My son was 14 when he was diagnosed with NH-Large Cell Lymphomia Stage IV. Given 6-12 months. He is now 33 yrs old! He is a Survivor too❤

Struggling to find myself a good priced builders van in lockdown. Noticed minibuses were the only bargains so in a mad moment bought a 20 plate transit 17seater . Thinking of keeping two seat in the back for me little best friend granddaughter Cleo.

Im a big van life fan - living vicariously through these vlogs. I travelled through Europe in a VW camper van with my brother and father when I was a kid and I yearn to finda way to do it all again but may need to wait until I retire. Then I will be the frumpy white haired lady van life person with a small dog or two. You two are great - I love your sense of humor and silliness. Keep up the great work and know that you are inspiring others like me!
Guys, I don’t know if you’ll ever read this comment. I’ve been a follower for a little while now but this is all new to me. You have both always been an inspiration to me but after watching this, even more so. You are meant to be together and do what you do. I remember how mad I got when MSN was over, and I was forced into Skype!!!
I found a crack that allowed me to still use MSN (because normally it just wouldn't work anymore) and speak to my contacts who were using Skype.
And then, there was Facebook, and then Whatsapp....
I had over 5K contacts on my MSN..... I still miss it!!

I'm seeing this again in 2023,,,and you make it clear about what to do in Covid.... you should be on the school curriculum planning Aimee because as a retired educationalist I have always thought that in the 1970s, state schools and others missed a beat and didn't connect enough with what children needed. Summerhill tried but that seemed only for the privileged few when kids had really become difficult at home. I speak from experience. I fly over the moon each time I listen to your beautiful challenges and laughter.
I broke c5 paintballing when I was 17. Laying paralyzed in an ER while they add weights to your head is an experience I never want again. I don't have any photos of that day. I'm so lucky I was able to walk again and basically get back to normal. I wish I was traveling the world instead of getting into a work rut,but now with kids I feel like I can't give up the stability. I'll live vicariously through you.
You guys are meant to be stick together no matter what. Hanging out with your best friend forever is the best feeling.

My nan has Hodgkin's lymphoma and she is in her 60's and after hearing that you were ok and got rid of the cancer, that gives me more faith in her x

I was directed to your channel by an Iranian friend who loved your portrayal of and enthusiasm for his country. I have since followed your other travels and have really enjoyed them. However I have only now seen your ‘history’ video and it really explains the zest for life and the love and respect you show for each other and the people you meet on your travels. Started following you and Trev after the dogs in Morrocco, great couple with a good outlook on life. Inspiring what you both do and how you are. I had a life threatening car crash and was in icu for 10 days and hospital for 103 days. I was home for 3 days before my partner left me after 30 years, I can't believe Trev looked after you when you barely knew each other. Anyhow drive despite all this I'm going van lifing in a few years thanks to people like you, I won't let what's happened to me stop me and when I get started it will be one of hell of a drive Clive. Keep on keeping on

I completely get why you (Aimee) get so touched and emotional at beautiful things. When you have a near death experience (I've had one as well almost 6 years ago), you absolutely appreciate things that others might not get. The beauty of the mountains in Morocco, the smells, the laughs. It's beautiful life is. And we get to enjoy it. Craig why are you bungee jumping w/that bionic neck?? Much love to both of you. I hadn't seen this video but I've watched loads of others. xx

As someone whos mother is a cancer survivor and uncle who passed away recently to this horrible sickness, keep living your life on your terms keep doing what makes you happy, were not long on this earth but we all have a chance to live and make the most of what we have. You two are proof of this and so many more people. Dont lose that hunger for life.
I died in September 2002, died again in 2017, and wish I could live life like you guys do. I would love to be able to be as free as I used to be. Stay safe, stay strong, those injuries can come back and make you pay. I know, my youth still does. I also have a channel, but it's my wife's, so know I am not all that negative, just you guys remind me of some of my good old days. I found you through Eamon and Bec, but you guys are pretty amazing.

Just found you guys recently. I went to school with Kara and Nate..they were a couple grades above me so I didn't really know them. Although..I did try out for cheerleading one time and Kara was the cheerleader that was teaching me how to cheer. (I was awful tho lol) I remember seeing her around school tho and she was exactly like she is now. Anyway..I'm obsessed with you guys now too! I found you just a couple days ago and cant tell you how many videos I've watched so far. I'm glad I found this one cuz I've wanted to know your story so much! You guys are amazing. And I'm so lucky to have found you. You have made me smile so much in the last couple days. And I so appreciate that. Even though it's an older 4yrs ago vlog, had to watch it based on title, just amazing and so genuine about you two. Yes, this one made me click that Subscribe button. (tears and laughs aplenty) I see/saw your newer vlogs and have some interest in them (not extreme) but the traveling ones are more up my interest scale, so I think your older ones will keep me entertained more, that's why the "okay, sub time' thought, and the honesty, and heartfelt things you've gone thru, as best friends, really made me 'wake up' and agree, Live life to the full, every minute, ignore anyone who says ''no' and do what you can and want to do, for you 'alone' (and with your partner if you have one). Hi from Oregon in USA! I am a cancer survivor myself. I was a week shy of my 16th birthday when I was officially diagnosed with cancer. Mine was Ewing’s Sarcoma and it’s a type of bone cancer. Mine was in my lower spine. I had back surgery to remove the tumor and a few days later I started my chemotherapy. I did chemo for just over a year and had 6 weeks of radiation also. I’m 37 years old now and have been in remission ever since. I love watching your videos even though I’m fairly new to your page. Keep on keeping on!! (Sorry, edited my age I was diagnosed, didn’t realize til just now it was wrong, lol)

