A friend new I was looking for this and picked it up in a 2nd hand CD shop in town for me. The guy who sold it, was a fan of the Bestie Boys but hadn't heard it and asked if he could listen to it before he sold it as my friend bigged it up. He loved it so much he didn't want to sell it but settled for five minutes to shall I say, make a backup for his own collection :D
Yes. Bomb the Bass thanked Coldcut for finding the sample in the liner notes. Coldcut used it in their DJ Food track "Dark Lady", although in a much more mellow way. Originally from Brazilian singer Flora Purim's track "Open Your Eyes You Can Fly" from the '70s.
Like an exterminator running low on dust I'm bug powder itchin' and it can't be trussed Inter zone trippin' and I'm off to Annexia I gotta get a typewriter that's sexier
@@ingolfurarnar697 Exactly. Analogue and tape warmth and ever so slight distortion. Not tinny AF and clean and digital like nowadays and probably brickwalled and distorted in the _wrong_ way.
Always loved this! It also reminds me of Liam Howlett's Dirtchamber sessions mix. This is a banger that he used in that mix. BTB's Beat Dis & BPD are just but two of their boom, boom, bangers. They can't make music as good as this anymore. Why? Because I don't hear it? Old school hip-hop, acid-house, and Belgian Techno. It makes you realise how good we/I had it!
This was a banger and still is.
And will be 4evrr
But not this version. Where’s the classic bass
@@Muckymuckmucknah this is the best version
and I just woke up being 53 and just rediscovered this gem - how awesome was and still is this...
This never gets old..
I know this from prodigy dirt chamber and i love it ❤
This rocks hard to this day
Oi, I forgot about this track and never seen the video. It's probably on my list of records for respectable tracks that I lost and found.
klingt auch nach 30 jahren noch so frisch wie am tag seiner veröffentlichung
Forgot a bit about this, still a powerful driving groove, bang on!
In the words of Bill S Preston, Esquire, Excellent.
Loved this song since day 1 when I bought the CD in the 90s, one of my favs!
Way ahead of his time.
Just think, this existed in the same year Pulp Fiction came out and Cobain deleted himself. Thank you Blade Trinity Playlist
One of the standouts
Got the 12inch love it banging tune takes me back
This a good version, i ve only ever heard the kruder and dorfmeister version
I love that the captions have the line as "I gotta get a typewriter that's sexier"
it's "... tight bite of the sex of ya"

Tell that guy it's only piracy if Google corps. is not making money off it's theft.
still certified fresh 3 decades on
That bass line is sick
thank you so much for this
You are welcome 🙂
Stone cold classic
Killer bass riff.

You bet 😉🤘
Fucker to play tho. Especially at the speed of the Liam Howlett remix on Dirtchamber sessions.
Chambeliss 😎🎶💛
Naked Lunch is a wild ass movie.
Even wilder book!
It changes the way you see typewriters, that's for sure.
@@steviebudden3397 I had the bug exterminator guy around today, inpired me to give this one spin again. I don't think this mix is on Spotify?!
Shockingly low chart place for a great track
Agreed. Barely scratched the Top 40 but people have no taste
90's Hits
There is this really earthy sound blending rock and hip-hop perfectly you can see how this probably influenced chemical brothers and vice versa
Definite BIG BEAT sound
Exactly. Probably NuMetal as well.
Justin Warfield and directed by Alex Winters... Fuck yeah
sweet jam and vid. thx for posting.
I love the description and I love you ♥️
Justin Warfield!
Super weird to think he's the same guy from She Wants Revenge. Versatile and talented for real
He said it was Justin Thatsallthatsit. Is what I thought.
Awesome!!!
Had this shit on Musicassingle back in the day....
🧨🧨🧨💯💯
Gen X tripping on acid!
Geet8ng hige on Bug Powder... catxh you at Interzone brah
Like an exterminator running low on dust

The lyrics are utterly nuts levels of cool.
@@joaoyapur1247 that is way more popular but is an instrumental in chill trip hop style, not breakbeat.
Burroughs is somethig else man, crazy to think the stuff he was up to in the stodgy 1950s
Norman Cook owes him
I feel like I heard a cover of this more often. I don't know who it was.
Might be kruder and dorfmeister remix-- k and d sessions.
Number 1 jism
💯🔥
JUSTIN WARFIELD
Bill S. Preston directing. It's really not a bad video.
Justin has a similar vibe to Zack de la Rocha
Excellent observation and spot on, dude 👍
I think Justin is a Brit of El Salvadoran extraction?
GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Dark lady- DJ Food
The true black meat i've found at last after 30 years on
У крюдера и дорфмайстера крутой микс
Well before it's time, kinda like Boots Riley, meets Jack de la Rocha... meets the modern Lack of Afro vibes... darn....
Doug Wimbish innit?
Sounds a lot like Kid Rock stole this sound in the late 90s
the (Kruder & Dorfmeister Session) version is way better imo
Lol It's WAY lamer
It's way differenter but also great yes.
@@GaiaMediaIndustriesthis one rocks the K&D mix is more chillout
Sound muffled.
Sound is EXACTLY how it should be. Perfect like that. Would be shit any other way

A little Naked Lunch influence, perhaps?
More than a little!
