European brands? Hi! Greetings from Norway 👋 As you are (in my opinion) the world's no.1 place to get good, extensive, and definitive testing on vacumes, I would really love to see more European brands and models tested next year! I know that some of them aren't as easy for you to get a hold of, as many of them probably aren't sold in the US, it would still be a big service to the world to see more European models included. If some of them do really well, this could pressure these manufacturers to start selling to the US. Seeing them compared to the best models in the US, could put pressure on them to improve their products. Or vice versa :). When I load up one of Norway's biggest electronics retailer, this is the brands I see the most: Philips, Wilfa, Bosh, Miele, Samsung, Dyson, Electrolux Keep doing the amazing work you are doing and I'm looking forward to your future reviews.
@@Eihei Totally agree! I myself have a Bosch Unlimited Serie 8 Gen2 ProPower which I am very happy with, and the universal bosch battery system is awesome!
I still love my Tineco vacuum. I've had it for 2 years now, and I owe a big thanks to Vacuum Wars for the great video in helping me buy it. Sad to see there not making it on the list these days. Hopefully, Tineco will up their game and make a big comeback!
Great review. Is that detailed chart that you show briefly, available to look at anywhere? I didn't see any obvious links to it either here or on your website. Also, do you evaluate a vacuum cleaner's edge cleaning capabilities? I've found that Shark vacuums, both cordless and corded, have a narrowed cleaning path, with a wide band of extra plastic in the way on the underside of both ends of the head, though I'm guessing this is true of a lot of other manufacturers' vacuums too. But Dysons (at least some models?) have a wider cleaning path with only the bare minimum amount of plastic on the two ends of the head.
I don’t know how much that type of test would matter. Noise in vacuums is almost directly related to cleaning power. So a vacuum that would not disturb other people in the household would be almost useless.
@@stevenbradford6138 that’s not entirely true. You can find several vacuums with same advertised noise levels but different power some even way more powerful. The new Dyson 5gen is very powerful and noise level is not that high compared with some other less powerful. You are not 100% correct so it really depend
I just bought a new Dyson “GEN 5 Detect“ about a month ago. I’m liking it so far, though you’re right, it is a little bit of a hassle to switch floorheads. It does kick butt on both the carpet and the hard floor! It would be nice if they put a laser detector on the carpet motorhead attachment as well as the hard floor attachment.
I love my Dyson submarine. The mop head is really useful for removing fine dirt and stains that the vacuum is unable to remove. Its also able pick up some small bits of dropped food but I would simply pick any large wet debris with a tissue and then use a mop on it.
Have you had a chance to review the new Bespoke Jet AI Cordless vs the Bespoke Jet (non AI) Cordless Stick? Which auto empty cordless stick do you feel is best in class?
I love these videos, wish we could get a longer version of the videos that shows the full testing. been a follower for years please never stop making videos
A lot of effort put in, awesome job. I went straight to the budget section as I already own a corded upright but want something lighter for stairs and quick jobs and would have a hard time justifying a 2nd $300+ vac to the wife (I'm the clean freak in this relationship). Even still the budget ones seem expensive for what these are.
Sorry, one big question. I’ve already a robot vacuum and mop (Dreame L20 Ultra and this is incredible!) but I want something to vacuum places where robot can’t go and for when I want to clean more perfectly. Which Dyson is better for me? Thank you so much!
I currently own two of your mid-level picks, the shark stratos and the older dyson v8. Even though the stratos gives the light and the feature to go under beds, I prefer the dyson. It's lighter weight and doesn't clog as much, a huge annoyance I have with the stratos
I was going to get the Shark Stratos, but then I read the recent reviews on Amazon and everyone said the same bad things about it... Longevity (seems to break down after a few months), battery life, and durability. Decided to buy another Dyson v11($284.97 Black Friday price).
@@benster5Got the shark stratos iz 400 this week used it twice so far ,whilst its fairly powerfull on auto mode i still find its a little diissapointing, used on a mixture of hard floors and rugs it picked up well but i had to use boost 3 or 4 times for about a minute each time.Battery lasted excactly 21 minutes(i timed this) .Very bad battery imo.I paid £230 on a deal so ill put up with it but if i paid any more it would have been returned.

