You are breaking into never explored techniques for creating extraordinary jewelry pieces. You are a genius at developing these new techniques to further the art of using resins. I love what you are doing. Thank you for all of the tips and instructions. I appreciate you work in helping others to be more creative.
You are mother f in right! 😮😊
I’m thinking of a koi pond, backed in transparent blue . . .
ETA: so glad you did mica powder! I’ve never seen anyone do this, and I was wondering if it would work. My local shop only sells mica powder and alcohol inks (no pigment paste).
They look gorgeous!! So is the depth due to the mica being heavier than alcohol ink? Think my favourite is the one with the blue ink in it!
Thanks, yes, it's added the depth 😊
The clear round ones do remind me of marbles a lot. Love the colors with the black background. Thank you again for all your work and sharing it.
Thanks Bob, yes, I got marble vibes with a few of these 😊
I love that you try different things. You also don’t blab on about weird things as others do, you reveal quickly , and don’t have a count down. I am learning so much. Thank you.
Oh wow 😍😍😍these are so beautiful thank you for the inspiration ☺️
Just to say I’ve tried this with UV resin today and it works quite well ❤️
I noticed you are used standard pins. If you hold the pointy end and run the ball end through, it works well and no scratches!
These are beautiful Daniel. I feel like a lot of resin artists get stuck on petals and swirls when there are so many patterns to explore. If you want some new ideas to play with, look up zentangles. ❤
Thank you 😊 Will do 😊
Seems like I am always too late to be the first commenter. Happy birthday weekend. Now to continue watching the rest of the video.
Thanks Bob 😊 You will get it one day 😊😊😊😊
I am fairly new to resin. I don’t understand the black alcohol ink. Did you mix your rein with black alcohol ink or just drop alcohol ink on your project? BYW they are cool.
I just discovered your channel. Thank you so much!! Love your channel!
Thank Yooou!!! I'm going to practice this technique until I reach perfection! As a child I collected the marbles and would sit for hours admiring them. It's my🎉 day and this video feels like a gift from God💯👍& 😍.
Thank you I create Hair bows and was looking for something to place on them. Thank you for this video it helped a lot and Happy Birthday
Ah yes, when as a kid you smash a marble open and discover its this. Theyre cool. Shame they develop rough edges, they looked like fish when they were smooth.
Just purchased some mica, little excited for my jewelry...these are beautiful colors ❤
Happy Birthday Daniel !!🎉 🎂🎈💐💐
Thank you 😊
oh i love them! and i did like the larger oval with the white and black alcohol ink, the border was neat! ❤🌹
Swirling the negative area…..hummmm…..that’s different
Awesome. Can you please do the one with the icy effect. Thats an eye catcher❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Stunning colors! Happy birthday!!!
Thank you 😊
These came out very nice! I think you're onto something with that blue alcohol ink with the white sinker. That looked fantastic! TYSM for sharing!
Thank you 😊
If it was a larger mold, they’d make BEAUTIFUL paperweights!!!
Happy Birthday 🎉🎂🥳 hope you have a fantastic weekend!!
Luv this!! The colors pop!❤
Thank you 😊
Oh, these are *REALLY* gorgeous, Daniel! I LOVE the brilliant colors and the depth you got, especially with the cab mold. WOW!
I would really like to see you play around with the blue alcohol ink effect more, please, if you would? I think it added a wonderful effect to the whole piece!
Also, I'd like to see the whole process of putting the black on top of the white back ground to give that icy effect (not asking for much, am I?!).
I will certainly be experimenting more with it 😊😊😊
How about if I politely ask for the same things too?! 😊😊 Love all of the cool effects you come up with.
With the ones you backed with black, was that black pigment mixed in resin and poured over or was it black alcohol ink dripped on the back?
Daniel hermosos sus trabajos. Tengo una pregunta por favor los colores que usas son tintas en alcohol y si se mezclan antes de aplicarlos con resina uv
O se hace directamente. Mil gracias bendiciones
Please explain/demonstrate the black backing process. TY!
Hello! I just found your channel via this video. I'm very new to working with resins. Would it be possible to achieve this look using UV resin? 🤔
I would think it would be 😊😊 I have done with pigments before, you just need to work a little faster 😊
Daniel I have to say these are absolutely beautiful. I literally just ordered my first resin set. I have never used resin before so this will be my first time. I make my own jewelry but using glass only. I think this is going to be a very new experience for me and very exciting. I love your technique. I will be keeping an eye open for your projects. Thank you for sharing.
