      Cult of conservatives
      Cult of liberals
      Cult of covid
      Cult of popular knowledge (hypnosis)
      Cult of confusion
      Specifics are priceless

Since I was a teen it's been one of my dreams. I had started a few years back but a cat. 5 hurricane came, knock down my house so I had to move. Kept trying in the different house that I moved to but no luck, had issues with not enough sun little due to no balcony, too humid or no space. But I have my heart set on trying again this year

I love Natalie! Short gardeners unite lol. I'm also 5'2" and I have grow bags. I have grown all kinds of things in them. I will say I made the mistake of getting 20 gallon and they are too big and heavy to move most of the time. I like the 10 gallon ones better. 15 gallon should be the max size if you plan on moving the bags frequently. One of my questions is how does she cheaply fill the bags? Garden dirt can get pretty expensive and filling all those containers can get pretty expensive.

Bernie Cat, 36 years ago, I started with a very small area, maybe 4' x 6', maybe a tad bit larger. I placed containers around the outer part of that area. I had Gardenia and Rose bushes, and a few other things in the ground. I grew various tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, cucumber in the containers. It was sooo much fun! I was amazed by what I could grow. And I LOVED that little garden, my first. I only grow in containers. You, too, can do this. Start small with only 6 containers maximum. Have fun, and Enjoy the experience.

I'm still living with my parents while in college so my garden is a bit limited and a lot in containers but one of the first things I added was backyard livestock: coturnix quail and rabbits. I think raising your own meat, if you can handle it, is such a good step towards self sufficiency and it feels great to have that kind of connection with where your food comes from. Rabbits (and also quail!) are such a great sustainable meat and fertilizer source if you can get over how cute they are. Inspired by Epic Gardening and Jacques I have added a few flowers to the garden this year and I was so busy I had no time to label my plants so thinking I was planting sunflowers (I learned which ones to use from Epic Gardening) here and there, I planted some funny kind of tomatoes instead. (Seeds were a gift from a friend). Interplanting by coincidence. Our neighbour now has problems with his beautiful tomato plants being slayed by mole crickets, and trying to google out a solution for him I learned that my somewhat chaotic gardening with flowers all over and different types of plants growing together creates an environment where mole crickets don't want to live.

Great garden and video. That's pretty much how I garden here in Michigan. It's addictive! . I have 35 grow bags and pots, a greenstalk, and recently added in 2 6 in 1 birdie beds. It's a nurturing hobby!

all thanks to your tips and love giving them away tp friends. I feel as the best thing in gardening is sharing your accomplishments.

I had to remove an established Loquat from my back yard several years ago because it was too close to the back door and the dang Starlings loved it! I miss it, but I don't miss the mess.
I like Natalie's reuse of containers. I have about 15 mixed paper recycling bins (HDPE) that have become planters or support for my grow bags.

This is like super encouraging because I don’t have much space from a grass standpoint but I can do this a lot better having containers that can be moved to capture more sun.

Making the best of a bad situation... Natalie is a gem. As much as I'm not a big fan of cults, there can always be silver lining, Natalie is proof of this. I wish her the best in the future.

Love her style of gardening with companion plants. Think I'm going to try this because I don't have a lot of space but I love gardening both flowers and edibles too

I really liked this video (although skipping the rabbit part because I have pet rabbits; no shade, I admire folks who handle their whole food chain). Inspired by Natalie's ability to take the good from a challenging past, and also really love these chances to see the whole epic team. People are so creative and it's fun to see the wide variety of successful happy gardeners and homesteaders out there!

    What a great garden!
Don’t forget rabbit manure is a great fertilizer, and unlike chicken manure you can use it right away.

I liked her creativity, diversity of plants and pots, and making the best of a tough location. Other than the rabbit stew, loved it!