Thorough & useful. Thank u. Can u add the score slide for mid-range? Ur description picks Shark Vertex Pro as fav: instead of Stratos’ Order Eliminator, Vertex Pro probably focused on other feature.
@@VacuumWars That's too bad. Not being able to compare two models (at least the basics) sucks. Don't get me wrong, I love your videos, relatively long time follower, they have helped me out a lot. It would be awesome to have at least some basic comparison tool with a few categories on the website, though. Thanks again and keep up the good work!
I wish the tests would have included storage and charging video. I'd like visual examples of what it takes to store and charge. I have a tiny laundry room and an even tinier coat closet. I've been considering the Sirena Proflex PetVac 2-in-1 Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner with Motorized Pet Brush for Pet Hair Removal, Multi-Surface Cleaning, and Portable ConvenienceSirena Proflex PetVac 2-in-1 Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner with Motorized Pet Brush. But there's little information on it's battery or storage. It'd be great to know if the vacs have removable batteries with battery charging station and how the accessories are stored.

iHome SV1 which I bought at Menard's for $70. First Love stick vacuum, bought during Cyber Monday week from Newegg for $60 each; I bought two. They work just fine. I use them to vacuum stairs in out apartment building. I stay away from sticks that "lock upright," because they will lock at every step. I have to use my foot to unlock the floor brush and continue vacuuming.
V15, compared to V12, is unpleseantly heavier and requires keeping a finger on the trigger. Returned V15 on the next day and soon buying V12 instead. Surprised to see it featured in the rank.
@@damiangowala5681 Well it has best suction for cost. Has best features especially when you get the detect absolute version. Holding a trigger is not a deal breaker. All Dyson hand holds had that feature up until a year or two ago. Surprised you went with a lower powered and lower featured model. All reviews I have seen have put the V15 near the top if not the best option over the Gen5. The V12 has too small of a canister and battery capacity along with suction power.
Love the video however, you don’t show the rating of the mid group like you do with the high and the low. I would like to also see how they break down for the rating for example, accessories aren’t that important to me, so if something rated higher due to the accessories I may not value that. my key attributes are power, battery life and weight so if I could find a strip down version using those three things that would be stellar for me
This is awesome, but please take into account that most of these models are not available globally. In Turkey, only Dyson is available from these picks and its too expensive. Philips has a wide range of products, if you could review those it would be awesome!
Nice find on that Laresar with great sales. great price for its power and decent battery. They should add another cell or employ 2170 cells for more battery life though. The foam filter is also its weakness which will need washing every week or every other day for a house never had a cordless vacuum cleaning.
The submarine is good even though it doesn't rinse the brush and put the dirty water in a tank? I love my Dysons, but they can clog due to some narrow passages. The last one I bought was the V12 because of the light weight and it is a bit weak in the suction department, so something to think about for those considering this model. Not terrible, but not having to use high power for certain situations would be nice.
Have you tested the Samsung Bespoke Jet One Complete? I'd really like to know how it performs. Is there a place where we can see the list of all the vacuums that were tested for this review?
I would love to see you review the Makita 40v XGT and 18v LXT vacuums in comparison and how you would rate them in comparison, they don't have a beater bar head but I love being able to replace batteries
I'm curious to why the lift-away cordless system from Shark isn't added into the mix. I have a Shark Vertex Pro lift-away that you recommended it previous years and it still boasts impressive results and has features no other cordless vacuum has thanks to it's liftaway system with hose. You think the improved power of newer models makes these features less relevant? Would be interesting to hear your view about it ^^
Samsung bespoke jet wins it for me, self emptying bin needs to be taken into account. Spinning mop head, so can also compete with the submarine. Just a better all rounder IMO
Hello @Vacuum Wars - quick question on 2:48. Why is the Submarine version has 166 points and V15 has 180? I just bought the S one today and thought that it's basically the same as V15 but has on top the "wet roller head" functionality. Thanks for any insights.
