Great video! My microloc appointment is on Friday 02/23/24. I have 3c/4a texture hair and it's about 16-18 inches. I can't wait!
Your hair is looking great! Looking forward to seeing your future updates as I can see how it will bloom as you pass through the stages.
Thank you so much xoxo 🥰 I feel this too. I filmed this video in December. I'll be back with my 1yr update in 2 months
Yessss we locked in!
mmhmmmm
Hi, love your videos and loc updates. You mentioned your loctician moved to Houston. Would you mind sharing their info?
Your hair is beautiful! I have 3c hair and I think I have slippage on one side of my hair 😫 I go for my third retie on 3/2 hopefully she says it’s not bad. I’m about 6 mos in!
Thank you, boo! Cheers to us for being on this journey. it's a part of the process. Your hair will be fine xoxo
How long does it take you to do your reties
How did you start your journey? Were these palm rolled?
Onyx said, “No, ma’am.”
Your locs look so shiny and healthy what do you use?
Thank you! Just rose water.
Bunching is part of the locking process! Don't correct it! Your locs have to go through the "teen" lumpy bumpy frizzy phase at some point to make it to maturity. Let it do what it does, that's the best way to lock your hair!
Also, I was self maintaining and had some of the issues you talked about at 17:12. It helped me to sit in the mirror and repart my locs during every 3rd or so retie session. So basically reestablish my original grid. I expect I'll be able to space this out to every 3-5 reties as my hair matures but it's been helpful in making sure my grid stays crispy like I like it! The other two sessions I just retie w/o a mirror and go solely based on touch. Maybe that would help?
thank you! so far so good
