#56. Resin Petri Dish - The Feather Effect. My Best To Date? A Tutorial by Daniel Cooper

- Hi all,
This is a video showing how heat can create different effects with the Petri Feathering Technique. This may take a little practice, DO NOT USE BOILING WATER! Mine was 50c / 122f for around 30-40mins, then stir and take off the heat. Once the resin has thickened, you can then put back on to speed the curing up. I think these could be my favorite pieces to date, let me know what you think

Just a funny: the first drop of alcohol ink in the round molds looked like sweaters/jumpers!!
They turned out beautifully. I am still struggling. I have the new formula so I think I need to wait longer to add my sinker white.

I was just joking about the ‘secret heat mat’ .. which might have been the strangest sentence I’ve ever typed out. 😂🤣 I don’t think they’ve been out very long, I browse Amazon’s resin category.. too much😆 and I just noticed it yesterday.