I like how no scores were shown for _mid level_ category, probably because they were higher than Dyson or just as high which would make the list look ridiculous. Budget Laresar already had 147 points with best Dyson at 180. It really looks like tests changed from independent to basically Dyson commercial lol. Dyson being added to mid, where it has no redeeming qualities above the competition? _Cheapest Dyson_ Even the budget list looks suspicious - I know Laresar, I basically had almost identical vacuum for a while, and it's good, but it's not best budget device for sure. RedRoad V17 is.
I wonder if you would be open to changing the format slightly? It would be great to have price ranges in place as the Dyson are now vastly more expensive than almost any other vacuum. I was considering the Tineco S15 Pro as it was available at £350 in a sale. The only problem is that there is no chart or any idea how such a model faired in comparison to these others. For all I know it was 90% as good as the premium Dysons at half the price. It would be helpful to be able to judge its value against the others knowing how much effort you put in to testing and editing of these videos.
Can you add which cordless vacuums have a constant on feature? It’s hard to differentiate which ones have a switch to turn it on or a trigger which you have to squeeze to keep it running. Thanks!
First of all I've been watching your channel since the s5 max released, and I do love the way you did. Now I m trying to buy cordless wacuum But thing is that What is the 4th or 5th ones? I dont wat to pay much so Dyson is not fit on me. and the other budget and mid level brands I cant find most of them in EU. So could you please the whole list that you analyse on excell. Or can you share the excell? For example in my country most popular ones Philips Miele Fakir Electrolux Samsung LG Bosch etc.
Hoover stick vacuums which are sold in Europe and UK have different design, construction elements and different naming HF-1, 4, 5, 9. And top model is HFX which is not available in USA.
It doesn't look like you tested the Worx brand cordless stick vacuum cleaner. I'd love to hear thoughts on it. I have other Worx battery powered products. Its nice to not have a bunch of different batteries to buy and keep!
Hello, i have one suggestion and one question. Suggestion: When you test always show the exact part nubmber, because under a part name can be a lot of different part, like under the Shark Stratos. Question: which startos do you have in this test? Thank You!
How is a budget model €850? I thought these things cost 75-350 Max. I don’t even know what the Dysons will cost haha. I saw that white 150W Amazon Basics unit, it’s apparently good and the design looks very clean, minimalist and futuristic.
Is there a list of all the vacuums tested so I could see which brands didn't make it to the top at all. I have a Dreametech P10 Pro and wondered if it was one of those tested that didn't make it
The main concern with cordless vacuums is battery replacement. I hear they are absolute nightmares when the batteries go, as they are the first thing to fail and more expensive than just replacing the whole vacuum
You can just get a replacement battery, at least for Dyson. It's 100$ but the batteries usually last 3-4 years so 100$ for 3-4 years isn't very expensive. If you feel that Dyson won't have spare parts for your vacuum at that time, just buy an extra battery right now and only use it when the old one dies.
I still have my dyson dc44 barrell which admittedly i havent used in a long time. Do the top end handhelds remove the need to lugg out my barrel vacuum for deep cleans? It'll make their price more justifiable.
Although I understand why you excluded the DeWalt, it would be nice to see some vacuums from power tool manufacturers tested again, as lots of us have the batteries. I'm guessing that DeWalt is going to appear in a future video.
What I would love is a category "Robot vacuum companion". You likely have corners, a sofa and other spots the robot vacuum can't reach. And want a light weight, affordable cordless vacuum that is easy to use. Where low weight is more important vs battery life, 10 minutes is plenty. The floor part should be simple and not too wide, to get into corners. More like one of those table vacuums that could be converted to a simple stick vacuum. I bought a robot vacuum to my mother and she loves it. But she has weak hands and I want to buy her something to vacuum the spots that the robot can't reach. I have looked at Xiaomi Mi Vacuum Cleaner Light but it seems still to be a bit too heavy, and a bit complicated to empty the bin.
Great video. Thanks. We have all wood floors and I heard your comments about the Laresar Elite 3 being good on wood floors in the Budget category. Is a particular vacuum that did best on wood? Or, can I get the breakdown off all the tests you ran? Something are more or less important, depending on the person. So seeing the full test would be helpful. Thanks!

Could you guys review steam cleaners for appliances and house cleaning as well? It would be really great if you guys could!
Have you tested the Samsung Bespoke Jet One Complete? I'd really like to know how it performs. Is there a place where we can see the list of all the vacuums that were tested for this review?
