@FilterChanger the American Range units are not so bad there nice and open inside and very simple to service and diagnose. that unit has eaten a few i have to check its gas pressure on it it still has the orifice restricting flow to the pilot but is eating thermopiles. deep fried food yum.(why i am fat)
Ugh... this brought me back to the days when I worked on chicken fryers for a living. Too much grease for me. Good job, back in business. After the boilout, can I interest you in some filter powder? How about some breading, or batter dip.
Thanks for the video. My AR fryer recently stopped working. The pilot is lit but once I turned on the thermostat, the pilot light goes off and nothing is lit. Do you know what's causing this issue? Thanks in advance.
Either a safety is open or the thermostat is not working (dose it chick when you turn it up) after that I would double check the wires on the gas valve then if all that checks out I would replace the gas valve
I just came across one today, saved me time knowing the size of wrench and I appreciate that. Thank you.
Great instructions. Safety check after installation is very important.
Looking at fixing one now.
Can you show me how to adjust pilot light on fryer , thank you

That's the exact problem I'm having. So this video is how I solve this problem?
Awesome!! That was a big help thank you.
My pilot won’t stay lit once I let go of the valve fire goes out? What’s the issue here anyone know
Could it be the same thing if the pilot is staying lit
I am replacing a thermopile in an American range now. Thanks for the video. You put the red wire on the right though. Correct?

Hi there. What could be wrong if the pilot light lits fine but the main burners do not lit at all?
