- Today on Mindful Living I am sharing my June container garden tour. My garden has been growing like crazy since my last update in May. Follow along as I show you how my container garden has been doing the last month, along with a few last minute additions that I've added to my garden!
Welcome to my urban balcony garden! My name is Ally and I'm so happy to have you here. Follow along as I transform my balcony space into the lush garden of my dreams. With only 84 square feet of space, I pack my balcony with up to 30 plants every Spring, Summer and Fall. I've been gardening for a few years now using only containers and this year I'm coming up with all kinds of different ways to use what I grow in my kitchen -- so make sure to subscribe to follow along on my journey to living more mindfully. I like how the frog popped up! Im a keen gardener. I have a cottage garden in england. I've always grown flowers and herbs but this year im going to try growing toms in containers for the first time.

I’ve been having the same thing happen with my blueberry bushes this year.
And you’re so right lettuce is so easy, quick and fun to grow plus it’s used in the kitchen so often I’m also growing my lettuce from seeds and plan on growing more varieties.

Gorgeous garden! I actually cannot grow carrots until end of Aug in my area due to alot of carrot flies. Keep the videos coming I love watching…Much love from NY!

Beautiful balconygarden🌞 To get blueberries, you will need another blueberrybush-cultivar. So, two different blueberrybushes will give you lots of blueberries. Good luck😊
Thanks so much for the comment! ☺️🪴Ooo thats very interesting as the variety I purchased was from my local nursery and was quite large when I got it too. The variety is called Jelly Bean, specific for growing in containers, and I didn’t realize I would need two for this type of blueberry bush? At this point in the season it still hasn’t produced for me!

How did you hang your herb container on the railing? Thank you
Hi there! Thanks for the comment. It’s a hanging basket that is designed for railings and it comes with a piece that allows you to hang it. You can find them at most garden centres or Amazon!
Hi. How many hrs of sunlight does your balcony get?
Hi thanks for the comment! It varies depending on the time of year and where things are placed on the balcony but I definitely get up to 8 hours or more of sunlight.