I know my all clear was over 10 years ago now, but not a day passes by that I don't think about it or it effects me in someway.. (not in a bad way) I have lots of friends who i've met through having cancer and just because of them i would never take the experience away. Well done girl - you're amazing.
Crikey, I only discovered your channel the other night, it made my night, these crazy but gentle Welshies bumming around Scotland in a bus during lockdown. Just your accent cheers me up, I was born in Newport and lived in Swansea for years and I have a woodland in Snowdonia but I’ve lived in England for most of my life so I just love to hear that accent. And what a story you guys have! Hard to believe you nearly split once, you’re so obviously soul mates, that’s never going to happen is it but sometimes the warped lens of live makes things look that way, especially when the world is watching I bet. Hope to catch you guys on the trails sometime, will look out for Custard and if you see a green Land Rover with a red dragon on the side flashing you it’s probably us.
Ah what a story, you two! We are motivated by similar experiences and I think remembering that life is not guaranteed to continue has driven so many of our choices.

Wow, I'm so glad everything has worked out for you! I do understand how those sort of experiences can change your life. When I was 23, a few months after my daughter's birth, I started getting flashes going on and off in my left eye. I didn't think much of it at the time, but after a few months I finally went to the doctor. He said to me, if you don't have a surgery now, you will go blind. It turns out I had a retinal detachment in my left eye and retinal tears in both. The recovery wasn't pleasant to say the least, but at least nowhere near as hard as what I imagine you went through and I managed to keep my eyesight. I had to give up studying for a law degree though. It kick started panic attacks that lasted for about 6 months and depression that lasted for years (I've been free from it for 3 years now!)
A few months later, the 3 of us where in a car accident. Me and our daughter were fine, but a week later, my husband's eyesight kept dissapearing. We rushed to the A&E. In the accident one of his arteries in the neck had torn and he had carotid artery detachment, he was getting mini strokes, which caused his eyesight to go off. It also took a while to recover, but he fully recovered from it, baffling the doctors.
The thing is I wouldn't change anything about those experiences, because they really did teach us a lot about ourselves, each other and the importance of life!

Wow! I’m exhausted just hearing it all! I’m new to your channel since you were with Eamon and Bec recently. My husband and I went through counseling and we have now been married 38 years. Counseling works so well. And I think the best take away from counseling is that I can’t change anyone else but only myself and how I react to others.

Amazing vid’. Rang so many bell’s. Got me thinking back to 2018 having just got back from a cycling trip in the Dolomites where I’d been on poor form - mate told me to get checked out. So I’m lying on my side in Port Talbot hospital with a not so magic eye firmly lodged where it wasn’t meant to be, having been thrust in by a Dr who I swear was trained by Dyna-rod and not the NHS say to me ‘oh that looks cancerous!! Amazing how 1 word changes your life totally. So after 9 months of the super juice treatment and surgery they told me September 2019 all unwanted visitors were gone !! Treated myself to a month long road rip on the west coast of the USA … I’m living life to the full now , in a job I live and travelling when ever I can … thank you so much for your content and humanity and giggles … as the song says ‘Yma o Hyd&❤
I'm just watching your video where Craig is talking about breaking his neck and my tummy is shaking. I too broke mine (C-2) and had to wear a halo. Worst experience of my life but am also so very lucky and blessed to not have any permanent damage, besides arthritis now. We just found you guys because of Eamon and Bec…this is first video that we figured we watch…wow hubby is currently fighting Hodgkin’s Lymphoma the dr said it’s the good cancer which should not be allowed to say to any one.. he been thriving with cancer since 2013..everything didn’t work until this clinical trial. It’s not gone it’s stabke which means it is not growing but a but smaller.. hugs and sooo. Much love to you guys ..we are off to another one your vlogs…here to stay part of viewing family ..

Still haven't finished the video but I didn't know Aimeee went through that. I also went through a similar but not as drawn out thing at the same age. It went from a an annoying lump on my neck to "OMG I could die" literally in a single day.
Edit: removed personal, upsetting story. But the fact of the matter is ingot through it, and you guys got through it. Others haven't been so lucky, and there's no rhyme or reason why but we shouldn't waste the time we've been given and you guys aren't wasting your time, you're both amazing!
When I was little I was temporarily paralysed after I landed funnily jumping on a bouncy castle at my Brownie troop party.
I landed exactly the way you described, on my head with my neck tucked. I remember I couldn't move, and what really scared me was that I couldn't speak either. The adults were all completely freaking out that I was clearly awake, but unable to move or speak. Then 15 minutes later my movement and voice spontaneously returned. I've never forgotten how scary it was.

Hi Craig and Amy, just started watching your stuff. Me and my missus have just bought our first project, an ex police Transit riot van, Oggy, to convert. I've just watched your back story about your illness and injuries and have to say you're both inspirational and amazing. My wife, like Amy, is also a cancer survivor so will be able to relate to your live life to the full attitude. Although we're not quite as young, free and hip as you two we're both looking forward to getting out on the road and exploring. Keep doing your stuff.

Totally agree that is why I started my channel. I had a personal situation that I thought I was going to die and then I made it through and I realized how short life is. I try to drive that message in my videos. But I still work a full time job in the us. I still document my adventures and try to drive themes of learning and growing because life is short. Great video thanks for sharing. Someday I will share my story but I am still a small channel.
