live in Cleveland really appreciate how the Barry cast deliver “Ohio” and “Cleveland” and “fucking Cleveland.”
Funny how Bill realized how bad of an interviewer she is so he asked her a question then laughs
7:50 Bill picking up the slack for the terrible interviewer.
*PLEASE* don't let the tv show become preachy... that will ruin it. There are no more good shows because they are becoming agenda driven and Barry is story/character driven which is why it's so refreshing and amazing.
Is “preachy” & “agenda-driven” code for something...? 😏
@@isabella-a-a-a Yes. I would like this show to stay irreverent and not start in on the cringy moral grandstanding.
Culley Derouin while, i think you’re making an argument in good faith, the wording can become politicized. The show is good because it shows and tells the audience just the right amount. It leaves us wondering what he has all done, as well as the way he feels currently about what has happened. He’s a real character. I think you want earnest characters that tell sincere stories rather than, a character based on the idea they want to be. In some ways barry’s girlfriend shows this in the way that she has trauma, real trauma, but she WANTS to be independent. But what makes her want independence is all the moments that she has been reduced.
@@culleyderouin7434 this show is actually extremely moral and grapples with morality on a very deep and visceral level. i feel like you... aren't watching it right if you haven't noticed that?