Where can I find the differences between the shark Stratos VS the Vertex pro?!
Would be interesting to hear your view about it ^^
wow - lots of work - thanks - wondering where the Buture Pro came pleasE?
Samsung bespoke jet wins it for me, self emptying bin needs to be taken into account. Spinning mop head, so can also compete with the submarine. Just a better all rounder IMO
Happy Thanksgiving to each and every one of you at Vacuum Wars. I surely appreciate all of you!
Same to you! Thank you!
Hello @Vacuum Wars - quick question on 2:48. Why is the Submarine version has 166 points and V15 has 180? I just bought the S one today and thought that it's basically the same as V15 but has on top the "wet roller head" functionality. Thanks for any insights.
You guys do a good job testing, I appreciate you!
Thanks so much!
_Cheapest Dyson_
Even the budget list looks suspicious - I know Laresar, I basically had almost identical vacuum for a while, and it's good, but it's not best budget device for sure.
Yup! It is in the works now.
@@VacuumWars Thanks bro!
Been waiting for this video. Unfortunately i just bought a Dyson V15 Absolute. Fingers crossed.
It doesn't look like you tested the Worx brand cordless stick vacuum cleaner. I'd love to hear thoughts on it. I have other Worx battery powered products. Its nice to not have a bunch of different batteries to buy and keep!
This channel is so great but I would really love to see more European brands (e.g. Wilfa, Bosh, Electrolux, etc)!
I guess my question is how well did the budget ones do on carpet?
Amazing! It'd be great to see Philips's products, especially latest flagship AquaTrio 9000.
Hey!
great reviews!
Where is Samsung bespoke jet AI at premium?
Hello, i have one suggestion and one question.
Suggestion: When you test always show the exact part nubmber, because under a part name can be a lot of different part, like under the Shark Stratos.
Question: which startos do you have in this test?
Thank You!
Thank you, this helped me make an informed decision when the stress of current life makes my brain stutter!
Glad we could help!
The Dyson V15 Absolute does actually have the built in crevice tool and brighter gen5 laser. I know this because i just received mine.
Yeah, that’s why I bought a Makita vacuum after my Dyson battery gave up. I can just use my power tools batteries on it.
This video is exactly what I was hoping to find. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Did you test any of the off brand Chinese type cordless vacs?
Thank you to this channel 🎉❤
Our pleasure!
Is there a place where I can view a spread sheet or a chart that has your scoring for each vacuum?
Hey do you have a video about robotic vs cordless vacuums? A general comparison
Can we see what all was tested? Was Miele? Riccar?
ADHD adult here 👋🏼
Really happy to find this informations with such dedications to buy my first vaccum 😌
So glad to hear that we were helpful!
I'm a 43 year old male who barely ever hoovered his house....why am I so addicted to hoovers now😂 and I have robrock and dreame at my home
Jumping from Dyson G and V15 to V8. Did you guys not test the V12?
have you tested any of the new LG vacuums yet? interested in the auto empty ones
I just saw your 2022 video. Would you say the shark stratos is still the best overall? That is without accounting for price to performance.
Thanks!
Our individual review videos are where we go into more detail per model. Here's our playlist of all the cordless we have reviewed: ua-cam.com/video/BvDn3FOoN9E/v-deo.html
So what your saying is we should wait for a duel brush with a frkkin laser beam attached to it head?
Thanks for all the hrs work!
You are very welcome! Thank you for watching!
Something I didn’t see and maybe missed when you mentioned scored features-what about these newer cordless vacuums that have auto clean with zero open air dustbin exposure ? Also would have liked to see more about battery life and dustbin size
0:00 the best vacuum in that shot is the grey and yellow beauty in the back
is that spreadsheet available? Would be nice to compare between individual categories and also to know which vacuums were tested.
We aren't able to share that but we hope our videos are still helpful.
What happened to upright cordless models? I hear you explaning how much better they are ergonomically in other videos of the channel yet no one makes it to the top this year?
Do these all have a sealed system and filter?
How much weight is placed on the noise level? I own (2) Dyson Vac and both are very loud, willing to trade off some performance for a quiet machine.
Please do this with the vacume/mops.
