I like how that cop straight up admitted it doesn’t matter who the actual aggressor/victim is, it just matters who calls the police first. The first to call is automatically the victim from here on out
Police aren’t the ones who make the decision of whoes the victim and whoes the aggressor.....they get the call and they go and arrest who they have to arrest based on the evidence present to them. The COURTS decide whoes the aggressor and whoes not. The COURT decides who goes to jail and/or pays fines, ect.... People always like to think if you’re arrested for something you’re guilty of it. Just like a speeding ticket, you can challenge any charge. Just doesn’t help your case if you fight the police on the way to jail.
Here on out? It's been that way for a long time. Not just for domestics. If you ever have to utilize self defense with a weapon or otherwise, be the one to call the cops first. It's just smart for your own safety.
I mean, it's pretty clear that the police believed the guy and his mom. But, because she called and reported it, they legally had to take him in. That's why they told him to bring his phone and show proof in court, so she could get rightfully punished. Just like they said, if he had reported it, she would have been arrested.

“Guys don’t call the cops because they think we will only arrest them and not the woman” Proceeds to arrest only the man who has proof of abuse and a witness while ignoring the woman with almost no proof just because she called first.
They said she had marks amd evidence of abuse... my ex husband would abuse me, steal my cell and my car so I couldn't call.or get away. Once he forgot to disconnect the landlines and I called for help.... I had evidence so he then scratched himself and hit his head intentionally and claimed I had done that to him and he wanted to press charges after charges were already being pressed on him. But because he had prior charges on him and he wasn't even supose to be near me and he was found with my phone and my car down the road... obviously he was lying and I am so thankful the cops recognized the difference.

It's so sad...
@rats arsed Woe is you having to help other people
You think your PRECIOUS taxes would be lower if we didn't have low-mid income homes? Do you REALLY think the govt wouldn't just keep taxation as-is and spend it on other stuff?!
No community in the world would like someone with that kind of mentality, except maybe Epstein island...
So on behalf of the Human race i would kindly ask you to go duck yourself, you self-absorbed, money hungry, ignorant stain on society..
@rats arsed It`s everything but sad because the way the police officer handled this situation is exactly the way I want to see my taxes being spend.
“I.... I lost my son to the same drug problem 3 years ago”
Cop: “mhmm”
yup... heartless

Same 😹
And? did you want him to care about someone who he never met and who hasn't existed for 3 Years lol.
Once you hear multiple people's life story every day, it's hard to care.
14:01 this guy is legit an angel bro I feel for him man. Protect that man ✊🏾😥
Praying for that sad dude. He definitely was going through it.
“She’s there with her cousin...and doesn’t want him back tonight”
*SWEET HOME ALABAMA*
This made me choke on air from laughing
😂😂
HAHAHAHAHA
still laughing!
It is always the cousin excuse, lmao..
Officer Becka is straight up super friendly and personable while maintaining an “I’m in charge” stance and that is freakin awesome 🙌💙
The guy whose crying with 6 kids and a wife... my heart breaks for him. 😭
Hispanic man broke my heart...😭
That 1st lady has love for that dude trying to help him sober up. Sorry your son passed RIP
I feel some type of way for Brisk dad. The pain wave is so strong that your knees buckle and your legs turn to jello and you can do nothing but fall. I know that feeling all too well. I hope you are doing okay, Brisk. You keep being an amazing dad and man. ❤️
Home boy just has his heartbroken. So bad, he seems intoxicated. Just.. my heart goes out to him.
My heart goes out to the homie with a broken heart
Yup 90 percent of cops are trash
@@Amm17ar either way if the person isnt the aggressor and gets wrongfully arrested they still going to jail
Here on out? It's been that way for a long time. Not just for domestics. If you ever have to utilize self defense with a weapon or otherwise, be the one to call the cops first. It's just smart for your own safety.
Joshua Harris I meant like here on out for the rest of that situation
Gaddammit! You know you're addicted when you watch this before bed and after that 4 hr nap. The only addiction that makes me happy without hurting me.

Omg is that what he says
Nique Larsen yes
Guy: my wife brought another man home we got kids
Becca: why are you crying though?
"she had marks" so he gets charged.
yeah a crazy girlfriend would never inflict harm on herself...
I mean, it's pretty clear that the police believed the guy and his mom. But, because she called and reported it, they legally had to take him in. That's why they told him to bring his phone and show proof in court, so she could get rightfully punished. Just like they said, if he had reported it, she would have been arrested.
@@LunatheMoonDragon na man it always comes down to the officers discretion, whatever they think goes.
-he says it himself in the beginning, he's visited the girlfriend multiple times already.
*wink wink
They should have checked the phone than just going off her word. The truthful one is most likely the innocent one.
Call the cops right away. Have your local non emergency police on your contacts if you date crazy.
Better yet don’t date
Lemonade man was the best. I feel bad for him. So glad he wasnt on anything!

My favorite line. “I drank a lot I’m retired.”
That poor women losing her son and now this!
Jay Murphy that’s so heavy man. It reminds me why it’s so important that I try and help as many alcoholics and addicts as I can in my life. Why it’s important that I stay sober and tell my story, carry the message to others.
Momma should have taught her son better
Allaan Snackbar you’re insinuating it’s somehow the mother’s fault that her son has a substance abuse problem. Which tells me you’re obviously super ignorant about the disease of addiction and alcoholism.

I’m so happy to see a nice ending! That broken hearted guy was sooo sad. Brody it gets better!! The officer the female officer was very nice and brought him straight to a buddies house
"I didnt want him walking, he's wearing dark clothes"
He was wearing white tank top and track pants with white reflective stripe. Lmao
Its just easier to give an excuse that he is wearing dark clothes then to say that he could be suicidal or not thinking correctly or impaired
it was a metaphor for his mental state
No way the dude the girl brought home could’ve been her cousin. I mean like it’s obvious. If you’re with some for 12 years,, you should know what your partners cousins look like. You don’t have to know what their name is but you should know what they look like. She even told the police that she didn’t want him home that night. Therefore we can say that she is a cheater😂😂
Cuz boyfriend 😂
Anyone else just feel bad for him, the way she talked to him was heartwarming🥺

@SeriousName as long as they can get the job done like the other men and women that's all that matters.
Aye, she could kick a puppy, and these guys would still fawn over her.
@SeriousName Because theres other ways to handle things besides brute force and from the times I've seen her she does pretty good at handling people calmly.
Miss Becca is probably the nicest, most respectful, understanding police officer ever. She really wants to level with folks and try to understand them. You can tell she cares about her community. May the lord protect her, her fellow officers, and her community.
May the odds be ever in her favour

“Guys don’t call the cops because they think we will only arrest them and not the woman”
Proceeds to arrest only the man who has proof of abuse and a witness while ignoring the woman with almost no proof just because she called first.
She had an order and they have to go to court to prove what happened
