I just got the same reference & I love it. Thankfully it's made of titanium as otherwise the watch would be pretty hefty given the rather large dimensions.
Great looking watch and wonderful review. That's how a proper diver watch should look like. Does anyone know if Citizen somehow offers this black piece with bracelet? The strap looks fine, but metal bracelet has its charm.
As far as we know, this is only available on the black polyurethane strap and the blue dial version comes on a bracelet only. They should fit of course, but we do not know if they're sold seperately. Straight out the box it's black on strap or blue on bracelet I'm afraid.
Initially I was looking at Seiko Prospex SPB143. Now I know this is a contender with higher technical specifications, and much cheaper too. Both also paying respect to their former diver watch.
This is so tempting. I know it’s going to wear great on the rubber strap. But I also know I will want to wear in on the bracelet, and that I will be disappointed, because the male end links will make it wear just badly for my wrist size. Those extra mm in each side adds up quite a bit when the lugs doesn’t curve down much (or the caseback protrudes)
That's always something to consider with any watch, indeed. The wearability between straps or bracelet can be very different, and not just because of the material but also due to construction and fitment.
I have this watch. The only negative is the size of the crown. Hard to grip and not proportioned to the case. Otherwise, this thing has seiko beat as the bezel pip lines up all the time.
A bit weird power reserve. The Tissot Seastar is similarly priced, has a 2824 with 80h of power reserve, ceramic bezel and 300m WR. Usually it's they Swiss that are the less bang for buck but not in this case
@@HarryUnchained it uses a silicon hairspring for less friction and longer maintenance intervals. A reduced beat rate is what allows it to last 80h I believe.
One brand that seem to be nearly there but not quite for me - in this case it's the date ( hate that pointless complication)& the hideous Mercedes hour hand. Shame. Good value & clearly very durable. Cheers 👍🏻
Mine runs 15 seconds fast a day. I just hack the movement and push it back in every couple days. Big deal. You want a cheap and accurate watch, find a quartz.
Crazy how you didn’t mentioned the absurd rotating bezel sound it makes. Does sound like it’s made of tin. I get it, it’s titanium. I ordered two just to make sure it wasn’t a one off problem. Update: I returned both. The rotating bezel sound is not for me. Cringe.
Difficult to wear? 🤔 It's inarguably light and consists of standard diver dimensions. And edit: the full titanium set sells for $450 USD on a good sale from an AD these days. Hardly overpriced at that amount for its features vs flaws of a small crown and unsatisfying bezel action.
Amazing diver on the budget. For me is a Seiko killer!
It's expensive though.
How is 650€ a budget watch?
@@estebalstigopopoluz
Fairly subjective but considering the specs of this watch, it’s a solid value.
@@folksurvival yes !
Its a very expensive watch !
Better buy a Rolex they are cheaper !!
@ False.
I love mine. Lightweight, smooth back and great lume. Accurate too.

Very well proportioned design. I love Citizen's Duratect titanium. Super scratch resistance.
Great price for a Titanium diver with in house movement!
I might pick it up, always like a good citizen

I wear this watch every day and I prefer it over my bb58 as it’s so lightweight, citizen are so underrated, any collection needs one of these
Please comment on the Bezel sound and smoothness when using the part!
Very good looking diver watch. Citizen brand is soooo underrated. Many of their watches are far superior than Seiko/GS.
It's a very, very good watch indeed!
They are also very rare and even harder to come by in Europe than most GS
Good looking Citizen. I would consider if I didn't have any diver watch already
It's a great piece for sure!
This with crown guards and an Eco-Drive movement would be great.
Great looking watch, often Citizen under report the accuracy, they are normally within a tighter range than stated.
Very true! This, plus later models we had for reviews, performed well within the claimed accuracy.
Great review

I have the Seiko Spb147 as well. This is better.

Basically same f(x) as Tudor at 25% price!
okay, the pricing is also very reasonable.
Does this come with same packaging as the titanium bracelet one?
As far as we know, yes.
Super video, dommage de ne pas avoir montré la luminscence de la montre dans le noir...👍
Merci beaucoup!
Shame no ceramic bezel, would have really made it a nice beater
Huh? That’s exactly why it doesn’t.
NOT everybody likes your ceramic bezels !
i prefer aluminium !!
cool❤
A lo mejor cae estas Navidades

Can someone buy as a spare the bracelet of NB6021-68L?
Your best bet is a Citizen dealer or contact Citizen directly.

4Hz, or 28,800vph.

It's a true performance bargain indeed! Well built, cool looks, and affordable!
The narrator sounds like Tristan Farnon from “All Creatures Great and Small”.
We can assure you, he's not ;)
screw down crown or not ?
Yes it does

2824 only has 38hr of power reserve, you probably meant the powermatic which is a modified 2824 with plastic parts if i;m not wrong

Agree about that hr hand. Absolutely horrible!!! Tried too hard to be something and failed!! 😖😖😖
It’s modelled off the original, hence the same hands and a date window….
@@AliA-ei1ec yeah, I get that. Just what it'd take to get me to buy it. Cheers 👍🏻
The number one requirement on a watch is that it keeps time. This one apparently doesn't. 30 seconds off per day is 15 minutes a month. Fail...

It’s not polyutherene, it’s polyurethane.

Is the bezel sound that bad. I mean to make you return it. I should go to an AD to try on first I think.
Overpriced, lousy rubber strap, cheap bezel, ugly crown, difficult to wear, that's what they did not tell you

We see it differently to be honest, as to us it's quite the total package! But to each their own of course....
Those are apt description for a Seiko......over-priced, lousy 6R35 movement, un-signed crown, too thick. 😂
