Never played this game myself, but weirdly enough I feel like the most "non-kirby" element of this game is the fact that kirby can drown. Like that just feels wrong for some reason, lol.
A Kirby Mass Attack video in 2022! Colour me surprised. An underrated gem in the Kirby franchise, with a lot of details, bonus features, and completion challenges. Well done on taking on this challenge, and putting it all together. :)
Kirby mass was technically my first full on Kirby game and honestly. It’s so ducking good dude seriously it still holds up for me. I just ordered a Kirby themed controller and have a few collectibles of the pink puff ball. I love him
This was my very first exposure to Kirby, I got the game for my birthday in 2011. I was addicted since day one! I would take the game everywhere especially to a waterpark hotel. I would often associate the game with the waterpark due to this. I even took my DS in the car and listen to the music in this game wherever I go! Then I found out Kirby was a franchise and I wanted to play more games! So here I am now, a big Kirby fan! And I have Mass Attack to thank!
I've heard of mass attack before but never saw any actual content of it aside from a few short clips in unrelated videos, so this is the first mass attack related video I saw and I must say, this looks like a fun game with a lot of cool concepts!
@@Ansel_G I don't have a ds, idk how emulation works, and I dont want to pirate a game, so sadly I don't think I'll ever get to play it. But this was an interesting challenge for sure! I'll have to check out some normal gameplay sometime.
@@HappyXID I have it on my ds and it's definitely better on normal hardware but emulated is still fun (this video was made using an emulator). I don't really think it's too bad to pirate a game like this though since ds games are super expensive nowadays (maybe it'll come out on NSO sometime in the future though)

@@HappyXID you can use a real copy if you own a hacked ds/3ds but at that point you could just play it on actual hardware. Emulation is safe for the most part, you just have to be careful where you get your files from a good thing to do would be to get a content blocker and a vpn just in case.
Dude you do not know how happy this video makes me. Kirby mass attack was my first ever video game and one of my earliest memories include laying on the floor with my ds and trying to move kirby with the joystick because i couldn’t (or just didn’t) read until i asked my dad for help like a month later or something. I’ve been looking for a one kirby challenge of this game for 2 or 3 years now and this appeared in mu recommended. Sure, it’s not actually a 1 kirby challenge, but it’s the closest I’ve ever gotten, with no other results even close to this one, so finally finding this video makes me so happy!

Funnily, when I had to do the rocket level, I did only bring one single piece too. I had the 10 Kirbys tho, but it was very hilarious to realize that I couldn't add pieces without getting right away into the rocket sections, resulting into me going accidentally with the crappiest rocket possible Also, I ended with 1 single Kirby during my first try against Skull Lord and literally almost beat it but missed catastrophically in the last hit Fun times

Even while being tiny, Kirby is still an unstoppable force of nature Also, since you’re forced to lose Kirbys in every level, 100% is automatically impossible because one of the achievements is getting a gold star on every level, which means not taking any damage for every level

How did you 100% mass attack and not any other kirby lol. Mass attack was one of the hardest I've completed. I love mass attack. It was my second or third kirby game. Super star ultra and maybe squeak squad I got before it.
This was such a fun game, but I could never get past world 2, and then the game cartridge somehow disappeared, so I'll never get to try again. Edit: Holy crap I just found it!
honestly I couldn't be bothered to count the rainbow coins, I only really cared about the levels. the final world was pretty much just dlc in a way. but yes, the total kirbys needed would be a lot more
A true shame one of the most interesting challenges in one of the most underrated Kirby games is completely half added just because you didn't feel like trying. You better make a followup video where you try to get all the rainbow medals
@@Ansel_G did you end the challenge at the bird level? No. So you don't have to end at the first time 10 is required, you can still try and see what coins are possible with 1 kirby
Oh no were you not mashing to attack? Repeatedly tapping on the enemy after all Kirbys are latched on makes them do damage wayyy faster Never mind, just didn't see you doing it in the earlier parts of the video

He doesn’t have his snorkel. Everyone knows snorkels let you breathe underwater. Kirby’s snorkel is too big for any of the Kirbys
