Wunderschöne und tiefempfundene Aufführung dieses perfekt komponierten und fein arrangierten Meisterstücks im angemessenen Tempo mit durchsichtigen doch etwas warmherzigen Tönen der historischen und ausgezeichneten Orgel. Einfach wunderbar!
Is it just me or does the beginning of the baseline resemble the first phrase of the chorale 'ein feste burg ist unser gott'? Just without the repetition in the first notes and the downleap to the d.
The serene qualities of this piece are so far removed from horrors and bestial acts of hatred currently witnessed by helpless souls in Eastern Ukraine, as can be imaginable. This music represents the heights of human achievement and reaches out with kindness and compassion towards all mankind (and womankind) and is as relevant today, albeit inspired during the 18th century by Bach to the absolute glory of God. I remember hearing Albert Schweitzer’s old recorded performance of 1936 of this and being very moved as a very boy. It’s magical and will forever touch the soul of those lucky to hear it.
Please note: this is an improved version of an earlier release. The reverb of the final chord has been extended.
A wonderful devotional work that I will listen to each night this Easter week before I retire to bed. Thank you.
Absolutely beautiful! You really helped me this week. I just want you to know that you have made a difference in my life with this music.
Bach's music is heaven! It helps me a lot too. May God bless you and your loved ones! Cheers!

This is Bach trying to be "sleepy and relaxing."
Where is your profile pic from? It's pretty funny and I saw a similar one on another guy's profile, so I guess they must be from the same source.
@@stupidguy97 I found it on the internet many years ago.
What registration is he using it’s absolutely gorgeous
Probably a Regal or Dulzian or Krummhorn against 8 and 4 flutes in the oberwerk, and 16 and 8 Subbass and Gedeckt in the Pedale.
Hermoso
Amazing! Which stops were used to cantus firmus?
Sounds like a Vox, with 4' added.