Welcome to resin art 😊🥰
@@daniel..cooper Thank you
I have so little time to craft. Thank you for experimenting for all of us! 😊
Hi Daniel I love this. I’m new to resin and just starting to experiment. I was wondering do you fill the mould to the top or halfway before putting the mica on and then the black resin?
Thanks 😊 Leave maybe 2mm from the top 😊
Can I use this technique in a larger pour? I have a pour that I want to try this with. It will be slightly thicker than a coaster? Will it be ok? Thanks for your help 💗 love you !!!!!
Thanks, it will work but the resin may pull in like it does with flower blooms.
I am IN LOVE with the ice effect fish one! Really nice. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
Thank you 😊 Yes, that's growing on me 😊
OMGoodness! Beautiful
Happy birthday, i first found you on tiktok and you have some cool techniques, one question did you add the black and white before the cured? Thanks so much for your cool ideas
Thank you 😊 Yes, before they cured 😊 then black mica after cured
Very pretty! I tried this and I m quite happy with it

Mica powders are best 😊😊 happy thanksgiving 😊😊
Love the bright colors against the black back ground. So beautiful!
Thank you 😊
I recently found your channel and you’re by far my favorite Resin Artist! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and inspiration. You explain everything so well and I appreciate that. Have a great day.
Thank you so much! 😊
Have you ever tried waiting till your pieces set up then add resin with black paste or mica mixed in instead of inks as that's an expensive choice mate 😢😉👌🫶💪👍🤔🤔🤔😉
Of course I have 😂 Just very different results
I’m dropping several comments today TEACH
😂😂😂😂 I noticed 🥰🥰🥰
very nice dan,,the one you dropped blue ink in was my personalfav ,,,cheers as always
Thanks 😊 One of mine too 😊

You can but chameleon powders can look strange mixed with resin
Those are cool… gives me an idea… wondering 💭 if you could get a petri effect along with the 3D thing too?
Thanks, yes, could layer them 😊😊
Fantastic 3D effects. The black really makes the colours pop. But my favourite is the first white background one you unmoulded. 😍🇬🇧
Thanks Sue 😊
We're can I get these mold im taking a Resin pouring class and I'm looking for other things to make
Hi, link is in the video description 😊
Hope you had a wonderful birthday 🎉🎉 it is great being 25😉
Thank you 😊 I still feel 25 apart from the aches and pains 😂🤣
I am in love with the mica shaker bottle
I really enjoyed watching this so much, now I’m dying to try it myself! ❤❤❤❤❤ They came out so cool.👍🏼 That last one was my favorite, it was gorgeous.
Love these Daniel 🤩 Happy Birthday 🎁🍰🎈🎊
Thank you so much 🥰
The one at 11:18 is my favorite!!
You can cal the clear one Koi Ahoy
Hi Daniel the black resin ones are very pretty,, and really standout,,compared to the clear ,, the white one looks very interesting with the crackle edge an icy look I've plenty of Lets Resin brand colors glow in the dark,, mixology glitters and micas.
You sound like me “….basically ruining the whole video.” - That is so me. Take 49K
Did you drop just black alcohol ink on the back or is it black alcohol ink in resin on the back?
Just alcohol ink 😊😊
Desde Argentina impresionante lo que haces , felicitaciones.
Thank you 😊 🙏
Hi, I just can't get the ink to flower out in my attempts, what am I doing wrong. ( where you put your pigment in then use the white to sink and flower/ get 3d effect, can you surmise my problem, or give me some suggestions? Please?!?! Thanks if you have a chance .
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL 💯 thanks 👏🏽👏🏽 HAPPY birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉
Two at the same time earrings
I kept picking favorites, and then you’d flip another amazing one over! Loooooooove this technique!
Happy Birthday 🎂
That icy texture is really cool. The micas are gorgeous with this technique.
Very beautiful, Daniel, after how long do you put the drops, more or less? Always great tutorials, thanks. 🙂🙂 Oh, buon compleanno! 😚
Thanks Gulma, mine was around 1hr 😊
@@daniel..cooper Thank you. 🙂👍🏻
Love how these have turned out. Beautiful bright colours......🧡💙💜💚💛❤
Looks like dichroic glass
Beautiful! You've prompted a lot of ideas to start swirling! Thanks! x
Hi Daniel can you please tell me if you can do this with UV resin? Just learning and I watch all of your UA-cam videos
Yes, definitely works with uv, just not too much mica 😁
@@daniel..cooper ❤️ thank you for helping me
I think I like this better than the alcohol inks…..but I’m still watching TEACH.
