After years of struggling with flight anxiety, I surprised Aimee with business class seats to Peru.
She had no idea, obviously cried and we both had the best time ever feeling very VIP and first class as we skipped the queues! The only problem is... now we can never go back to economy! 😂 (even though our wallets tell us we have to!)

I was a first class flight attendant for a decade and I can tell you my fave customers were always the first timers. The celebrities, athletes and high powered business people were just so used to it and barely said boo - but the first timers always made my day and I’d always sneak the Dom Perignon to them. Thanks for bringing back fun memories xx

Craig, this was one of the kindest gestures I have ever witnessed. To put your partner above cost, above ignoring their concerns, above yourself really, is just so wonderful. Aimee is such a strong person, but even the strong need a little help sometimes, I'm so happy that in this wide world that you two found one another.
This was a red letter UA-cam day. I watched Eamon and Bec. She's finished this round of chemo, and it was such a beautiful video (tears). Now I see Aimee transform into a calm passenger with little to no anxiety. Craig, you've unleased an expensive monster. :) Enjoy your trip.

Absolutely the same I had to like watch them from the beginning because I was like oh my gosh I'm missing out on so much adventures so much of cleaning it and I honestly haven't stopped you guys are so freaking phenomenal and every single challenge every single thing you guys do you reach so many people that share the same thrive the same heart and it's absolutely amazing you are the blood within this community you are the motivation of people around the whole entire world you are so truly amazing and all you're doing is living in your best time and every second and every minute of every day and it is so fantastic to see even in your disasters you seem to thrive with every single fiber of your guys is being and it's so fantastic to see how you create solutions because you can literally see it in your guy's eyes connecting the dots and it's so out of this world incredible because I feel like a lot of people including myself do the same thing where you can literally see the gears clicking and and it's so awesome

Craig is so patient and kind and Aimee is so brave. It’s actually helpful watching how they work together and getting to see her work through her anxiety and Craig patiently and compassionately care for her through it. You guys are a dynamic duo! ❤
i get panic attacks leading up to traveling, but i've found that when i fly business or first class, my anxiety is so much less. i think it's because there is less noise, less people/crowding, more comfort and peace. i also arrive at my destination much more relaxed. love your adventures! you are so inspiring!
Ikr?? The privacy, less queing, and food/drinks at a lounge and on board, helps tremendously as well.

That certainly sorted out Aimee’s flying anxiety. It’s a very nice way to fly.
During my working life I spent 32 years working as an avionics engineer fixing the aeroplanes for an airline at Gatwick, I saw all sorts of people suffering from extreme flight anxiety. I’ve seen people actually faint when they’ve come down the jet way when they can see the aeroplane, people in floods of tears and even a woman that got on the aeroplane then decided she just couldn’t do it and got off again leaving her husband and kids to go to Orlando Florida without her. I really sympathise with anyone suffering with the problem.
My cousin suffers from it, many years ago before the security restrictions made it impossible, I got her a temporary pass took her out onto the ramp at the airport and showed her just what goes on behind the scenes, the stuff that passengers never get to see. She saw all the checks, inspections, maintenance, refuelling and mountains of paperwork that’s done during a turnaround of the aircraft. She said afterwards it helped her a lot, she felt much calmer after her visit.
When you said “do you eat too much poutine” I felt like it was directed right at us! 😂😂 We are homesteaders in Canada and we sure do LOVE our POUTINES! 😆🇨🇦

For Aimee - I had terrible flight anxiety but the Headspace app pre-flying talk and the methods it teaches in there is INCREDIBLE and changed my life forever. I hope you try it Aimee, and I hope even more that it works as well for you as it did for me!!

Oh wow! Your first time in Peru! Enjoy the Sacred Valley. Aimee my dear, if you’re flying from Lima to Cusco, lean into Craig for the last few minutes of the flight. It’s like an amusement park ride!
Lastly, be very careful with the water, just like in India, avoid “fresh fruit drinks” sold on the street. Or brushing your teeth from the tap. (unless you’re at a super upscale hotel, with a building purified water system). You guys, know the drill, unfortunately I learned the hard way, on my first visit back in 1981…. Picked up a heavy duty case of Amoebic dysentery…. Ah, those were the days!!!! Have a fantastic time, this adventure will truly knock your socks off!
That was one creepy alarm at the hotel 😂. I feel for you Amiee with the anxiety I suffer bad aswell but hope you both have a great trip and happy birthday 🎂
Excellent gift for travel anxiety! I arrived in the UK on the 15th from Canada: took one taxi, a ferry, bus, Sky Train, two planes & a hired car to get here. So, although I had window seats, (and an anxiety pill) and an empty middle seat business class would have been wonderful. Have a fantastic time in Peru. I cannot wait to explore over here!

What a wonderful surprise! So great to see Aimee enjoying her long flight. I like to fly business or better on any flights over 6 hours if I can. The cost is totally worth it but it is hard going back to coach when the coffers don’t stretch 😜😁

This is just amazing. I can relate to Aimee so much. I've got claustrophobia. Shorter flights are ok, I can handle those, calming upcoming panic attacks down, but longer ones really scare me. I'm dreaming to fly to Japan since I'm a kid, so business class is my option. One day...

I was upgraded once on a flight from the UK to the US (to FIRST CLASS) and it was the most amazing experience. I wanted to turn around and go back just so I could stay on the plane longer. LOL! So glad you got to enjoy the trip over!

How about writing a “Dr. Seuss” book for children with cancer or with parents with cancer, Aimee? Consult with a mental health professional about best, most helpful messages to include, etc… hmmmmm, sounds right up your alley!
Aimee, I thought I hated flying. What I REALLY hated was the feeling of claustrophobia and feeling trapped. I always now book an aisle seat. As I watched your anxiety subside with your business class situation, I couldn't help but think, perhaps your anxiety root is the same as mine.

If you're going to the south, Highly recommend Paracas! Small town, but if you can.... rent a scooter for the national reserve and explore! It's incredible!
