My first one didn't run at all. The replacement runs 3 seconds fast per HOUR! The rotor is extremely loud and the bezel is pretty slippery. Wouldn't buy it again. I'm really disappointed to be honest.
Yeah, bezel action could use improvement. Surprised that the movement is giving you problems. 3 sec a day is actually within COSC.

I am/was a Citizen fan boy but this model left me unimpressed especially the bezel action and crown. A shame. It looks nice.

This doesn't tempt me although it's pretty, the cheaper NYO120's have lotsa colours, a day date and ahalf way decent bracelet for less than £200

The only thing that has kept me from pulling the trigger on one of these is the inclusion of the “Mercedes” hand.

My 'issues ' - size ( well it's a repro., so..), sapphire ( yes, it's natural environment for others will the office ) & no drilled lugs ( I least understand this one).
Too big, if it was in 40mm then i buy

I wonder if the smaller crown is meant to prevent digging into the wrist, things like that can really ruin a watch.
Maybe but the old original even had a big crown. I prefer a bigger one but no big deal. Thanks for watching.

I had it, liked it, but returned it. I did not like the shiny bezel insert. I have the NY0040, and I prefer the flat crystal, the matte bezel with the full minute track. The NY012x series is similar and cheaper, it has a proper larger crown and better bezel insert. But the smaller dimensions of the Fujitsubo are better.
The titanium looks and feels nice.

@@erikkinginnyc thank you. I find both retro somehow. Citizen addressed the Fujitsubo issues with the newer lower cost NY012x, with an opaque bezel insert, larger crown and less reflective crystal (but that could be mineral crystals are less reflective than sapphire ones). You can always get Citizen replace the bezel insert at some point. I wish for a watch at this price they would have used a ceramic bezel insert
That bezel will fade l would expect, it is shiny tough.

I think the selling point of this model is the 9xxx series movement hopefully citizen takes the mantle from seiko and yeah the ny0040-121 are better than the skx fight me 😂

I came across this watch afew weeks ago.. and decided its the one i'm going for as soon as im able to afford another decent mechanical watch... and then just recently the New Seiko Samurai lineups have been announced and theres an SRPL15 in particular which has just blown me away... now im conflicted.. Although this has a saphire crystal and the 4Hz rate which you just cant beat at that price