Black looks better
So much depth! Pretty😊 Happy Birthday!🎂
Thank you 😊
Love these thanks for sharing, happy birthday 🎉
Thanks Nikki 😊 🫂 🙏
Love them! What a cool idea. Would they work on a coaster?
Thanks, I would think so 😊
Do you sand or dome all your pieces or does it determine on the sheen of the mold?
No sanding here 😊😊
Daniel, I just wondered if you have tried distressed alcohol inks, (Tim holtz)? I would love to see a video of this.x
Oh, never heard of these! 😳
@@daniel..cooper I suppose you would say they are a mix of mica powders in alcohol inks. I think I’ll have a go. I’ve just done my first pour and I got the cells! Yay, that’s all down to your tutorials so Thankyou. X
Have you ever tried this with chameleon mica? I paint molds with chameleon and then backfill usually with black - but I have on occasion mixed the chameleons or chromes directly in and they give a slightly different look. It might be cool to see how they work when you do these kinds of cabochons...
I will definitely give that a try soon 😊😊😊
@@daniel..cooper for some of the lighter colors, I mix in black too. I think that the traditional way of using chameleons is beautiful, but because they are so expensive, a lot of people don't mix them in (it does honestly make me cringe a bit), but it is in my opinion, a very different look than mica. It is almost like the color is suspended in the resin and it had a just a different depth and feel to it. It is subtle, but definitely there.
Very Lovely!:) 🤗
DANG DANIEL!! You really outdid yourself with these. They're ALL AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL ❤
You are on another level that only happens by doing over and over kudos
I LOVE these!! They turned out absolutely STUNNING!!💜🌈💜🤯💜🌈💜
Wow! These are right up my alley❤ Happy belated birthday!
Thanks Pam 😊
“Cooper’s Crafty Clan” 🥰
Really cool pieces
Happy Birthday!
So beautiful and happy belated birthday 😊🌸
Thank you 😊
On the second-to-last heart shape, there is an almost feathering effect on the orange swirl to the lower right-that’s especially beautiful. I wonder how you got that bit? Also, what would happen if you combined an ink color with a resin color and then applied it? Would it spread faster?
Simply beautiful, great work, really enjoy your videos.
Oh yeah the hearts are the killers - I LOVE IT
New to the channel tonight and I love it!! I can’t wait to try this! Question: did you pour clear over the colors then mix the black alcohol ink in some and pure that when you have the clear set?? I hope that question makes sense. Thank you kindly for helping me in my journey in learning. I have never worked with alcohol ink, only micas
So beautiful. Talent and imagination ❤
Nice ,white looked like fringe around it, what do you do with all the extra pieces you don't sell,do you have creative ways to use them like wind chimes, magnets for fridge? ect.
happy birthday mate, how was the wedding by the way ?
Thank you, was good thanks, almost 2yrs now 😊
I wish you would've shown all the steps you did to finishing these. I really like this effect. But now I'm lost on how you did the background to them. After you did your swirls with the dots, did you let that layer completely cure before you added the background? Or did you just add the background color to the same layer? I'm so confused now 😅😢🧐😵💫
Hi, sorry, after stirring, I added a black alcohol ink but it went strange so after curing, I added a black mica 😊
@Daniel Cooper thank you so much for replying. I'm surprised it didn't ruin them when you added the black ink since it didn't right. So, just to be clear, once I finish swirling the dots of color, I let it cure and add a second layer that is black. Let that cure and then demold. Correct?
@lindiemaloney yes, that will work Lindie 😊😊
I love how the colors are so separate and so rich!
Can cooking spray be used as release spray?
I'm not sure, sorry 😔
Will you show how you pour the black mica and white mica on top of your clear that has already been poured in mold. I am very new at resin. Thank you
Those are beautiful. Thanks so much for the tutorial. I’ve been struggling for way to create something specific and you’ve given me some new ideas to try to make it happen.
I think you've made something very unique in each one. I think they're great!
Are any of these for sale? Beautiful!
I do not sell currently, sorry. Thank you 😁
Those are really cool! The 3D effect is amazing and the colors are so vibrant!
Thank you 😊
This is similar to how I do my galaxy cabochons. Great work
How do you finish these off. Do you put bails on them as pendants. Love to see a video on the best way to finish these off to sell 👏👏🇮🇪❤️
Have made a few vids on this way back 😊
@@daniel..cooper Thanks will check it out .
Superb work❤
Happy birthday! These are really cool!
Thanks Christie 😊
I love the 4 the one you showed with the white then black.. beautiful!!
